The house did not get built around the furniture. FINALLY (and probably $700 later) they got the furniture loaded.. shocker that it actually did fit out the way it came in They also labeled nothing. They helped deliver and remove a refrigerator from a third-floor apartment where the stairs couldn't fit a full-size fridge. Greg came by first to evaluate the situation and gave me a fair quote--much better than other companies that required a minimum number of workers or hours. On moving day, the crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were both courteous and careful. They even removed and reattached the fridge doors to get it through the window. Highly recommend!

We…read moreused Matt to move things out of our house to have floors refinished and that went well (although I found it odd that they helped themselves to the moving boxes I had just purchased to put under the furniture in the garage, rendering them useless). Then we arranged a date to move back in and one of the movers texted Matt to confirm the date of the second move. 3 days before that move Matt called to say he could not do it that day and denied ever confirming it (and my husband saw his mover text him). Frustrating - esp since Matt told us that we should have contacted him directly (his mover should not have handled it in that case). Then we set up a move to Fla and Cape Cod. On June 13 we discussed moving July 19 and he said he could do that date. 3 days later we got an email with different dates. When we called him, he denied ever saying he could move us on the 19th. He insisted he told us this but neither my husband or I heard him say that (and since we could not do the dates he claims to have proposed, we would have objected on the spot). He was referred by our realtor. We called our realtor to inform him of the situation and our realtor said he also had a few miscommunication issues with Matt and will no longer be using or referring him.

When the movers arrived they had not realized we lived on the 3rd floor and complained we had too much stuff, but never contacted the office to ask for help. When moving our queen size bed, they insisted it was a king, and the plan was to throw the bed over the railing of the 3rd floor. I had to tell them it was a queen and they could not throw the bed. When we arrived at the house they said mutliple items would not fit up the stairs, without measuring and they were let in our living room. Our cost ended up being double and I have called and emailed Matt multiple times to discuss this situation without any response. The unprofessionalism and lack of communication is serious

Unfortunately my experience with them was not good…read more They arrived on time and the guys were nice. During the move, they tried to up-sell us with tape but we bought everything in advance and did not buy it from them (which they didn't seem to like), so I felt like they tried to make more money by taking their time. For example at the end of the move, they said they have to go to the truck and get the paper work to finalize the move. That took them 12 minutes and of course the end-time of the move was when they came back with paper work. So we paid for another 15 minutes (they rounded it up) of bringing paper work from the truck (which could have been done in 3-4 minutes). A move of a 1 bedroom apartment, to a location 8 miles away took 3 hours and 45 minutes (plus they added 30 minutes travel time) so we paid for 4 hours and 15 minutes. But nevertheless, I didn't want to argue about 15 minutes and they were nice as I mentioned, so we said 'thank you' and gave them a nice tip ($80). However, when I unpacked, I saw broken dishes. All my dishes were wrapped in a lot a white paper, and placed inside PLASTIC bins. In addition, I had huge FRAGILE stickers all over these bins. Yet somehow they still managed to break them. When I contacted the company about it, I was told that the movers said the boxes were over-packed and their insurance does not cover that. Just to be clear - we did have some cardboard boxes with cloths, shoes, books, that were heavy, but the plastic bins with the dishes were definitely not over packed. I made sure to wrap each dish in a lot of white paper, and leave some room between the dishes so they don't break. The boxes with the dishes were small and light, and I was able to pick them myself and put them on the counter when I was unpacking. I guess they probably tossed those bins around and/or put very heavy boxes on top of them. I did not expect a full refund, but I thought at least they would cover the broken dishes (since they did advise we have insurance) instead of "we don't cover it and it's your fault". I will not be using them again.

They helped me arrange my room and did not mind one bit moving my heavy furniture around a few times to see how things would feel. I especially loved that Nate offered me his great opinions and recommendations on the placement of furniture in my room, even though that meant moving almost everything. I am so happy with how the move went I will definitely be listing top speed under the list of movers I trust and love for other incoming students in the area. My room is cozy and it wouldn't be this way without these awesome gentlemen. Thank you for your time, help, and excellent service guys!!! Edit: I forgot to mention that the guys took apart my complicated bed set and rebuilt it in my new room to perfection. (Something I thought would be impossible. I was prepared to sell the teak cabinet if, as I expected, it simply wouldn't fit up the stairs to the attic.)
