This will be a lawsuit against AutoZone. on 6/18/2025, I went to AutoZone and purchased power steering fluid and windshield wipers. While I was in the store, an employee offered to fill the reservoir with the power steering fluid. Install the wiper blades, and fill the power steering fluid. I gladly agreed, and we went to my car, which was parked right in front of the door. He then poured the fluid into the BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR. Then installed the wiper blades. Because the formulation cannot be mixed, as it is corrosive, it destroys the seals and master cylinder. After he put the cap back on, he was visibly startled because he saw it was brake fluid. He went from being overly helpful to rude, and was so shaken that he had difficulty installing the wipers. He almost tripped over me to get back into the store while I thanked him, but he didn't respond when I said goodbye. Before this, I asked him for a referral to a mechanic because I needed to have my Infiniti serviced. He gave me a card. I was grateful and said I would go directly there. (I am not a mechanic, so I did not question this in the moment but watched him do it.) I drove directly to the mechanic that he recommended to get an estimate. That mechanic gave me a loner and called me the next day with the estimate of what my vehicle needed. He also said I topped off your power steering fluid because it was low! When I got home, I looked under the hood to check my fluids, and while doing this, I read the cap of each, and the power steering is in the front and the other side of the engine. This is documented, and I will provide the exhibits. I went to the store and talked to the manager. He said that I must have done it and they were not at fault. I asked him to look at the security cameras. He laughed and said they do not have cameras. They do. I asked for the regional manager's phone number, and they wrote it down on paper with his name, which is Kyle. I left. I went home and called the number, and it was answered by someone who laughed and denied everything. The store probably gave me the phone number to the guy who did it in the first place. He said they have no cameras. At the same time, he was joking and mocking me for bringing this up. So "I said, Well, you know I am recording this call". He said Well then, we cannot speak to you and hung up the phone. I called the corporate complaint phone number and spoke to Lou, who told me to keep my records, and he was going to escalate the ticket to corporate." He said they will return your call within 48 hours. They did not. In the meantime, I took my vehicle to a mechanic and had him flush the brake fluid to see if that could stop the progression of the damage. I had the system flushed and prayed that would be good enough to save the master cylinder and seals. My breaks were 'spongy', and sometimes I needed to press harder than other times. They were never consistent in stopping my car. I have never had one problem with my brakes! It continued to get worse each day, but I have no way to pay for a bill like that. Each time I called the complaint number for AutoZone I spoke to the same person. His name was Lou. No one ever got back to me. I drove home from work on 9/03/25 and stopped at In-N-Out Burger. While I waited, I advanced my car forward behind a truck and pressed the brake. The pedal went to the floor, and I ran right into the truck ahead of me. The car didn't even slow down. I immediately called the "corporate" number again. Talked to the same customer service agent, and he said I will escalate this ticket, and they will call you back within 48 hours. No one has. I need help with this as soon as possible. I no longer have a car, as I can't afford to fix it, and it's not worth selling in its current condition. I have been getting Uber to work and back, which is approximately $100.00 per day. I am now renting a car. I have no one to help me, and I am helpless. Please Help Me! This Auto Zone has been such a lifesaver for me several times. Whenever I need help with my vehicle the workers here are so kind and helpful. They take the time help me put in the part I have bought so my vehicle is safer on the road. Recently Dan S was took the extra time to replace my hood struts on so my hood wouldn't slam shut- I appreciate his effort so much- you don't find that extra customer service very often anymore. I stopped by AutoZone recently and was helped by Otley Smith, and I honestly couldn't have asked for better service. He was super helpful, knew exactly what I needed, and explained everything clearly without rushing me. You can tell he really cares about helping customers and making sure they leave satisfied. Understaffed! Please give this location more employees. I was told they could not change my battery because they didn't have staff (two people were working). He told me I had to go to a different location but because I had to turn my car off for him to test the battery, once I turned it back on it was a struggle to get to the next location. Now I'm STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD waiting for AAA because my car didn't make it to the second location. All of this would have been avoided if this location was staffed or made an exception to help. read more

Dan was more than helpful and informative when helping me replace my battery. I was sold an incorrect battery at another store but Dan made it a breeze to get it swapped out and put in my car in less than 30 minutes!! As I walked to register with my gallon of Rotella the guy who "works" there asked if I was paying with credit card or cash - I said why does it matter? 1 other customer came into the store. The employee said to me "if cash I'll ring it up, if credit card use the self checkout. Would have taken him a few seconds to ring me up. Poor Customer Service. He has a very monotoned voice and obviously doesn't want to be there or care whatsoever. he is always very short and has an attitude it's also impossible to talk to the guy because he won't pay attention and it takes forever in line to get something done. terrible service! read more

Driving from California to Arkansas. Stopped here because our engine light went on. Jack P helped out so much. My mom and I don't know that much but he set us up for success till Albuquerque and hopefully to Arkansas. We got all his recommendations when it came to parts/oil and communicated everything extremely well. We got all of the stuff he recommended for our trip back and can return everything if we don't open the items. An hour and a half from home. An hour and a half from our destination. It was clear our SUV wasn't going to make it. We literally broke down as we limped our Durango into the AutoZone parking lot. I was greeted by Randy inside and he immediately let me know he could help. He grabbed some tools and performed some voodoo magic trick on my air intake. In 3 minutes, he solved what I had been working on for 3 hours while stuck at a gas station down the street. No parts, no labor, no waiting in the customer service lounge at a dealership, no tow bill and no hassle. OK. I'm sure we all agree that we expect these guys to know about cars and give us the right part we ask for. But these guys don't get paid to walk out to your car and look under the hood. Maybe for a code read... but Randy diagnosed it, fixed it, and all while respecting their corporate COVID19 guidelines. No questions asked. Had a dead battery, ugh! Got the vehicle to AutoZone on Dove Valley and the service tech Trevor did a fantastic job of installing a fresh juice box. Trevor's knowledge of his job was great, but what was especially impressive was how he took the initiative to be my dedicated helper from the moment he asked what I needed help with to the time I drove away.
