Ethan answered my call outside of traditional business hours and was super clear with his estimate and details.

For the past decades I've lived in the Valley we've always used Two Men and A Truck when we move…read moreand they do a perfectly fine job. This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

This review is a little overdue, but I had to give this company a shoutout for the amazing work…read morethey do. I also appreciate the mission behind their organization, and I highly recommend checking out their website to learn more. It's pretty awesome what they're doing. Scheduling was incredibly easy, and the entire process was stress free. The team was fast, friendly, professional, and took great care of my furniture. They also helped transport my belongings from Tucson to Phoenix, which was affordable and made the move so much easier. A special shoutout to my movers, Matt B., Aaron, and Johnny Y. Those guys were fantastic. They worked quickly, showed up on time, handled my belongings with care, and made the entire move completely stress free. If you're looking for a reliable moving company, I highly recommend giving these guys a call.

Even if you're already packed, they come prepared with extra boxes, wrapping, and anything you might need for those last‑minute items or unexpected loose pieces. That alone took so much pressure off. I also know being in someone's personal items can be a lot, and they handled everything with so much respect and care. Since everything was already packed up and I didn't even have water to offer during the move, I made sure to grab them Starbucks once we arrived, and it definitely hit the spot. This is one of the ways I can say THANK YOU! Super friendly, on time, and ready to go from the moment they arrived. What should've been a four‑hour move was done in three. I highly recommend Academy Movers for your next move, and after this experience, they've earned a client for life. A++++++ -J

I haven't paid for mover in ages and found the search for quality movers overwhelming…read more Ages ago I used a large competitor that lied and stole my stuff, needless yo say I was less than enthusiastic about trusting another company. Regardless, I took to my local FB group and Pearson came highly recommended on multiple occasions. The two young men were beyond professional, courteous, aware, respectful, they communicated well and timely, I'd say that Pearson Movers customer service completely redeemed my faith in movers, but now I'm partial and bias to them. I can't say it's the cheapest company on the planet, but fair and transparent, so regardless of cost, it's worth every penny without hidden fees or tricks. I'd say I'm pretty satisfied and should I need to move anywhere again, will call Pearson again!!!

They had four movers come over (all nice enough people) but they broke several things, the most important being a Terra Cotta soldier I had purchased in Xi'an, China, made from the same clay as the world famous archeological find. They had wrapped it up, so I never saw the damage, but they assured me they would have it fixed and redeliver it to me. The person I've been dealing with, Brock, ultimately has chosen not to have it fixed and offered me $1000, which is 1/4th of what a replacement would cost, and the replacement probably would not come from the same clay. In the several months since the move, Brock's responses to my emails have been slower and slower to come to the point he no longer bothers to return my emails. I have asked him where the statue is now -- no response. I honestly don't know that it was actually damaged, perhaps they just stole it by telling me it was damaged hoping they could keep it for $1000. I'm not accusing them of that, but as I've been ghosted, the thought has crossed my mind. I have now had to retain a lawyer in hopes of getting my statue back, or getting a replacement. Other things were broken such as a handle to a new dresser drawer and a few small less significant things, but obviously the terra cotta soldier is my main concern. Breakage on a move is something that's going to happen. But when a company won't stand up to their mistakes and make things right, they're a company you want to steer clear of so you don't have the same experience. When it comes to moving, please do better research picking a company than I did.
