A nice little convenience store that serves sandwiches and other delicious food. Very nice folks that work there - I believe it's family run. Stopped in a couple times during my stay in Key West. Stuff is mildly pricey on the shelf but not really too bad. The sandwiches I got were very decently priced, and really good for the money. Getting a sammich? Definately get it on their Cuban bread! Oh...and don't feed the chickens!

Prices have DRASTICALLY gone UP. Current Prices AUGUST 2025. BREAKFAST SANDWICHES WENT FROM $7.50 4 YEARS AGO... TO $12.50 TODAY.

Prices have DRASTICALLY gone up. Maybe due to the egg prices?? Who knows.. but I was SHOCKED when I got here and saw how much a breakfast sandwich cost. Don't get me wrong- the sandwich was good. The bread was fresh baked and soft and the bacon was plentiful. My Corditito was HEAVEN. Just what I needed, the morning, after a night of debauchery. Strong and sweet. Baby Chickens made for great ambiance.

Best Cuban toast I had while In Key west. Perfectly pressed creating that crunch to the bite. yum! Quick service. Sandwich made to order. Also had the egg and cheese. Again it satisfied. The bread was delicious and the sammy perfectly portioned. Straightforward menu with plenty of delicious options. It's a good place to grab and go. Or stand at the counter by the window while you enjoy el cafecito y pan con mantequilla. Ana's delivers!

This was SO good!!! The plantains are some of the best I've ever had. Options to sit outside and eat or take it to go. I loved the deli next door with additional options.

I ordered two coffees at the walk up window on a Saturday morning around 8am. When I arrived there was a line with about 5 people in front of me and it went rather quickly. I got both coffees within 5 minutes of ordering. The coffee was fresh and robust, bursting with flavor. My cortadito was perfectly balanced with just a hint of sugar. This place has a laid back atmosphere with ample outdoor seating. Lots of people sitting outside enjoying coffee and food. We didn't order any food this time but it all looked great. It's very close to the southern most point so it's in a good location as well. Will be back next time we're in town!

I visited Ana's Cuban Cafe in Key West to try a Cuban breakfast for the first time. The dish came with rice, black beans, sunny-side-up eggs, and a piece of Cuban bread. Everything was fresh and plated well, but the meal felt too carb-heavy for my taste. The eggs were the only real protein, and I ended up eating only about half the rice and bread. It just didn't feel balanced. What I did enjoy, though, was the 4oz Cuban espresso. It was strong, smooth, and exactly what I needed to start the day. That alone made the stop worthwhile. The cafe has open-air seating, which I appreciated. There was a nice breeze, and the temperature was comfortable when I visited in the morning. The environment was casual and clean. The staff was efficient, but the person who seemed to be in charge felt somewhat indifferent; not unfriendly, but not welcoming either. Overall, I'm glad I got to experience a traditional Cuban breakfast, but it wasn't something I'd come back for. I would, however, return just for the espresso.

Food was great. Ordered a BLt on Cuban bread. Delicious and they didn't skimp on the bacon. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely come back.

Great food!! Very relaxed vibe. Cuban sandwich, Philly cheesesteak and Cuban breakfast were all phenomenal!! Highly recommend

Cuban Roast Pork sandwich. Really good.

This little place has a lot to offer: Wonderful Cuban coffee, very good Cuban (and other) sandwiches, and a market. They offer many sandwiches other than the Cuban. There is no seating inside but there is an outdoor patio with seating. Most people seemed to get their sandwiches to go but in the morning, you can see that folks enjoy hanging on the patio with some very good coffee. If you have never had Cuban coffee, you won't be disappointed here. Good sandwiches, very good coffee, and a handy market. I'm a fan.

Great food and service at very reasonable prices. Probably 1/3 cost of hotel breakfast. Order from window and seat yourself.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. I ordered with a lovely blonde girl working…read morethe meat slicer. At first she apologized and said she would be right with me (I assured her there was no need to apologize as she was working so hard)! When I ordered with her I asked for the gluten free bread option and she asked if I needed for her to change her gloves. She also explained to me how they don't do the "mini" size in gluten free, the smallest they do with gluten free bread is the regular so that was fine for me. My interaction with her alone really meant so much to me! I really appreciated her attention to my gluten sensitivity. At this point I thought wow, this place deserves five stars. But then I had two more stops down the line. My next stop was the girl who was putting the toppings in the sandwich. She and the man in the back who was putting together a kids meal decided it would be a good time to throw lettuce at each other. Personally, I worked at a restaurant when I was young. I get it. But not in front of customers. Don't throw lettuce into each others stations while there's people around. It was really unprofessional and unsanitary (they were throwing the same lettuce at each other). I will say the boy started it, but it didn't help the girl did it back at him. Anyways after that I had to deal with the cashier who I can only hope was on his first shift. It was difficult for him to understand the sandwich I got, as he was pressing so many different buttons. But at least he went back and asked the girl like three times what kind of sandwich it was before changing it to the right order. Thankfully I was able to see the screen/ which order I ended up paying for. Overall, sandwich was good, stacked with stuff. But they need to do better with training their employees. I wish I got the name of the girl working the meat slicer because she was the only one who had it together!
