Summer Special
Samantha B.

Came here on a Monday afternoon with my bf and we were seated right away. The place has indoor and outdoor seating but we sat inside and it's kind of tight. We were close to our neighbor's table. We ordered two dishes from their summer special menu ($10 each) which one included steak and fries and the other was like a hummus platter. The steak one was okay, the steak was very chewy but the hummus one was really good. We enjoyed that one. I ordered an orzo salad on the side and it was kind of bland. We ordered the Greek salad and it was delicious. It came with fried feta on top... never had that before but I loved it. Came back this past Monday and had horrible service with Maria outside. She never came to our table, and brought the check multiple times when we weren't finished? We specifically told her we would be ordering espresso martinis after brunch and she didn't care lol didn't ask if we wanted dessert or another bottle of wine.... Nothing. Super disappointing. At times we had to go inside of the restaurant to have her come out to our table bc we needed things. Disappointing service but the food was good. This time I opted for their brunch "ROESTI" which had a Potato Pancake, Brie, Prosciutto, Arugula, Hollandaise.

Amazing brunch! Great service. Will def be back. The salmon Benedict in potato pancake was excellent!

Amazing food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. My husband and I both tried the beef braised gnocchi and it was incredible. A must try in Key West!

Came here for the brunch and came back for the dinner. Soooooo good. I don't understand why it's not packed with people. We also walked in at 8pm. We were told it was more a local spot. It's not on Duvall St but it's definitely worth walking, biking, golf carting to. For brunch have the French toast and choice of eggs Benedict. For dinner get the lamb and yellow tail snapper...don't forget the cauliflower pecorino cheese.

Food excellent. Service was good. This is our second visit. We ordered the duck and pine nut gnocchi with arugula. The entrees are very fine and beautifully arranged on the plate. We will most likely return

Hubby and I stopped here for brunch on 7/14 after a catamaran tour and it hit the spot! I ordered the short rib hash and it did not disappoint. It's a small dining room with a decent sized patio. I recommend arriving early if you want to eat inside with the ac lol we sat next to a lovely local couple who recommend other places as well. Would definitely eat here again when I'm in key West!

The dinner here is superb. I went 10 years ago and returned just last weekend on a weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the octopus and duck. My date loved the lamb. The espresso martini was also delish. Would recommend dinner 10/10. We were both less a fan of the brunch, however.

Decidedly average. Crab cakes very heavily breaded. Frittata bland. Furniture well worn.

Service was slow but they were busy. We knew that going in. Still good service! Menu looked good- Caribbean, American food! *Had a vegan option on the menu* Ordered: Mango Mule- really good! Pineapple Ace Cider- delicious! Angry Orchard was the main cider in FL where we were so I was happy to see Ace! Shared a burger with fries- good portions, double patty, plenty of toppings *Ordered the pickle juice mayo on the side- highly recommend!* *Angus Stack Burger* $22 beef patties, lettuce, tomato, american cheese, ssp remoulade sauce, toasted potato bun, french fries The band was AMAZING! They had the crowd dancing, of all ages = a great band! Lots of seating- bar seating or dining seating- first come, first serve! Really busy so plan on the possibility of waiting for a table. A must visit in key west!…read more Reservations for outside I have heard sell out weeks in advance. We were able to get a reservation inside. I was a little bummed we didn't get to see the view, but the ambiance inside is lovely too. Their menus light up which was so helpful in a dark restaurant. Our server was super helpful and made some great recommendations. We tried a few different small plates to share and enjoyed a few cocktails. Absolutely love the desserts here. The bread pudding and key lime pie were to die for! Price wise this was a bit expensive but we paid comparable for less nice places in key west so I would say this is 100% worth a stop.

It was a beautiful evening, and we were seated with a lovely view of the waterfront. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we were happy we chose this restaurant. Food: I always enjoy when a restaurant offers a creative and inventive cocktail menu. I won't go into detail on each one, but they were all very good, especially the Spiced Old Fashioned. At our server's suggestion, we ordered a couple of plates of the Grilled Ciabatta Bread. The bread was nicely grilled, and the roasted garlic manchego butter made it especially delicious. I normally try not to fill up on bread, but this was absolutely worth it. We ordered an eclectic mix of small and large plates. Some of the standout dishes included the Lobster Mac and Cheese, Swordfish, and Crab Cake. The Brussels sprouts took top honors, perfectly roasted without being greasy, full of flavor, and complemented by a generous amount of bacon. The one disappointment was the Pork Shank Osso Buco. While it was tender, it was only warm and a bit underseasoned. It was good, but not great, especially for someone who enjoys pork shank dishes. We saved room for dessert, and they were all crowd pleasers. My personal favorite was the Cuban Bread Pudding. The Chocolate Pistachio Crème Brûlée was also unique and delicious. Service: We had reservations for 7:30 and were seated promptly. The hostess and our server did a great job of making us feel welcome. The entire two-hour meal was well paced, and we always felt attended to. I was especially impressed with the backlit menu portfolios. They made it easy to read in the evening without guests needing to use their phone flashlights, which was a thoughtful and effective use of technology. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they placed a sign on the table acknowledging the occasion, which was a nice touch. It would have been even better if one of the desserts had included a lit candle. Atmosphere: The setting is beautiful. We were seated in a smaller dining room with several other tables. When we first arrived, there was a larger, very boisterous group nearby, and it made it difficult to hear our server. Fortunately, they left about 30 minutes into our meal, and the atmosphere became much more relaxed and enjoyable. Our waterfront view added to the experience. This was a very special evening. It was also the most expensive meal we had in Key West, so it was reasonable to have high expectations. With a few improvements, it could have been a five-star experience. Definitely a place we would return to.

I had the entree trio the scallops were cooked perfectly wrapped inside crispy bacon, the grouper was a little dry and the garlic mashed were slightly bland, the shrimp and were seasoned and cooked well and the spice level of e curry sauce over the rice was great. Overall a great dish. my husband had the appetizer trio and he enjoyed it very much. Again the scallops were the star. We got a side of fries to share and they were very reminiscent of In and Out - a little styrofoamy in texture. The Lime Aioli for the fries was the star here. My son had the grilled cheese and caprese salad - he is a picky eater and devoured them both. I'd say all in all this is a great place!

We had a reservation and were seated promptly at a table up front. Our server was over in flash and soon we were sharing the tuna watermelon ceviche, the lobster mac and cheese and the quesadilla. All were delicious! For our entrees, we had the chicken and waffles, scallops with more of that lobster mac and cheese (I said it was good!) the fresh catch of the day and a ceasar salad. The fresh catch came with an ear of corn that I made short work of! For dessert we devoured the banana bread french toast that was perfection! I will definitely add this to my list of "go tos" in Key West!
