Key West Conch Fritter Stand Outside
    Michelle H.

Great location by Mallory Square. The owner taking our order was hilarious. Great humor and life advice came out of him. He quickly took our order while the cook would start preparing our smorgasbord of a feast before we even paid. Fantastic teamwork. As our food came out the side window, we prepared a variety of sauces to try with all this deep fried delight. Sitting at one of the tree benches by the nearby fountain gave us the opportunity to people watch the cruisers coming off the ships. Four adults and two kids devoured this deliciousness. No wonder this stand has been around for decades.

Just a little shack in the center of the town, but they are true to their word. It is the best in the world. Perfectly fried and fluffy with secret dipping sauces. It made my conch dreams come true. It is also located right next to the hop on hop off tour busses. End your tour with the perfect snack. Well worth it.

They are in the heart of everything, right by the Trolley, Aquarium, Shipwreck Museum and Mallory Square. We've only gotten the Conch Fritters and they are amazing!

Best conch fritters around! If you're in the area, stop here! You won't regret it. Hubby has been eating the conch fritters from here for years. He finally took me and I'm hooked. Not only are these the best conch fritters in Key West, they are the best anywhere! We ordered the 12 piece conch fritters with a side of the Key Lime mustard. The gentleman working the stand uses a small ice cream scoop style tool to pop the conch fritters batter into the fryer. A few minutes later, we had 12 freshly fried, flavor-packed, hot and delicious conch fritters. The Key Lime mustard is a game changer! It's tangy and delightful. Try this place and I'll be hooked like me!

Great snack to try while in Key Wesr! It was different, but crispy and yummy. Worth a try for those who are willing to try new food :)

Made a stop by Key West Conch Fritters because word on the street is that they are the best in town. I have never had Conch before, so I didn't know what to expect. The batter was delicious and the accompanying sauces took them over the top. The mustard based sauce was my favorite! I am not a huge Conch fan, but if you are this is well worth the stop. You can't come to Key West and not try Conch!

A small stand in one of those tucked away corners in Key West - it is worth finding! We tried the coconut shrimp, the calamari, the conch fritters and the lemonade. Service was friendly & literally everything was very fresh/made to order, and flavorful!! Highly recommend!!

    I want this recipe!!! Delicious!!!!!!

We asked a lifetime Key West resident who sells tickets for the Conch Train where she would go for a quick lunch and she told us "Key West Conch Fritters"!!! This was the 1st time ever eating Conch Fritters and all 5 of us are completley hooked. We ordered 3 dozen with a large fry and it was better then a sit down gourmet meal. The fritters were fried to order and served with a homemade key lime mustard sauce. Absolutely Delicious. It was magical. It was the best meal of the week and we didn't have a bad meal the entire time. Our 1st stop next time in Key West.

    Tucked in and perfect

Perfect little fair food style menu with great prices. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Great location near tram pickup make it a convenient place to grab a snack before hitting a tour

Took pretty long to get our order. There was only one person ahead of us too and no one behind. This was my first time trying conch and probably my last. It wasn't that good and is chewy. My friend liked it. To each there own. So give it a try for yourself!

Good stuff!! We are visiting key west for our first anniversary. Walking around we go a little hungry so girlfriend we'd get a snack until lunch. This place we found on Yelp and figured why not. I look to Yelp for guidance on food locations and check out everyone else take on the place. We ordered combo of coconut shrimp, clam strips, calamari rings, and their famous conch fritters. I'm not usually a big fan of conch fritters but after having this place's version. YUMMERS and dipped in their Keylime mustard.

Excellent flavor but very little conch
    Crystal B.

Excellent flavor and seasoned well but they have minuscule conch inside. I know this is a tourist spot that sells an expensive seafood delicacy but puhleeeeze, let me taste more than kibbles and bits.

Super good, hot, and on the spot. 12 conch fritters for $20 are not bad because they have a really nice size.

All stuffing and almost zero conch! Terrible and overpriced for what you get. Go to a real restaurant not a shack.

