We finally got a chance to stop here. It is not usually open when we are down so this time we made it a point to go on a Thursday. RJ had pork, chicken, and shrimp and I had beef, chicken and shrimp. Chinos is a great little food truck/trailer. The food is very good. His hours are a little bit different but if you catch them open, make sure you stop in and eat some of his very very good tacos. He's right across from the Coca-Cola and next to the hardware sometimes it's a little hard to see him, but it's well worth the effort. read more

Reasonably priced. I enjoyed the ground beef tacos, one with corn tortillas and the other flour. The meat quality was good, but not very spicy as in taco seasoning. My family and I were looking for tacos and this truck popped up. We needed vegetarian options and it looked promising. And who doesn't love a taco truck? 4/5 of us ordered tacos and 4/5 of us agreed they were some of the best we've ever eaten. My partner and I are taco people and we were blown away. He's vegetarian and the guy made magic happen. He could and would modify anything to be vegetarian. Tiny truck, HUGE flavor and great personality. We are driving back there now on our long journey home. Excellent tacos. We'd been searching for shrimp tacos for days on a trip in the Keys and happened to be near this little shack. Yelp led the way and the rest is history. We split two orders of three shrimp tacos between three of us and had a side of rice, too. I'd skip the rice next time--it was fine but nothing special. The shrimp tacos were so flavorful. The shrimp was cooked perfectly fly and the flavor was unreal. I don't think you could go wrong with any topping choice but for sure check out the pineapple salsa. This is a must-stop taco truck in Big Pine! Whether you're staying in Big Pine or just passing through, if you're around during the open hours, stop and get yourself a taco or 3! I am constantly driving back and forth from Marathon to Key West and try to stop every time I go by. Wait usually isn't more than 10 minutes even with several people in line. This truck recently made it back to the Big Pine Key area. I am in town for work and any time something new pops up, you know I have to try it at least once. The concept is neat and being a truck I didn't expect a large selection. The first time I went I ordered the small rice bowl with spicy shredded chicken. The chicken wasn't spicy at all, it didn't even have any type of seasonings or flavor to it. The small bowl is plenty for one serving and was more than enough for me. My only complaint was the lack of flavor and seasoning to the meat and the rice. I went back a second time and had a small rice bowl with grilled grouper. The fish was seasoned but once again the rice lacked any flavor. Instead of being garnished with cilantro as I'm used to there was enough cilantro to create a salad and the stems were still on them. That made me throw away a big chunk of my bowl because it was just too much cilantro. The small bowl is $5 but there's an up charge for every topping you add to the bowl. read more
