I initially spoke with Andrew, the owner, to schedule 3 movers for 4 hours with a start time of around 8 a.m. on a Wednesday. Right at 8, Andrew personally called to let me know they had run into a Murphy's Law kind of morning--the kind every mover dreads. But what impressed me most was his honesty and professionalism. A couple hours later, Andrew arrived himself with three additional crew members (including him) to ensure we were treated right. He took full ownership and went above and beyond to make the experience right. The team was hard-working, professional, and incredibly detail-oriented. They didn't cut corners, didn't stop to take breaks, and packed everything up securely, neatly, and snug. We unexpectedly needed an extra UBox from U-Haul, and Andrew didn't just suggest a solution--he drove me to U-Haul himself, picked up the pod, and after the move was done, personally returned the extra pod back to U-Haul. They worked well beyond the originally planned 4 hours without hesitation, and not once did I feel like I was being upcharged or pressured. Andrew's customer-first approach, integrity, and attention to detail turned what could have been a stressful move into a great memory. As a fellow business owner, I know what it means when someone steps up under pressure, and Andrew did exactly that. Moved from Los Angeles to Scottsdale. Needed help at the last minute to unload belongings into storage and reached out to Andrew through Yelp. My concern is always worried that people won't handle my items with care because I've had some horrible experiences But seconds into the move that concern diminished as Andrew and his team began to offload my moving truck using there equipment and skills to navigate items off of the truck with ease. He and his crew showed up on time and ready to work. Even on this 119 degree day they did not miss a beat. Handled my belongings with care and the whole while being courteous and professional. Absolutely atrocious. We were planning to use them again for another move and left a voicemail with no response. Then reached out through Yelp and had gotten a quote on 9/25, responded 9/26 and heard nothing to confirm. Called them four days later, he acted like something was wrong with the phone or like I hadn't responded appropriately (requesting an email?) and said the time slot was booked. I've met the owner in person, paid and tipped graciously, given him my business, and went so far as to write a kind review. Now, as a repeat customer to be treated like that is so beyond disgusting. There's a million movers in the Valley, skip these guys. ***edited to update: Andrew has since updated his response twice so clearly business is affected (as it should be) by the very truthful reviews and he is bored. This could have all been avoided if he had just said "I apologize but our system doesn't link. I no longer have the time you requested but I do have another time". We used AZ Valley Movers to relocate from Fountain Hills to San Antonio. I spoke with the owner, Andrew, whenever I called. They did exactly what they said they'd do. I chose them because they had an A+ BBB rating and they were A+. They came and wrapped every piece of furniture well after disassembling what was needed. They packed the truck according to a specific plan, without an inch of wasted space. They delivered it to TX 36 hours later, as planned. Andrew was with with his excellent crew on loading and unpacking. Nothing was damaged in any way, they set every box in the correct room, they put the furniture back together correctly, and they even put my Christmas boxes in the attic. Their motto was to do everything as you would want someone to do it for your own family. Andrew spoke kindly to his crew, thanking them often for their task. Everything was done extremely well from start to finish. No added costs, on time, no damage - all of which one wants in a move. read more

Great group of guys, really came through to help me unload my moving truck. Friendly & carful they stayed until everything was completed.

