Giving Quality Overhead Door Inc 4 stars since they completed the primary objective in making it possible to now use a universal bottom door seal rather than a proprietary hard to get Amore Seal. However, 1 star was lost over a laps of "ATTENTION TO DETAIL" in the quotation and finishing the job which may likely result in me taking follow on business elsewhere. 1) The quotation was incorrectly done which was not discovered untill after the job was done and resulted in more money. (I had two doors not one.) Yet they had materials for 2. 2) The material quote was per sq-ft rather than linear foot. Funny I know but that is either someone that doesn't know what they are doing or pure carelessness. I should have held them to sq-ft for a fraction of the price. 3) Left before adjusting the door top panel spacing leaving a gap I could slip my finger between from inside to outside. 4) I asked about replacing the door side and top seal but was told it wasnt necessary. Then after they came back out to adjust the door, it became evident that it needed to be replace to seal the door. This results in yet another $85 service call to replace when it should had been done on the 1st call. 5) Over $300 just to replace the vinyl strip seals around both doors with $100 just to remove the existing, I think not. Obviously the 2nd service call is wrapped up in there someplace and the materials marked up about 2x from what I could by them for. I do not recommend their services. I have used them in the past. Today, the spring broke on my garage door. I gave them a call and was only able to leave a message. For some reason, they did not follow the directions on my message and call my cell. They called my house and spoke with my son who really did not know what was going on. They told him that they could not come out for several days. Not having heard anything, I contacted Same Day garage door services who were able to do a same day service repair. read more

I used Quality Overhead Door 7 years prior to install a new garage door opener on our single car garage and lube and tune both the single and double car garage doors. Fast forward to July 2, 2020, a spring on our double car garage broke. Planning on going with what I thought was a known quantity, I found the receipt from 7 years back and called Quality Overhead Door to replace the springs on the double car garage. The technician arrived and took a brief look at the double car garage, went out to his truck, returned and said he would get started. A long two hours later the springs were replaced. Fast forward to the end of September, 2020 and the double car garage door opener drive sprocket snapped off the motor. I chalked it up to the opener being older. I replaced the double car garage door opener with a new Chamberlin opener. During the install I noticed that garage door would not stay open by itself when not attached to the opener track. Being more interested in getting the new opener installed, I figured I'd have that issue looked at later. The new garage door opener was installed without issue and the door not staying opened on its own slipped my mind. Fast forward to November 13, 2020... the garage door would not open. Upon inspection I discovered one of the springs replaced by Quality Overhead Door in July 2020 had broken. Very unusual for certain. I called Quality Overhead Door and they indicated they could not be out for 4 days (called on a Friday @ 02:00 PM). Reluctantly, I accepted the appointment for 4 days out. Being a bit miffed that Quality Overhead Door would not prioritize a current customer issue, I started thinking about the situation and other options. I began considering why a new spring would break. I thought back to the day the technician installed the new springs. The technician mention something about not being sure if he had the correct springs. He disappeared for a moment to his truck and returned indicating he was good to go. I decided to investigate the broken spring installation. I noted that the new springs that had been installed by Quality Overhead Door were much shorter than the previous springs. There were hold down screw indents in the door roller rod from the old springs. Those old dents were out 12 inches further on the right side and 16 inches further out on the left side. Immediately I realized that technician from Quality Overhead Door installed improper springs for this double car garage door. They were WAY TOO SMALL to handle the load. Why did the technician do this? Surely he noticed the garage door would not stay open after he installed these improper springs? Best guess... the technician was too lazy to go and get the proper springs for the job or Quality Overhead Door could not keep adequate stock of parts. I decided it was in my interest to find and hire another company to come out to evaluate the situation after realizing that this was a botched installation by Quality Overhead Door. On Friday November 13th, at 04:00 PM I reached out to another garage door company (Same Day Garage Door Services) that had good ratings and looked reputable. They indicated they could have a technician over that night between 06:00 - 08:00 PM. I agreed. The Same Day Garage Door Services technician arrived in the specified window and evaluated the situation. He weighed the door and indicated that the installed springs were WAY TOO small for this door. He also indicated that the left spring was a 21 inch spring and right spring was a 24 inch spring. The Quality Overhead Door technician had not installed a matched spring set. I gave the technician from Same Day Garage Door Services the go ahead to proceed with installing new springs and lubing the door. Fifty minutes later, the technician had completed the job. He showed me that the door now stayed up on its own when not attached to the opener track. He then connected the door to the opener track and ensured the opener properly opened and closed the door. The price for the install from Same Day Garage Door Services was $50 dollars less than what Quality Overhead Door charged for the botched spring installation. It is clear that Quality Overhead Door is not the same "quality" company from 7 years ago. Considering Quality Overhead Door scheduling times are in days instead of hours and technicians don't have the proper parts in stock certainly raises red flags. Hopefully my experience can help others stay clear of Quality Overhead Door. read more

Got a text yesterday to confirm install and surprise surprise, nobody showed up. Never bothered to yell us they were not coming either, wife had to call. Trash company, go elsewhere. read more

