Javier from JC Tree Experts came to give us a quote on pruning two citrus tress. We were impressed by his professionalism and clear knowledge of the task at hand. Of all the companies that provided quotes, JC Tree Experts was the most detailed. Some simply scribbled a price on their business card, but JC Tree Experts emailed a detailed quote explaining exactly what work was included, debris hauled away, etc., photos of the trees to be worked on, arborist certification, and even their insurance certificate as evidence that the company and their employees were covered in the event of accident or injury on our property. This was by far more than any other company provided, and it was a clear indication of their level of professionalism. Theirs was not the lowest quote, but was much more reasonable than some. They arrived as scheduled to do the work - in fact, a little early. It was a large crew with two large trucks and a wood chipper. The crew confirmed the expectations with us and set to work. They were all cheerful and friendly, but worked quite efficiently, completing the work in less than an hour. They did a great job on the trees, cleaned up all the debris completely, and even used a blower to make sure they didn't miss anything. I wholeheartedly recommend JC Tree Experts. Update: and this is exactly why I wait to post reviews where I feel customer service is lacking. The owner tracked down my personal number from a 2024 service record to text me and challenge this review. This is exactly why I waited to post--I find this level of monitoring and personal contact highly invasive and unprofessional. Hired this company to remove a tree. First of all, I know it's a very demanding business and risky at that. And things come up all the time, but what is unacceptable is accountability. I had an appointment and the day of the person was nowhere to be seen. I could not get a hold of Xavier. He finally responded after numerous calls. I have several friends in this business and they said that they at least apologize when they over schedule and things come up. Again, I understand this. But at least apologize for the lack of communication. An apology goes a long way! read more

JC Tree Experts are exactly that and more. They came out and assessed the work I wanted done to the massive plumb trees in my front yard and agreed to an aggressive reduction in height and a trim on the sides so that it would hang over my neighbor's roof. They arrived on the scheduled day and started working on the trees, but I had to leave for work, so they were on their own. When I saw the completed work, I noticed that the plumb trees were trimmed but still the same height as before. I reached out to Javiar and asked if there was some confusion about what was discussed, and he got back to a few moments later and said his team would be out same day or possibly the next day to rectify the issue. That same day his team came back out and in about 15 minutes had the trees looking exactly how I wanted. I like how Javier explained to me why they trimmed the in that fashion as to promote the health of the tree and that aggressive trimming might not be the best plan of action to keep growth under control but ultimately said it's your call and we will do what you want. Overall, I would be fine with using their services again as they are fast and have great customer service. read more

-- January 2026 Second time update -- Two years ago, we had the willow tree in my neighbor's yard pruned because it was dangerously overhanging our house's electrical service lines. The work was excellent and we were very satisfied. Two years later, the tree had grown back in the same way, and during a storm, two large branches broke off and fell into our yard. Since the branches were again overhanging the service lines, I contacted Javier again. He understood that we couldn't spend a large amount of money on regularly pruning neighbor's tree, and he gave us a reasonable price. The team did a very professional excellent job again. They keep me updated with prompt communication. I take pictures of the job site and he was able to give me a price quote. After I accept the price they came out the next day and finished the job. When the third time came I was not sure they would show up. But they did with senior Javier and 5 other staffs. They worked for several hours to finish the job. When they finished they did not even ask to be paid. Next day Javier senior came saying that one of the staffs said I was not happy with some of the braches. He said they will fix it.