I would give zero stars if possible. They arrived an hour late with a bad attitude. Then told us they were going to charge an additional $200 for a dresser because it was too heavy. The lead guy then just threw a fit - said he would not do our move. They left us with a U-Haul and no movers. Most unprofessional crew I've ever seen. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I cannot believe how good he is at his job. It takes years of experience to do as well of a job and he hit the nail on the head for sure. This is hands down one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with in my life. With almost 20 years customer service I know how customers should be treated and this company does nothing customer friendly. I had a scheduled move from between 12-2pm and then at 2pm nothing. I call and am told an hour and they will be otw that they were running behind which is understandable. I call back an hour later and am told another hour. After 4 times being told another hour this time it wasn't accepted. 4 hours late is not acceptable. What happens though? The associate named Andrew says ooh sounds like you're to frustrated find another company and hangs up. After sitting for 5 hours waiting for them to be in their way to have them cancel is hands down the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. Don't use this company and if you do and get Andrew on the phone make sure to ask for a manger if you don't want the run around and end up in the same situation as me. ***Update*** Very funny comment the gentleman put bellow. That is entirely untrue. When I called originally to set up the time and was told that time frame, I told him that my truck rental was for the morning and was needing to be returned by then and that it wouldn't work that I needed it at noon. He said don't worry we'll squeeze you in before hand so we proceeded with the booking. It wasn't until the very end of the day of my scheduled move that he decided to revert back to saying that he said we couldn't be there until 3pm when we spoke originally. That's fine, I would have had to cancel then the night of the booking. Instead he choose to draw it out all day and lie flat out to me knowing very well, which he is admitting now too, that he was not able to make it during my truck rental window. This caused me to have to return the truck, because at that point in the night it was too late to get another company. The next day I then had to deal with finding a new truck rental, last minute mind you so it wasn't easy, and then book another moving company. In the end I had to pay so much more due to his lack of customer support and care. That is not proper business procedure and doesn't show any level of customer first mentality. All that was cared about was keeping the job. Even now, instead of making any attempt to rectify the situation after this negative review, he decided to try and explain himself and slander the customer. VERY VERY Unprofessional but now you folks get to see first hand how he feels about his customers and how he thinks it's okay to handle a business in the customer service industry. read more

I hired AZ Valley movers in late October to help move into my new apartment, the service ever received was anything other than what was promised I was overcharged under delivered and scammed. The business agent Michael Rodriguez had promised me a fair price for a great service. There was nothing great about it.. I would never use this company again. the moving process should've taken between four and and 66 hours, and it took 12 causing me to get a complaint from my HOA, my belongings were thrown about my driveway. Anything they did not want to pack up they threw in the garbage fortunately I was able to retrieve them the next day. Jewelry has gone missing from my jewelry box that is forever, gone and unplaceable. The service I received was horrendous. I reached out to the business agent Michael Rodriguez and he cursed me out and hung up the phone. I told Mr. Rodriguez what I wanted. Instead, he lied to me about making it right, and he refused to answer my phone calls since. I've left many reviews and will continue to do so, until Mr. Rodriguez does the right thing You can expect to rob people and stay in business which is exactly what he did here. Had my move done at the end of May, the move was good and things didn't damage. one thing I want to bring up is that their team arrived a little late, but the person who is in-charge was always responsive and able to provide the update. Mostly after hours people won't pick up the call, but his team picked the call and always gave an update. I must appreciate that his team did a good job. read more

Originally, UHAUL was supposed to help deliver and pick up my U-BOX needed for moving but we're unable to with their scheduled routes for the day. As a result, Andrew was able to step in and own the process of delivering and picking up my U-BOX. Super friendly and communicative, arriving within the scheduled times provided. This moving company is top notch. My husband and I moved from Austin, Tx to the Phoenix area. It was a stressful move because so many things went wrong during the move. My husband and I unloaded a 20 foot uhaul and a quarter of a 26 foot uhaul. We didn't want to or have the energy to unload anymore but the trucks had to be returned the next day. I called AZ Valley Movers to get a quote and see if they could help unload the rest of the uhaul for us. It was late in the afternoon when I called. So I wasn't sure if they would be able to help. But they were able to fit us in their schedule. Which was a big relief. It did cost extra since we were just outside their service area. Which was okay since we really needed the help. We paid for two movers and they sent three. It was a nice surprise and very helpful. The three guys that they sent were Andrew, Nick, Justin. They were all wonderful. They listened to us and were careful unloading everything. They were able to get everything unloaded in the time frame that we paid for. Luckily they sent three guys because I think we would have ran out of time if not. I highly recommend this company and these three professional movers. We had a ton of items to fit in one truck and they made it happen! They also were very easy to get a hold of from booking to eta. However, they were very late on the first day (arrived hours after the original stated window) and about 2 hours late the second day. Impressed with Andrew's commitment to customer service and getting the job done. Long story short - he took initiative to hold Uhaul accountable for their delays and ensure that my Ubox was delivered and unloaded on time, when he easily could have rescheduled the delivery at no fault of his own. Kept me updated and picked up right away whenever I called. He and his partner showed up with a great attitude (after what sounded like had already been a 16 hour day) and were efficient and professional. I recommend checking them out. read more
