    Quesadilla with sweet plantains
    Andrea B.

We ordered Morita's for breakfast and headed to 7 mile bridge and enjoyed a picnic brunch! Perfect choice. The breakfast tacos were delicious and I loved the quesadilla that I ordered with shredded chicken and sweet plantains. The side of sour cream in a cute little cup was a perfect topper. I also got a cafe con leche that was incredible. Can't resist a Cuban coffee!! I ordered to go and went next door to grab some souvenirs from the salon next door while I waited for my food. When I came back the gals in the kitchen were singing and then chatting with me. I had heard that this place was not to be missed and that it is a cute family owned place with great service and I couldn't agree more! Very nice family and food that made me wish I had more room to keep eating!

Cuban mixed sandwich. Lots of roast pork, home cooked ham, veggie relish.

Love this place! A little Cuban cafe with the nicest people, and the best food! Coffee Cubano was absolutely delicious. The guava & cheese pastry went really well with the coffee. Then I took the hot sandwich and a fruit soda to the beach nearby for a tasty lunch. Will return asap.

This cafe is a tiny slice of heaven. My girlfriend and I got coffee and breakfast here this morning and absolutely loved it. FAR better then "The Morning Joint" next door. Also reasonable pricing! The ladies working inside were extremely polite and nice to talk to while asking about menu options. They even brought our food out to us. You order inside the small storefront and eat outside at one of the tables with a nice view. The coffee was strong but fantastic and exactly what she was hoping for, while I enjoyed one of the "jupina" pineapple sodas. We ordered the Cuban breakfast with chicken and breakfast tacos with bacon. Needless to say there were no leftovers. We will be coming here for now on when we come down.

Absolutely yummy food! A little hole in the wall on the way back from Key West. A gem of a place with such friendly people. My hubby and I shared the Cuban and a Caribbean wrap. Lucky for us we could each try 1/2! I will crave this food...

Shack Stop Get some fresh comida and be happy. Family owned Cuban sandwich (not on Cuban bread like in TPA, more like hogue roll) thick ham, pork and special sauce which was a tang pickle Mayo mix- good stuff

Authentic small/quaint place with amazing food and service. The staff were friendly and recommended their Cuban breakfast on a sandwich with chorizo, and it did not disappoint. Cafe con leche was the best we've had! Highly recommend. Outdoor seating is available/ no indoor seating.

Dios mio! Delicioso. You won't want to miss this small hole in the wall - they're so much more than that. Absolutely wonderful lovingly prepared Cuban classics with fabulous friendly hospitality that might remind you of home. I sort of felt like I was asking mom to make us lunch. Loving, doting people. Yes, they take credit cards. Yes they might could be out of this or that, they're small, but hey, that's just going to make you want to come back some other time. I'm sure of it. Jonesing for the tamales here! Counter service with some fun ecclectic outside seating. Cuban was spectacular. Pork chops lunch special was nom nom nom yum yumn. Lol. That yucca tho. What a treat!

100% recommend. Stop here. Don't second guess. It seems small and a bit of a hole In the wall but there is something magical that happens in that kitchen that sets this place apart from anything else in the area. Literally everything that came out of the kitchen was complimented by me or one or the other patrons. We ordered at the counter which was literally small enough to be part of the kitchen and sat outside under the deck at a picnic table. There were others there and we weren't immediately sure we made a great choice but one by one people who finished re-approached the ordering counter and complimented the food. The anticipation grew and it culminated in a symphony of delicious satisfaction. This is where you want to stop on your way into key west. It's better than anything we had in our time in New west proper and came with off key prices. We got two meals, two drinks, and dessert for under $30 and it was the highlight of our trip.

My husband ordered the ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing. We split it but the first thing we noticed it was huge. The sandwich was served on Cuban bread that they bake fresh themselves, and it was some of the best bread I've ever had; light, flaky, perfectly golden brown, and incredibly fresh. Every ingredient tasted fresh and homemade, including real eggs cooked to order, not the processed "fake" eggs you find in so many places. Be sure to save room for one of their homemade pastries. Like the bread, everything is baked in-house, and you can taste the care that goes into every bite. The coffee was equally impressive; rich, smooth, and full of flavor. It paired perfectly with breakfast and kept me coming back for more. What really sets LJ's Café apart, though, is the atmosphere. This is a true mom-and-pop establishment where family and friends work together. From the moment you walk into the small storefront, you're welcomed like family. The service is warm, genuine, and makes you feel right at home. And here's an added bonus for Florida travelers: the air conditioning is fantastic! After visiting several places in Marathon, we definitely appreciated being able to enjoy our meal in a cool, comfortable environment. I can't rave enough about this wonderful spot. If you're passing through Marathon, make sure your schedule allows for breakfast or lunch because those are the only hours they're open. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

It was so good I actually went twice. Once by myself and once with my family. We all had sandwiches which were very generously portioned. I had the Italian on one occasion and the Turkey on another. Both were fab and more than enough. With a bag of chips a single sandwich is an easy lunch for two. Clientele seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists. The family who runs it was very friendly. Service was fantastic. If you want a more hearty meal they have a daily special that includes two or three meat options, rice, beans, etc. not exactly diet food, but you won't go hungry. Seating was limited but they have tables outside as well. No one was left standing. I loved it and would return again.

They sell booze, unique gift items, bulk candy section, sunscreen, bug spray, clothing, snacks, canned drinks, and so much more. There is an activities area where you can check out things to do while you're staying at Isla Belle Beach Resort too. Ask for Sean, he's the Director of Guest Experiences and he'll take great care of you! The space is beautiful and so big. The Marketplace reminds me a lot of Sugarboo & Co which is a unique home goods store with fun gift items. If you've ever been to Sugarboo in Orlando or Atlanta, you'll know what I mean. We stopped in here a few times mainly for coffee or breakfast sandwiches. Had the hazelnut cappuccino and warning to all, they make the coffee super fresh and piping hot. No joke, almost burned my mouth twice. I wasn't the only one. Ha. But coffee is good, just be careful and let your drink cool off. I speak from experience. The breakfast sandwiches here are really tasty and fresh. They don't list the breakfast sandwiches on the menu as it changes regularly. We had an everything bagel breakfast sandwiches with egg, bacon and cheese. The bagel was perfectly soft and chewy and yummy. Pricing is fair and you can charge to your room. The space is pretty small, but it is really cute and the baked goods are insane and gone by 10 on a Friday. Fresh baked bread fresh pastries looked unbelievably good. They have a large selection of fresh maid smoothies, and juices made while you wait which is perfect for after a night of drinking! I saw some pictures on Yelp of the eggs Benedict and they have a full page devoted to different types of eggs Benedict. I decided on this smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was probably the best I've ever eaten in my life in any country. It was literally that outstanding!! The food comes out relatively fast although they're insanely busy and it's efficient.. It's not a place you lounge around with a lot of people - eat and get out, because there is a line waiting to be seated no matter what day what time. These servers really hustle too. This place is also known for its coffee which they have a lot of different varieties iced and hot and it's absolutely top-notch, pair that with some fresh baked goods and you've got yourself one hell of a start to your day. I've always loved Evelyn's for breakfast or Sarabeth's, but this place blew it away in my opinion and I've been coming here for 15 years for work. This is my absolute go to breakfast place for you yelpers if you're interested - I don't think you'll be disappointed!!
