One of the best meals of our trip. Loved their lobster Thermidor, bananas foster, key lime pie, and shrimp cocktail. Service was excellent and we loved the old school ambiance.

This place is in a great location and it's very beautiful inside. We were here for a rehearsal dinner, there was about 30 of us. I thought the service was excellent and they handled the number of people well. The shrimp cocktail was amazing probably one of the best I've ever had! Both the salads were good, I thought it was a good portion sized considering we had a prefixed 4 courses! The filet was good but the asparagus was just ok same with the mashed potatoes. I thought the lobster tail was delicious though and it paired nicely with the rice and green beans! Both desserts were delicious and again amazing portions for a prefixed menu!!

I didn't come very hungry, and I wanted a salad and some seafood, so decided to get the scallop and the beet salad. The scallop was tasty, but it was literally one scallop with little caviar. And more than anything, the salad was disappointing by having almost no leaves, plus the amount of cheese was overkill and I couldn't finish it. I would have ordered more food, but waited so long just for the salad, I wasn't going to make people wait while I waited for something else. Food was fine, just a bit small for what you get. At least the views were fabulous.

Delightful experience dining at A&B Lobster House in Key West this week. Don't be fooled by the low rating, dragged down by old reviews! Beautiful location overlooking the marina in the Key West bight. Pavel was our waiter, did a fantastic job, helped us navigate the menu. Attentive but not intrusive! Dinner was excellent, cocktails followed by Pinot Grigio, grilled scallop with caviar, crab cakes, and triple-tail catch of the day, rare menu item ... all delicious! Great location, fine dining! Ambiance awesome. Highly recommend!

    Mutton Snapper special - delicious!

Delicious romantic dinner. I had the mutton snapper special which was one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. My husband had a great steak The service was great too! The speak easy was also cool for a post-dinner cocktail.

I like the service, ambience and the foods! We've been for our fist anniversary. I am glad my husband has choose this restaurant. I really enjoyed. I wish a bit more privilege because of our anniversary. Normally the restaurants always ask you 've been before and are celebrating anything tonight. They didn't but it's ok. In key west nowhere they ask this. We tryed lobster and nights speacial fresh fish Cobia. Tuna tataki and oyster half dozen And we took couple of martini. At the end profiterole was very nice but still I am thinking for cream brûlée Thank you guys! (I forget to our waitress name. Maaybe Gale or Galit?)

I came here for my 30th and 40th birthday dinner. I reserved a table outside about 30 days in advance to ensure I could sit where I wanted. I brought a group of friends with me this time and they all enjoyed the place too. I got the stone crab appetizer and the Caribbean lobster tail. It was fantastic. My husband arranged for a cake to be delivered here too and they served it to us and packed it back up. It was fantastic! Highly recommend!

We were two tables totalling 20+ people. We had 2 servers. Ousr was Michal. He was fabulous. This was the first restaurant that allowed us to split checks which was great especially when some people (us) ordered MP items. King Crab Legs were $127 for a pound. They were tender sweet and worth every penny. I started with an orange Cosmo which was made perfectly. (Light lime light cranberry) i had a Lobster Bisque soup which was yummy. The wedge salad portions were small but friends enjoyed it. For my main i ordered a single crab cake which to me was a bit dry but my hubby got the King Crab legs and he shared. My other friends got lobster risotto, filet mignon, and shrimp and scallops. We were all happily stuffed and had to skip out on dessert. The ambience is nice and I would definitely come back here.

We came on 11/11 for our wedding anniversary. Granted it was freezing out. We sat outside with heaters. They kept forgetting the bread but the food and wine were delicious.

this restaurant is right off the marina with a beautiful view tonight with a full moon so with Extra scenic our server Michael had the best recommendations and top-tier service, the food was savory and everything that was ordered came out to perfection. The price point is on a higher level, but if you're looking for a date night or a special occasion, definitely check it out.

Amazing food - seafood was so fresh and oysters were some of the best on the island. Highly recommend for amazing lobster, seafood and other freshly prepared food. Wonderful service and atmosphere. Great view of the yachts outside.

