I have gotten an estimate from Mardrel at Franco Tree Service last week. He gave me a quote (in writing) for my tree removal service. It was a quick and easy job (just a small tree). Then when I call to make an appointment to proceed with the removal a day later, they simply ignore me - no response or a simple explanation. Second time using Franco. The crew did a really good job. Thorough, pleasant, good clean-up. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. I expected Franco would be on-site throughout the job, or at least come over to look at it before the crew finished. Instead, he indicated he had some other potential jobs to look at and left after discussing what he wanted with his crew. While it seems like they did a good job on the tree-thinning, I am not an expert so I am not sure. It would have been nice to have Franco here to sign off. These guys were fantastic! Showed up the next day after I contacted them to come out and give me a quote to remove a huge Monterey cypress from our yard. Their quote not only included removing the tree, but taking all the wood (we didn't want to keep any as firewood) AND removing entire stump, and was still cheaper than other quotes.
