My mother used prudential moving a couple of years ago, and highly recommended them for my move this past week. They were on time, efficient, professional, and friendly! Sergei even went above and beyond to repair some minor defects on my furniture, and he provided me with a referral for a handyman to help re-mount my TV in the new place. Lastly, the moving service was very budget-friendly! I recommend them for anyone looking for a moving company, and my family will continue to use Prudential for future moves! read more

The 3 gentlemen that moved me out of my third floor apartment were very professional. Sergei and his whole crew worked quickly and carefully to move 30 years of stored belongings. From big items to small, all were packed in the truck expertly so that when off loaded to my new place of residence nothing was broken or misplaced. I found Prudential Movers from a Yelp recommendation. With some information inputted on the company website, I was given a competitive price quickly. They showed up on time and finished within the estimated time. The quoted pricing matched exactly with the final invoice. I hate moving from one place to another but if I do move again I will use Prudential Movers. read more

We have used Prudential twice now and both times they did an exceptional job. The first time I had rented a truck and loaded it myself and just had them unload it. The second time I used their 20FT truck and had them load and unload. They are punctual, professional, hardworking and efficient. Their prices are very reasonable and they have great communication. I high recommend Prudential to anyone looking for a great moving company. read more

I used Prudential moving a few years ago -- I was driving up on Sunday from Virginia and had originally intended to store my furniture with U-haul, but made it to the storage unit just 5 minutes after U-haul closed. While towing a trailer through the city and calling several places only to find that they were closed for the night, Prudential moving was able to meet us at a parking lot and transfer all of my things to their van. When I needed to move in to my 5th floor walk-up apartment on a busy street on 9/1, they carried everything up the narrow staircase in the heat and humidity, all in a few hours. They were extremely efficient, hardworking, communicative, and all of my things arrived undamaged. At first, I felt the price was higher than I'd want, but at the end, it was more than worth it. I would absolutely choose Prudential again for another move! read more

My move went incredibly smooth. Sergei was very responsive getting me a quote and answering my questions. When my moving day arrived I got a courtesy call 30 minutes before they would be arriving. They were quick while also treating my items with care. They made sure to ask my input on where my items would be going in my home. I was very satisfied with the guys and would recommend using them in a heartbeat. read more

This business lost over $10,000 worth of my apartment contents (furniture and personal items) and misrepresented their licensure to do interstate moves. Unresponsive to my requests for explanation of exactly what happened. I have reported to Massachusetts Attorney General Consumer Affairs and federal agency (Dept of Transportation). read more

Awesome job! The Prudential team was professional. They moved me out of a POD into an apartment. Great customer service and communication. And very efficient in the move. They were kind enough to give some pointers to my cousin who was taking some furniture out of the POD to a different location. They helped load the truck efficiently. I have already referred Prudential to a friend and will 100% use them with my next move. read more

The best!! They were great at communicating with me when they arrived at the storage unit/ when they were leaving/ and asked me to look over their finished product. They were honest, transparent, and took care of our belongings. Easy to work with a nice people. Affordable pricing too. Thank you so much for helping me with this move! read more

Called the night before the move and said it would be an hour later. Reasonable. Day of the move was called at the new start time and told it needed to be rescheduled for the next day because of illness, super inconvenient but things happen. Next day no response from calls or text until almost 2 hours after start time indicating they were in the hospital and couldn't get to the phone, starting to sound a little sketchy. Is there just one guy doing all the moves? Told they would make it right the next afternoon. If I had to be out that weekend that would have already put me in a bad position but I had planned for an extra week to make sure the old place was clean so I said "one more shot". Next day, should have guessed. No call no show no response from calls or text. Straight to voicemail. Called the credit card company to get my deposit back. It's been 4 days and they haven't reached out. Maybe the guy is really sick. No idea but a text isn't that hard read more

I have chronic pain and was unable to move our furniture from the uhaul into our new apartment. Prudential moving came the next day and moved all of our things so carefully and QUICKLY! I really appreciated their help, and their price was really great for the service. highly recommend, and will be using them again next time we move. read more

I've hired Prudential Moving twice this year for simple in-town moves. In both cases, the care and effort put into my needs went above and beyond. While not the lowest bidders, they prove their worth by showing up on time, communicating clearly and reliably, and by handling my property with the greatest of care. Super efficient and very capable. In both cases, (as our manifest was organized exactly as described) they achieved the move in the time quoted or less. Very trustworthy. I will hire them for any future moves. read more

They were able to move a couch that we thought it was impossible to move! (picture shown before they showed up.) Friendly, punctual, professional, and quick. read more

Prudential Moving and Storage - couch we thought would never move - Movers Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Excellent team. They got things done quickly, efficiently. No bad surprise, only good. Highly recommend.

I set Prudential moving up through yelp. They quoted me a good price. From there was able to set it all up online. They had sent reminder emails and when the day came they arrived during the window they said they would (they called as they were on the way) and completed the job without any issues. Great experience! read more

Moved all of our heavy furniture and outdoor furniture from 3-4 bed single family home in the rain (sometimes torrential). We had A LOT of furniture. Took about 6.5 hours with 3 individuals. Timely, reliable, and very professional. Our furniture, walls, and floors were not damaged. Quote was accurate. We are extremely satisfied and we highly recommend this company for anyone who is moving. Best money ever spent! read more

They never showed up as per the scheduled time. We agreed up the move date/time but they never showed up :(.

