This is the first time we used JC Tree. I quote 3 companies and the price varied a lot. I chose JC Tree due to their reasonable price and good reviews. We are very satisfied with their work. Our front yard and back yard looked so different. They completed the work quickly and they cleaned up everything before they left. read more

Javier from JC Tree Experts came to give us a quote on pruning two citrus tress. We were impressed by his professionalism and clear knowledge of the task at hand. Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. They did a great job on the trees, cleaned up all the debris completely, and even used a blower to make sure they didn't miss anything. I wholeheartedly recommend JC Tree Experts. They simply could not have done a better job! read more

Update: and this is exactly why I wait to post reviews where I feel customer service is lacking. The owner tracked down my personal number from a 2024 service record to text me and challenge this review. This is exactly why I waited to post--I find this level of monitoring and personal contact highly invasive and unprofessional. Hired this company to remove a tree. First of all, I know it's a very demanding business and risky at that. And things come up all the time, but what is unacceptable is accountability. I had an appointment and the day of the person was nowhere to be seen. I could not get a hold of Xavier. He finally responded after numerous calls. I have several friends in this business and they said that they at least apologize when they over schedule and things come up. Again, I understand this. But at least apologize for the lack of communication. An apology goes a long way! read more

Our Satsuma tree started to buckle due to the crop volume this year. In hindsight, we didn't properly prune it in anticipation for the season, but I asked JC Tree experts to do what they could to save the tree and this year's crop, and they did! It's a pleasure to have Javier Sr come out -- prompt, friendly, listened carefully to what I wanted, and did the job well. I'm sure there are a lot of very qualified arborists in the area, but these guys are traditionalists -- it's all about word of mouth, letting their work and reputation speak for itself, and building genuine customer relations. I plan to hire them again to help with next year's crop. read more

I had a great experience with JC Tree Experts. JC was prompt, professional, and took the time to come out to my house to assess the job before the work started. What really impressed me was that he came back afterward to inspect everything himself and make sure his crew had done the job right. That level of customer service and accountability is hard to find. He also took the time to help me inject nutrients into the soil around my tree to give it the best chance to stay healthy and flourish. I really appreciated him going the extra mile and explaining what my tree needed. JC Tree Experts did an outstanding job, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable, and reliable tree service. read more

Quote was quick, service was quick, great communication, worked done clean. Punctual, trees are trimmed not completely clipped so they are not stunted for the next year. They did a job for me last year and this year I recommended for my family and great both time. Called them back again to do some cleanup before big storm season, they always clean up (wood chipper and haul away) after which is awesome so I don't have piles and piles on the street until trash pick up day. read more

Javier Jr. provide the quote quickly with a good price. Javier Sr. shows up earlier than the appointment time and walks through the items need to be done in every detail. This really makes me feel good as a sign they respect their customer. Javier family and their crew are polite , respectful and professional. I had a tree in my backyard that hadn't been trimmed or cut in over a decade -- it had grown to about 25 feet tall and was getting out of control. JC came out to assess the type of tree and scope of work. As a certified arborist, he was clearly knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done. He also provided a certificate of insurance, which was reassuring, especially since the tree is shared with my neighbor, who requested that documentation. The price was a great value for the quality of work. On the scheduled day, a team of three arrived and gave the tree a proper "haircut" -- they carefully trimmed the crown, pruned dense areas, and removed tall branches. Knowing the tree tends to grow tall, they avoided just cutting the top (which can be harmful) and instead removed full child branches to keep it healthy. The work was thoughtful, professional, and efficient. I'm very happy with the results! read more

-- January 2026 Second time update -- Two years ago, we had the willow tree in my neighbor's yard pruned because it was dangerously overhanging our house's electrical service lines. The work was excellent and we were very satisfied. Two years later, the tree had grown back in the same way, and during a storm, two large branches broke off and fell into our yard. Since the branches were again overhanging the service lines, I contacted Javier again. He understood that we couldn't spend a large amount of money on regularly pruning neighbor's tree, and he gave us a reasonable price. The team did a very professional excellent job again. We will contact Javier whenever we need tree pruning services in the future. This company is meticulous and professional, and their estimate was better than other companies. I confidently recommend them. read more

JC Tree Experts is the company to call if you need a report from a certified arborist and then masterful, safe and careful execution removing a problematic tree. Ours was a very tall (~130ft), dead redwood 3.5ft from my house that had already broke off the top 1/3 in a windstorm. It was a dangerous situation and the team handled it carefully and courageously. JC Tree Experts - Finished removal, planting, and pruning works - Tree Services Near Me

I worked with Javier last month to remove some trees that were crowding out other plants in my backyard. I'm very satisfied with their service. - Javier inspected the trees and went through the process with me. He also went over the potential permit requirements (I needed none) - He also helped inspected other trees that potentially needed service/removal. I had a giant redwood tree that is aging and he recommended removal, although I did not choose so this time. - Javier's crew arrived on time and finished the work promptly. They're very friendly and make every effort to avoid damages to my yard (trees being removed are on a raised bed close to fences). They restored most of the flowers / plants that were in their way for the grinder. - Price is reasonable, lower than other services I used in the past for the same home. Overall I am satisfied with their service and will recommend considering JC's service if you have a need. read more

JC Tree Experts are exactly that and more. They came out and assessed the work I wanted done to the massive plumb trees in my front yard and agreed to an aggressive reduction in height and a trim on the sides so that it would hang over my neighbor's roof. They arrived on the scheduled day and started working on the trees, but I had to leave for work, so they were on their own. When I saw the completed work, I noticed that the plumb trees were trimmed but still the same height as before. I reached out to Javiar and asked if there was some confusion about what was discussed, and he got back to a few moments later and said his team would be out same day or possibly the next day to rectify the issue. That same day his team came back out and in about 15 minutes had the trees looking exactly how I wanted. I like how Javier explained to me why they trimmed the in that fashion as to promote the health of the tree and that aggressive trimming might not be the best plan of action to keep growth under control but ultimately said it's your call and we will do what you want. Overall, I would be fine with using their services again as they are fast and have great customer service. read more

We've hired Javier and his crew three times to take care of tree trimming and tree removal at our property. They've trimmed palm trees, elm trees, and removed Cypress trees. JC was very helpful in coming out to give an estimate, and very prompt in their service. They trimmed our trees as we needed very well.

I changed my review to 5 *. JC Tree Experts did an excellent job on my project considering I had to postpone the starting date of the project two times due to the rain. When the third time came I was not sure they would show up. But they did with senior Javier and 5 other staffs. They worked for several hours to finish the job. When they finished they did not even ask to be paid. Next day Javier senior came saying that one of the staffs said I was not happy with some of the braches. He said they will fix it. To my surprise the next day it was already fixed. I highly recommend JC Tree Experts. The price was reasonable, staffs were professional, most of all, they stood by their words. I will hire them without any hesitation. Thank you so much Javier senior and Javier. read more

Our elementary school garden club was on the hunt for free mulch to keep the weeds and burrs at bay in our large space. We are volunteer run and have no actual budget but we want to make this a nice space for the kids to visit when they want. I reached out to 5 "free delivery, free mulch" posts on fb marketplace and to be honest I thought for sure they would be scams. JC responded promptly and was easy to coordinate with for the delivery. His guy just dumped the HUGE pile right where we asked him to and we could not be happier. It is a mix of leaves, wood, and some flowers. It smells heavenly! This is surely the first delivery from them of many more. Thank you JC Tree Experts, you ROCK!! We consider you now an official sponsor of our Garden Familia in Campbell :-D read more