Do your research.Had a great tech come out, only issue was he was one guy with a little blonde as his helper.She didn't work for Quality but was helping the technician. I had heavy wood doors ordered and they took 2 days to put In since it was just the 2 of them.They did great and worked their asses off & it didnt look easy to lift them off the truck. Meanwhile the office manager never answered ANY of my calls. Poor guy was the only employee and the girl wasn't even on payroll just helping her husband out.In the end the doors looked great but I won't call them to do anything else.I did Try to get the tech to do work on the side and he declined,preferring I call the office to schedule future jobs only joni avoids all my calls. They had scheduled another door for them to install after my home but I don't see how it was possible for him to get everything done. They stayed until after 8pm finishing up. I'm going to contact the guy & see if he changed his mind to have the openers put In on my other propertys. Side note: Company used to be called Valley doors but didn't pay their distribution companys so they changed the name and he sold it to his daughter as quality. Do your research. read more

What a great experience. When my garage door opener was stolen, I couldn't get into my garage to see if anything had been taken. Items that had belonged to my mother were in there and I was near tears. The owner of All Valley Garage (Bill) walked me through the steps over the phone of how to get in and reprogram the door so no one could come back and steal more. He then made sure that I got the CORRECT opener (something The big box stores couldn't do) and ensured everything was set. Even though this was a tiny "job" I was treated like it was as important to them as it was to me. Not only are the products and service better then big chains, the prices are too. I requested bids from four companies listed on Amarr.com for the same make/model door. Responses varied between companies for price and lead time. I decided to get a fifth bid from Quality Overhead Door. Quality Overhead Door stood out in several ways. Joani's response to my request was prompt and I received a quote in two hours. The quote was fairly priced, clear and concise with no upsells. The next morning a quick measurement appointment was completed and Monday morning install scheduled. Brent arrived on time with all the materials needed. He was extremely well organized and installation was completed with time to spare. A follow up call for a question was promptly answered. We opened the garage door yesterday and it starting falling off the rollers - both sides top and bottom. I called a number of companies and all came out to give me estimates. The prices started going down and the door quality went up as the day went on with company estimates. I decided on the door but was torn between two companies (the only two I would deal with). All Valley was the other company I would deal with. I am glad I do not need two garage doors, but I feel bad that I could not split the business. This is an honest company that I would also highly recommend - only two in the valley. read more

RIP OFFS!!! Called for service. When the "SALESMAN" got there the bill ended up being almost 3 times the other quotes I had gotten!

I had requested a call prior to their arrival cause I had an appointment. They never called and just showed up. I had high efficiency bulbs in the old opener that I had told the installer I wanted to use in the new one. Well apparently one broke while screwing it and instead of telling me just threw it in my garbage can. I probably wouldn't be writing this if he would have just told me. When I noticed the bulb was missing I called the office to tell them and the woman preceded to tell me that their staff doesn't intentionally try to break things. I obviously realize this. During the conversation she never once offered to replace it or apologise. I am new to the area and will never use them again or recommend them and I do real estate rehab as my profession and am always on the look out for good companies to deal with. I will not deal with them again after how they treated me and tried to deceive me. read more

All Valley Garage Door was a subcontractor for Home Depot. I plan to never have contact with the office ever again. Joanie at first was nice and friendly but that changed when I had a few complained about our install. The installer spoke primarily Spanish. That not too back but he could,not communicate very good to explain how to add code to box used to open the door. He also did,not tell us he had left the warranty and instructions on a counter in the garage. I called the office and they did,not have a answer. Four days later we accidentally located the warranty on the counter. Blank envelop with no explanation what was inside. A little frustrating. Then the installer while installing the door made two major scrape marks on the wood part of the outside trim. It took me weeks to get this resolved through Home Depot since the installer and All Valley Garage Door pretty well refused to help us out with problem. They said once we had the paint (which Home Depot gave to us) they would paint. Once I got the paint the color was slightly different from the paint on the trim. They said they would only paint the scratched parts. Refused to paint the whole trim. I am disabled and have a very bad back. Because they refused to paint the whole trim I had to go out and paint the trim. It was not a very large part to paint but with my health it was very painful. The store owner was very rude to me also and just said he already knew everything since his daughter had told him. He was very intimidating to talk to him. In fact our conversation was no more than one minute as I hung up on the rude guy. He would not listen. If it had not been Home Depot support and willingness to help with the problem I would still be sitting here without the small area being painted. ALL VALLEY GARAGE DOOR'S customer service STINKS BIG TIME. If there is anyway not to use them later on for warranty I will do so. I am very upset and not happy with their attitude. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR REPAIRS!!! They are RIP OFF artists! My daughter called them to replace the torsion springs (normally a job that costs less than $250). By the time they were done the bill was $499.77! Among other things they said her cables needed to be replaced and they added $119.00.( A set of 7ft. cables cost $7.99) In fact the retail on all the parts if you bought them yourself would be less than $90.00. My daughter is a young wife with 2 children living on a single income. They had her in tears! In fact the door was not working the next day and she was afraid to call them for warranty work because she thought they might try to say something else was wrong and add additional charges. They were even rude to her when she did call them. I spoke to Nate and voiced my displeasure with their tactics. Their only explanation was that they had to raise their service prices because construction demand for new door sales were down.
