Well imagine my surprise when I go to write a review complaining about this "company" and I find that the only preexisting review is an unquestionably negative one. Not a redeeming characteristic in sight. Where I live, like most cities and towns, we have noise ordinances relating to what times of day loud equipment may be used. I hired Alberto and his crew as a random pick from a search engine. I should have known it was too good to be true. More often than not, you get what your pay for. Regrettably, this has proved to be another such instance. Not a single thing about this round little fella isn't shady. He even looks like he would scam you but I digress. Circling back to the noise ordinance violation(s). Aztec Tree Service knew I would not be home until afternoon on the date when they we're scheduled to work on my property. Naturally this little conman took that as a sign to start unreasonably early in the morning. I only found out about this because my [very unhappy] neighbors told me what had happened. But wait there's more! Not only did Aztec Tree Services start earlier than allowed, they also littered. It wasn't just your standard trash either. I found what appeared to be the remnants of multiple marijuana cigarettes on my property. I don't do drugs, no one who lives here does drugs. No evidence of drug use was present before Aztec Tree Services arrived, draw your own conclusions on that one. Additionally, I found empty beer bottles in my garbage cans following their visit. I can only assume that at least one, if not multiple persons employed by Alberto of Aztec Tree Services were operating heavy machinery, climbing trees, and eventually driving while severely under the influence of illicit substances. Not that anything would excuse such blatant disregard for safety and the law but they aren't exactly drunken master craftsmen. I could have hired illegals from the Home Depot parking lot and they would have done a better job. I suspect the day laborers would have entirely removed the tree stump, including below the surface. Aztec Tree Services merely cut a stump extremely low. You get what you pay for these days. I cannot in good faith recommend Aztec Tree Services. Not only will you never hear back from Alberto after he has received your money but the quality of his "company's" workmanship is severely below par to begin with. Save yourself the money. Save yourself the upset neighbors. Save yourself from having to hire for the same job twice. Call a fully licensed, insured, and legal professional service instead. read more

Highly recommended Alberto and his team (Juan is a great help also) for tree removal service. Aztec Tree Service helped me remove a very BIG tree which grows too close to my house (less than 3 feet from the wall and the fence) in 2 days. Quick and efficient job with GREAT PRICE. Aztec Tree Service provided great service. We had a palm tree cut down. They were so understanding. We have a pool therefore there was no way to avoid getting trimmings in pool.
