Steak, Eggs & Hash Browns

Simple, quality ingredients made really well with a comfortable eating environment. Roosters, and the occasional lizard, eat your left overs for free kids entertainment as well. Don't feed them intentionally though, it's against the city rules. Not a whole lot more you can ask for a food truck stall.

Truck and seating area

DeLuna's is our favorite breakfast spot in the keys. Delicious food, good prices and service. The seating area is relaxing as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Ham, cheese and egg. My own mug.

The service is fantastic, when there is a line CC keeps it moving. The food is amazing! Beans and rice are the best we've had in key west. Breakfast is yummy and filling oh and the fresh Cuban bread! Nice music, picnic tables and all walking distance from Boyd's campground. Absolutely delicious!

Great breakfast sandwich and coffee. Conveniently located at the entrance to Boyd's Campground

Food!! What you can't see is the great customer service!

This place has a great ambiance as well as cooks and servers. Everyone was super friendly. The food was amazing. I had a specialty sandwich made cause I don't like egg. He rang me up for the best price versus what I ordered. Even the roosters come here to eat!

This is a food truck that I visited with my golf cart. Went for breakfast and ended up buying lunch to go too - as the special for the day was Rabo Encendido. Delicious. Ive eaten a lot of Cuban food during my 30 yrs in Miami and this tiny little truck can hold its own. Staff was lovely and food as promised.

Chocolate pancakes , bacon ,potato and onion are amazing !!!!

The quest for the best key lime pie in Key West began over dinner on Monday night, when I mentioned wanting to check out Kermit's on my friend Jen's recommendation, lamenting that I never got to enjoy a truly good key lime pie during my first and last visit in 2020. The one I had then was... not good. (I now know the dead giveaway is that it was green). What followed has become a pursuit of principle: truly a noble quest I can get behind. Fast-forward 3 days, and here's our verdict so far, with one contender still to come. Tomorrow night we're headed to Red Shoe Island Bistro for dinner at the insistence of a local who claims it blows Kermit's cheesecake out of the water: 1. Kermit's - The benchmark. Bright, tart, light, and perfectly balanced. 2. Hurricane Hole - Good, but missing the extra punch of tartness that puts Kermit's over the top. 3. El Siboney - Solid, but denser and more cheesecake-like, but also lacking the light, airy tartness of Kermit's. 4. Key Lime Pie Bakery - Forgettable in a town where memorable matters. 5. Matt's Stock Island Kitchen - Overly sweet with virtually no lime (or even lemon) presence. Our slice came boxed with whipped cream and... cherry sauce?! If you'd called it birthday cake, I'd have found that a more accurate description. Might as well call it Diabetes On a Plate. The boys did say this place is located in a beautiful hotel with great view. So there's that. Tomorrow morning, a plan was proposed (that I seconded): we'll stop by Kermit's to grab two slices to go and stash them in the fridge, specifically to revisit after dinner at Red Shoe Bistro as a point of reference. If Red Shoe's pie ends up being too close to call, we'll have no choice but to bring a slice home and do a true, side-by-side comparison in real time. And in the interest of not ending the trip on a sour note if tomorrow night disappoints, at least we'll be leaving Key West on Friday morning with Kermit's key lime pie as our final bite.

Blue Heaven - Key Lime Pie

Blue Heaven is one of those rare places that feels less like a restaurant and more like a second…read morehome you somehow never knew you'd been missing. The food is excellent--flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and consistently satisfying--but what truly sets this place apart is the service, especially when you're seated at the bar. As a bar guest, I experienced something far above exceptional. It felt like walking into a place I already loved and being shown the very best of it by people who genuinely care. To the bartenders and staff who made every visit feel that way: Dairy-ah (I'm almost certainly butchering the spelling, but the pronunciation stuck with me), thank you for the warmth, the skill, and the way you made the bar feel welcoming every time. Lucy--always with the hat on backwards--you became my spirit animal the moment I realized how perfectly that energy matched the whole vibe of the place. Thank you for being exactly who you are behind that bar. Brittney, the chillest of them all: your calm, easy presence made everything feel lighter and better. Chelsea, I only got to have you serve me once, but that one time was enough to know how good you are at this. And to the Servers, Paul and Lola: even in our brief interactions while I was at the bar, both of you brought such strong, genuine personalities that it elevated the whole experience. Thank you for that. Blue Heaven is an amazing restaurant with great food and even greater service. But more than that, it's the people who make it feel like coming home and being shown the best time in a place you love the most. Thank you--truly--to all of you for making it feel that way. And to Henry, a longtime regular at the bar, who passed away during my visit. "His" presence was clearly part of the fabric of this place, and I'm grateful I got to share that space, however briefly, with the people who knew and cared for him. Thank You All, and sorry if I didn't list your name in this review because there were far more of you than I've mentioned, just Know my early mornings sitting at the Blue Heavens Bar, was the highlight of everyday I spent in Key West. Sincerely, Brian.. (or as my friends call me, "Jonesie")...

To begin; you have to call the restaurant to obtain reservations…read more I looked on Yelp for top rated restaurants and we chose this one as an anniversary and birthday dinner to celebrate. Overall this visit really fell short. Our waiter was not attentive at all and we made it clear we would be ordering cocktails, bottles of wine, appetizers and meals as well as dessert as it was a celebration dinner. He ignored us all evening and we had to flag down other people to help get drinks and food. We sat outside being eaten by no-see-ums while waiting for any attention, so it was frustrating from the start. We ordered the Smokey dick and it had a terrible after taste. The bbq shrimp appetizers were not amazing either. My filet was uncooked and I had to send back as so rare I could not cut into it. It came back then rare with just brown outside layer. We ended the evening with the key lime pie as it is highly publicized and we were incredibly underwhelmed at that point. All in all a terrible experience.