Very professional. Responded to quote request right away. Reasonable rates. These guys really came through for me! I had a last minute job that needed to be done on a Saturday. They honored their original quote despite difficult circumstances and the need for a VERY rushed job. They were cool, calm, collected and quick. Oh -- and kind! Just what I needed during a VERY stressful move. I would HIGHLY recommend them! read more

I can't rave about Serhii and his team enough. There was a miscommunication on the size of the move, (I take full responsibility.), and though it took 2 times longer than expected, everyone stayed extremely polite, professional, and DIDN'T SLOW DOWN! They did a very impressive job packing everything to ensure all was protected, and were great with maneuvering extremely large/heavy items (giant washer and dryer) down three flights of stairs. They even navigated a rough terrain in the dark at our destination like champs! Serhii uses a great app to track everything which made the billing process very clear and transparent too. Looking forward to hiring them again for our next move! read more

Something is seriously wrong with the management, very disorganized. I made a deal on the phone with sergi gave him all my info, chased him for two days. He never got back to me, screwed up my moving plans because i didn't have a written quote so i had to go with another mover all i wanted was a phone call Richard read more

This was my first time hiring movers and I'm beyond impressed. Sergio responded quickly to the quote request and their website was very easy to navigate. They were professional, showed up on time, moved our entire apartment in what felt like minutes. Honestly I didn't know what to do with myself, I wanted to help but they had it all covered. The price was very fair and they were very careful with the more fragile items. I've already recommended them to coworkers and will definitely be using them again next time we move! read more

Sent out the request at Yelp, got the first response from Serhii, Prudential Moving, and chose them as my mover, although there is not much review for them. When they arrived, they immediately started the moving. The whole moving procedure was seamless. They are professional and reliable. Definitely, will hire them for my next moving. read more

Sergei was excellent to deal with. The team at Prudential are excellent at what they do. Punctual on arrival time, informative on the cost, but most of all, good old-fashioned hard work. The two movers efficiently moved everything from my old house into the truck and even offered storage over the weekend due to an issue with closing on my new place. When it came to making my move, getting all my stuff inside the new house was a breeze. They even offered set up on multiple pieces of furniture and appliances. I would highly recommend not only Prudential moving and storage but especially Sergi, and his team! read more

So far, so good! Serhii has been incredibly responsive from the beginning and very reasonable. They were patient with me and incredibly easy to work with. The best part was the actual moving. The crew arrived ready to work. They quickly packed up all of my belongings and took special care when wrapping and transporting my goods to the truck. They were all polite and clearly experienced. I even picked up a few packing tips for myself watching them work. I'm sad him and his crew won't be the ones to unload my belongings at my final destination but I would have no hesitation in recommending them in the future to anyone I know. read more

Ripped our mattress, lost our mirror, went way over the original quote, very unhelpful and borderline cruel over the phone. Our couches are ruined and one of the drawers of a dresser is broken. Never again. read more

Prudential was amazing. Fair quote (when others quoted artificially low numbers), extremely responsive and attentive, skilled, and mindful of costs. Move took longer than expected because I asked them to assemble IKEA furniture, and they were amazing. Have used many movers in the past 10 years, but they were the best. Highly recommend. read more

Top tier experience. Clear communication all the way through, and when the two young men showed up they were extremely efficient and professional. They swiftly wrapped what needed to be wrapped, including shrink wrapping our mattress before moving it, everything seamless. These are the real pros. They are also tall and athletic so they have the strength to get it done. Price is communicated clearly up front and is extremely reasonable. The lowest stress move I've ever had. read more

Very responsible movers with clear communication. Would definitely consider again for next move.

Serhii was professional and easy to communicate with. We were scheduled for an 8-9am move from Malden, MA to Somerville, MA. Sergei and one other gentleman showed up around 8:30AM and provided us with a courtesy call before they arrived. They were diligent in wrapping up our furniture before placing it on the truck making sure not to damage anything. They assisted w disassembling the bed frame, dining table, legs to the couch, etc to make for easier travel and then put everything back together for us. They were quick and efficient and prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Prudential as a moving company and would definitely use them again in the future! read more

This was an all around great experience, the most low stress move I've ever had. Sergei was very professional, they disassembled and reassembled beds as needed, wrapped everything so well, navigated narrow stairway corners with large dressers no problem, installed furniture pads on anything going on our new wood floors, etc. Hire with confidence! read more

These folks are FANTASTIC! I needed a very-last minute moving company to help unload a shipping pod and assemble some furniture. Serhii and his team answered the call right away. They were on time, incredibly efficient, and professional. The service was truly a lifesaver and an incredible value for the price. I recommend them without reservation!!! read more

This was my first time hiring movers (I'd always done it myself) and I was recommended this company by a friend. They were very responsive while setting up a time and date for my move. They arrived on time, gave proper notice about when they would be there, were very professional and efficient, and super nice as well throughout the whole move. They disassembled my bed and wrapped up my mattress too. The whole move was on the lower end of the time they quoted me. I would 100% use them again for my next move. Made it super easy and definitely beats having to move all my heavy boxes and furniture myself. read more