From the moment we entered the restaurant to the long after time of our departure, she continuously greeted us with excitement, joined us in conversation, and even helped us capture moments in pictures. She really helped make this a memorable experience for us. Now to the food. So I have had Broils in multiple areas of the country. From Maraylamd, Texas and to the Low Country of Charlestin SC, but I have never had as tasty of Broil as I just had at the Yummy Crab in Key West Florida. I mean this place was absolutely amazing! The flavor of every piece of crab, corn, crawfish, shrimp, sasauge and potatoes in the dripping wet cajun sauce served in a bag to retain all that juice, flavor and aroma was all nearly too much to contain. So glad of all the wonderful places on the island we had to eat we chose this place. Thank you Jackie for your outstanding hospitality and service. You are amazing!

Well we're a big group we did get seating fairly fast beside them having to out tables together they weren't busy at all. Once we got seating we wait for a good 10 mins or so for menus we had to eventually grab our selves. A couple walked in few minutes after us and got their menu as they sat down Now the boil. The spice they had for the boil had a sweet taste might have been the premade seafood boil seasoning. Thats what it tasted like to me .Wasn't to my liking. Something was eh about it. The fried oysters had a but if a fishy taste no go. I know a lot of places weights the seafood but the portions when they came out it was more like they added more corn and potatoes. For the price definitely wasn't worth it.

A must visit in key west!…read more Reservations for outside I have heard sell out weeks in advance. We were able to get a reservation inside. I was a little bummed we didn't get to see the view, but the ambiance inside is lovely too. Their menus light up which was so helpful in a dark restaurant. Our server was super helpful and made some great recommendations. We tried a few different small plates to share and enjoyed a few cocktails. Absolutely love the desserts here. The bread pudding and key lime pie were to die for! Price wise this was a bit expensive but we paid comparable for less nice places in key west so I would say this is 100% worth a stop.

It was a beautiful evening, and we were seated with a lovely view of the waterfront. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we were happy we chose this restaurant. Food: I always enjoy when a restaurant offers a creative and inventive cocktail menu. I won't go into detail on each one, but they were all very good, especially the Spiced Old Fashioned. At our server's suggestion, we ordered a couple of plates of the Grilled Ciabatta Bread. The bread was nicely grilled, and the roasted garlic manchego butter made it especially delicious. I normally try not to fill up on bread, but this was absolutely worth it. We ordered an eclectic mix of small and large plates. Some of the standout dishes included the Lobster Mac and Cheese, Swordfish, and Crab Cake. The Brussels sprouts took top honors, perfectly roasted without being greasy, full of flavor, and complemented by a generous amount of bacon. The one disappointment was the Pork Shank Osso Buco. While it was tender, it was only warm and a bit underseasoned. It was good, but not great, especially for someone who enjoys pork shank dishes. We saved room for dessert, and they were all crowd pleasers. My personal favorite was the Cuban Bread Pudding. The Chocolate Pistachio Crème Brûlée was also unique and delicious. Service: We had reservations for 7:30 and were seated promptly. The hostess and our server did a great job of making us feel welcome. The entire two-hour meal was well paced, and we always felt attended to. I was especially impressed with the backlit menu portfolios. They made it easy to read in the evening without guests needing to use their phone flashlights, which was a thoughtful and effective use of technology. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they placed a sign on the table acknowledging the occasion, which was a nice touch. It would have been even better if one of the desserts had included a lit candle. Atmosphere: The setting is beautiful. We were seated in a smaller dining room with several other tables. When we first arrived, there was a larger, very boisterous group nearby, and it made it difficult to hear our server. Fortunately, they left about 30 minutes into our meal, and the atmosphere became much more relaxed and enjoyable. Our waterfront view added to the experience. This was a very special evening. It was also the most expensive meal we had in Key West, so it was reasonable to have high expectations. With a few improvements, it could have been a five-star experience. Definitely a place we would return to.
