I liked that you can sit anywhere you like and order directly from the table through a QR code. The cons were that staff wasn't as attentive. We weren't sure if water was self-service near the fountain soda machine towards the back or if we had to ask the staff. We also had to go up to the bar for the Mexican coke we ordered since it was missing from our order. The food was very flavorful and had a large variety to choose from. I liked all the vegetarian options. We ordered the plain guacamole and chips. I felt like the guacamole was missing just a tiny bit something. Next time, I would order the trio to taste different flavors with the guacamole. My tacos were all delicious, although a bit on the salty side. I didn't mind that, but it made me want to order a drink for sure. Out of the three tacos I ordered, the Ami Schroomer was my favorite. I loved the mushrooms and the sauce. The meat was good but I could not eat the actual tacos themselves. The chips were 5/10 and the Queso was hard and cold by the time I ate it but I'm sure it's because I took it to go. On 10/22 and 10/21 Avo Taco was giving our free tacos & margaritas. Im biased obviously.. but the food actually slapped chicken & pineapple tacos reminded me of my first taco spot love in cali. Tbh they don't really have tacos like this around the area and this was much needed ! When I walked in, it was very busy and I almost decided to take my food to go until the server got me seated pretty quickly, so I appreciate the service! I ordered 3 tacos, The Ami Shroomer, The Coco Loco, and the Calypso Steak Tacos. The Ami Shroomer was my least favorite. It barely had any flavor and was very watery for some reason. The only thing that gave it flavor was the truffle, but other than that it was pretty bland. I wouldn't order it again. The Calypso Steak was my second favorite! I absolutely loved the flavor of the marinated steak, which was sweet and savory. I expected it to be slightly spicy and was a bit disappointed that it wasn't at all spicy. Though, I loved the flavor nonetheless and I would definitely order again! The Coco Loco was my FAVORITE out of the three! It was so delicious, perfect ratio of crispy, spicy and sweet and I absolutely LOVED it! I would order this again for sure and it was so enjoyable! The only thing I didn't like was the Ami Shroomer taco and also when I was trying to pay to leave, all the servers disappeared and I couldn't pay so I can leave to go back to work for a good 20 mins until I flagged a different server than the one serving me. I personally wasn't wowed here... this place is more of the fusion type of tacos with an overload of sweet and savory flavors. Maybe I am California biased, but I love my basic street tacos the most. So the tacos here I can eat once in awhile, but I can soon get sick of it. We came during opening hours, so it was empty during our visit. I can imagine it being more of a vibe later in the day. I tried the Californian, Chimichurri Steak, and the Carny. Loved the Carny the most and could do without the Californian next time as I didn't like the way it was fried (Prefer my fish to be beer battered). The amount of meat in the tacos was disappointing... the piece of fish in the Floridian taco looked like a French fry, the middle part of the piece of pork was extremely thin, and there was a sad amount of meat in the birria tacos as well.