I asked a lot of people in Miami which restaurant I should go to in Key West if I only had one night there. They all said A&B! I am glad I went. We had amazing views and food. Everything was perfect from the inside, to the servers to the food. If I get a chance to go to Key West again I will go back her first.

From the moment we entered the restaurant to the long after time of our departure, she continuously greeted us with excitement, joined us in conversation, and even helped us capture moments in pictures. She really helped make this a memorable experience for us. Now to the food. So I have had Broils in multiple areas of the country. From Maraylamd, Texas and to the Low Country of Charlestin SC, but I have never had as tasty of Broil as I just had at the Yummy Crab in Key West Florida. I mean this place was absolutely amazing! The flavor of every piece of crab, corn, crawfish, shrimp, sasauge and potatoes in the dripping wet cajun sauce served in a bag to retain all that juice, flavor and aroma was all nearly too much to contain. So glad of all the wonderful places on the island we had to eat we chose this place. Thank you Jackie for your outstanding hospitality and service. You are amazing!

Well we're a big group we did get seating fairly fast beside them having to out tables together they weren't busy at all. The spice they had for the boil had a sweet taste might have been the premade seafood boil seasoning. Thats what it tasted like to me .Wasn't to my liking. Something was eh about it. The fried oysters had a but if a fishy taste no go. I know a lot of places weights the seafood but the portions when they came out it was more like they added more corn and potatoes. For the price definitely wasn't worth it.

A must visit in key west!…read more Reservations for outside I have heard sell out weeks in advance. We were able to get a reservation inside. I was a little bummed we didn't get to see the view, but the ambiance inside is lovely too. Their menus light up which was so helpful in a dark restaurant. Our server was super helpful and made some great recommendations. We tried a few different small plates to share and enjoyed a few cocktails. Absolutely love the desserts here. The bread pudding and key lime pie were to die for! Price wise this was a bit expensive but we paid comparable for less nice places in key west so I would say this is 100% worth a stop.

It was a beautiful evening, and we were seated with a lovely view of the waterfront. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we were happy we chose this restaurant. Food: I always enjoy when a restaurant offers a creative and inventive cocktail menu. I won't go into detail on each one, but they were all very good, especially the Spiced Old Fashioned. At our server's suggestion, we ordered a couple of plates of the Grilled Ciabatta Bread. The bread was nicely grilled, and the roasted garlic manchego butter made it especially delicious. I normally try not to fill up on bread, but this was absolutely worth it. We ordered an eclectic mix of small and large plates. Some of the standout dishes included the Lobster Mac and Cheese, Swordfish, and Crab Cake. The Brussels sprouts took top honors, perfectly roasted without being greasy, full of flavor, and complemented by a generous amount of bacon. The one disappointment was the Pork Shank Osso Buco. While it was tender, it was only warm and a bit underseasoned. It was good, but not great, especially for someone who enjoys pork shank dishes. We saved room for dessert, and they were all crowd pleasers. My personal favorite was the Cuban Bread Pudding. The Chocolate Pistachio Crème Brûlée was also unique and delicious. Service: We had reservations for 7:30 and were seated promptly. The hostess and our server did a great job of making us feel welcome. The entire two-hour meal was well paced, and we always felt attended to. I was especially impressed with the backlit menu portfolios. They made it easy to read in the evening without guests needing to use their phone flashlights, which was a thoughtful and effective use of technology. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they placed a sign on the table acknowledging the occasion, which was a nice touch. It would have been even better if one of the desserts had included a lit candle. Atmosphere: The setting is beautiful. We were seated in a smaller dining room with several other tables. When we first arrived, there was a larger, very boisterous group nearby, and it made it difficult to hear our server. Fortunately, they left about 30 minutes into our meal, and the atmosphere became much more relaxed and enjoyable. Our waterfront view added to the experience. This was a very special evening. It was also the most expensive meal we had in Key West, so it was reasonable to have high expectations. With a few improvements, it could have been a five-star experience. Definitely a place we would return to.
