Updated menu. Place is a good truck located in a Rv park. Parking is tough if you are not staying there. There was a 15 min parking spot by the laundry and we took it to order the food to go. Got the guava pastries:5 stars. Not too sweet, flaky, yummy. Side of plaintains: 3 stars. Standard. 4 small piece of plaintains. Cooked well. No accompaniment. Side of seasoned potatoes: 3 stars. Potato hash with onions. A little under cooked. Wish it was a little better cooked and crispy. Cafe con leche: like a latte, you can request how many sugar (teaspoon). Tasted good. I was so bummed that we found this place on our way out back home. I just went on Yelp and looked for a place where we can get breakfast sandwiches before we left. I'm originally from Jersey and there's nothing better than a breakfast sandwich and of all the places, I thought this one look really good. I was more than happy that I did it. I have not had café con Leche in years and I had one of theirs and I could tell you, not only was my stomach was happy but my heart was too. Then the breakfast sandwiches are really good, they are on good Cuban bread but we should have ordered cheese with them because I forgot the bread is a little bit drier than the bread we are used to but still delish. But that aside let me talk about the highlight, I seriously did not want to think about cooking after seven hour drive. I ordered two Cuban sandwiches to go and four empanadas de ropa vieja and pastelillos de guava. Once home, I warmed them slowly on a pan and they were absolutely delicious!! The empanadas de ropa vieja were so delicious the flavor was on spot and heated up great. I know that we will be back to the Keys and I'm definitely going to have one of their dinners. I should've asked if any were available today, but I totally forgot but next time. read more

Great food truck with a patio and tables just inside Boyd's Key West Campground. I stopped in with the family and we had lunch. My son had the meat omlette my wife had the chicken empanadas and I had the fried pink shrimp special. Each was cooked to order and hot and fresh when it was served. I'm picky with fries and only I think they're worth the calories when they're hot and crisp and these fit the bill. The empanadas were very juicy and had a great flavor. Highly recommend! read more

I was a little wary of a food truck being at the campground we were staying at, but damn, are we glad we were too tired to go elsewhere. The Cuban coffee was a cup full of wonderful. Perfectly sweet, smooth and not acidic. The pastries.... Y'ALL, THE PASTRIES. Handmade. Flaky. Just the right sweetness. And incredibly delicious. We got the coconut and guava and both were outstanding. We will be back for more tomorrow. The real deal breakfast was perfectly seasoned, teasty, filling, and comes with homemade bread! The seasoned potatoes from the Real Deal reminded me of my childhood breakfast mornings with my family and the colada was strong and sweet. Don't get me started on the croquetas... perfectly crunchy and filled with the most delicious ham! Just what we needed and being greeted by the roosters was a comedic plus. This place was perfect. It's a little hidden so be on the lookout (right beside Boyd's Campground). Breakfast was great and inexpensive. They have a variety of Cuban meals and different specials. Great food truck in a tiny space off the beaten path on Stock island. We were staying at the Marriott about a mile away and were looking for a good cup of coffee when I turned to Yelp. Found it on our next to last day here unfortunately, wish we'd have known about it the first day bc we'd have been there every morning for the delicious Cuban coffee con leche. They have yummy little meat and guava pastries for $1.50 and good breakfast sandwiches as well. Very nice staff and quick service. It's places like this that make me happy, and thankful for Yelp. Love supporting local little businesses, especially those that are so friendly and good. I'll take places like this over a Starbucks any day. read more

I spent a week in Key West and ate at least one Cuban style sandwich everyday. The Grouper sandwich at Delunas was the best by far (and the others were all good). Amazing sauce with garlic and lime, lightly fried, perfect portions and bread. I will be back on all my annual trips. read more

My daughter loved their buttery and light chocolate chip pancakes. She was not a fan of the fowl on the premises initially. However, with the help of the baskets of delicious bread they were able to make peace. I had steak and eggs. Churrasco was juicy and flavorful. So much variety for a food truck. This is a spot frequented by locals and it is DELICIOUS! They get their seafood fresh right off the boats (docked 100 feet away) which can't be said for the popular restaurants off of Duval. Tried their lobster tail and mahi mahi sandwiches - both were scrumptious. This family business has it down! Cuban, seafood and also plenty of American breakfast options. If you are down for a real authentic feel and good eating come here! Try their shrimp and empanadas because they go fast...they were out when I came...that's how you know it is GOOD. There is not much in this area for breakfast choices. Stumbling onto this storefront turned out to be a tasty surprise. Freshly made coffee and breakfast sandwiches on yummy Cuban bread were the definite stars here. Not to mention you are welcome like family when you arrive.
