They sent two guys with a Budget rental truck and they immediately broke a leg on a small desk. They loaded the truck so poorly with no wrapping or cushioning at all, that all my new wood furniture was damaged and the back corners of the sofa were ripped off. I repeatedly asked them to wrap the furniture, the lead driver Kahil refused and was unbelievably rude. The other guy was on his first day and was much more careful and polite. The move was very small with one bedroom, a desk and file cabinet, a small family room, a dining room table with chairs, a kitchen table with chairs, 10 boxes and some patio furniture. Nothing was loaded like professional movers, just throwing it into the truck in one layer, stacking wood stuff right against the trailer walls. Aa a result it took them two trips with damages to many pieces of furniture. Kahil told me and his boss that we had a 4 bedroom house which is why it took so long. Really? It was a small house in Sun City with an empty living room and empty bedroom and it was almost $600 for this move. The owner Tom Outman said that I lied about everything, that it was just flaking varnish and that the furniture was already damaged. It was new furniture never moved before. He promised a refund of $120, which was never done. He has blocked his number so I cannot reach him and he removes bad reviews from social media as soon aa they are posted. This is a very unreliable business that provides untrained and rude staff. Do NOT believe any of the positive reviews and do yourself a favor. They made sure everything was secure and protected, nothing was scratched, dented or broken. Unfortunately his business practices left me with no choice. I decided to hire Priority One to help with my move after learning more about Brandon's inspirational story. He started his own local company after his daughter was born a few years ago. Brandon was professional to work with along with the two kind gentleman he sent to my apartment to help with the actual move, hence the 2 stars. The two guys were hard working as they moved all of my belongings from my apartment, to/from the moving truck, and into my new house. They even removed my three TVs from the wall including the mounts which was very convenient. However, I regret not turning on the TVs immediately after they were moved to my new house! This was a very expensive and hard lesson to learn because I splurged on my 65" Sony Smart TV last year for ~$2500. I turned on the TV expecting to watch a movie a few days after the move, only to see the entire screen RUINED! I immediately called Best Buy because the TV was less than a year old, and there was faint hope that they could help. I updated Brandon via text message and he responded with concern and seemed willing to work with me towards a fair resolution. Best Buy's technicians arrived a few days later who informed me that the TV is a total loss, because the screen was ruined due to impact with an object while in the moving truck. Brandon screens his calls and refused to answer any of my multiple phone calls since. The Best Buy technician even tried calling and left a message explaining how and why the TV is a total loss. I tried calling Brandon every day for a few days with no luck, which is quite unfortunate because his business has so much potential! I want to support Priority One, but I simply can't because now I have a large paper weight with no recourse for a fair resolution. Thanks for moving my stuff, I guess.
