I stopped by here a couple of Tuesday's ago with father and father in law for lunch. We had just gotten off a boat, having been fishing all morning, whenever I found dolphin Deli and so we headed on over. It's located in a strip mall and the inside consists of a place to order as well as a number of booths for you to sit at. For lunch on this day I decided to go with the Keys Fever. The menu described it as fresh corn beef with pepper jack cheese served on rye bread with Dijon mustard, lettuce, tomato and onion. Only a short wait after ordering, I had my sandwich along with accompanying chips and we headed back to our hotel. As for my sandwich itself, I thought it was decent. I thought that the rye bread was nice and soft with a good flavor and also enjoyed the pairing of corn beef and pepper jack cheese. What I wasn't as huge of a fan was the amount of Dijon mustard on it which I thought was a bit much for my liking and so I scrapped some off. Then the vegetables were exactly as you would expect from a deli. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again in the future. My food was decent enough and they had a reasonable sized menu and some other items I would give a try. read more

Small, affordable deli. They offer many breakfast items and sandwiches. One of the best cafe con leche in Key West. I ordered a cheese and ham omelet. It was darn fluffy and I loved it. You order at the counter, they bring your food, and you pay at the counter when you leave. It is a very local place. But they are super nice to everyone. This deli is just a couple blocks from my office, so it makes it really convenient when I cannot leave. Each time I've ordered from there. It's been very good. Today was especially good. I ordered the Cuban which is the number one on the menu for lunch and fries. The fries were a little sketchy. Having never been there before, I had to ask a few questions twice because she flat out ignored me and when she would answer she wouldn't hardly look at you. Found this place because it was a walkable breakfast spot from our VRBO. It was an amazing find! The breakfast sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had. I had the Boca Grande Breakfast sandwich (Two eggs, cheddar cheese and ham served on an English muffin). Everyone else had the bacon, egg, and cheese. All delicious! Definitely a locals spot. Good prices. Sounds like their known as a lunch spot, but the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. It was so good, we ordered sandwiches off the lunch menu for our scuba trip later in the day. They accommodated without hesitation despite operating off the breakfast menu (Almost felt like we weren't the first ones to ask for this). I'll update the review after lunch, but I don't anticipate the star rating will change. Just glad we found this place on our first morning. Lunch update: Delicious! As expected. I had the Roast Beef Duval Crawl (Choice of Roast Beef, Turkey or Half and Half with Crispy Bacon, Provolone Cheese, Drunken Mushrooms and Sprinkle of Parmeasan Cheese on Toasted Texas Bread with Dijon Mustard) and my wife had the Osprey (Turkey, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomatoes, and Onion Served on a Kaiser Roll with Honey Mustard Sauce). Stopped here on our way to Bahia State Park to get a sandwich. The service was not only friendly but super fast. We shared an Italian cold cut on ciabatta. Ingredients were plentiful and delicious. My husband and I stopped by on our way out of Key West. Located right as you turn on Rt I as you get ready to leave town. Small little place located in mini retail strip-Center. I ordered Sampler Breakfast for $7.99. It included one pancake, eggs (lots of them), three pieces of bacon and one round sausage patty. Pancake was large, fluffy and light-tasting. There were LOTS eggs in my scrambled eggs. Bacon was ok. I was stuffed and didn't eat the sausage patty. Staff is very nice and all work well together to service all customers. read more

One of the most pleasant travel experiences I ever had was at this little hole in the wall restaurant on the outskirts of Key West. I was running late for lunch and ducked in here just because it happened to be close, and I didn't feel like fighting the traffic and heading all the way onto the island. The service at this local restaurant was fast and the tuna salad was excellent, and I could tell it was a popular local haunt by the steady string of takeout orders that kept coming in. What made the meal for me, though, was when I went to pay for my meal and realized that they didn't take credit cards! I confessed to the owner, and he just laughed it off and pointed out an ATM machine down the street. I had withdrawn some cash and almost made it back to the restaurant when I realized that he hadn't even made me leave an ID as collateral. You just can't find that kind of service anymore, and especially not in Key West. I don't get down to the Keys much these days, but if that ever changes, at least I know where to get a good lunch at a fair price. read more

I have been living in Key West for over a year and by far this is my favorite place for breakfast. They have hands down the best prices and best service. My boyfriend and I come here so much that if we are calling for delivery we don't even have to tell them the address. Lunch here is also awesome. I love the garden salad with blacken chicken. We needed a lunch to-go and this place came up on Yelp. Stopped by, ordered some sandwiches and they were ready in a few minutes. The ladies working here were very friendly and did a great job of wrapping up the sandwiches so they didn't fall apart/leak/etc. I ordered my sandwich with avacados and they only let me know after we paid that they didn't have any, but I was offered to substitute something else in there.
