Had two bad experiences with this autozone in just one week. I bought an alternator from them online and went to come get it tested after I had it installed. one of the workers checked the alternator, he also decided to take it upon himself to hammer a paper clip into my car battery because he said the connection was loose. he never asked me or told me he was doing this until it was already done. because of that, the car wouldn't turn on when I got home. I called about it and they pretended like the guy didn't even work there. The alternator that I bought from them ended up failing less then 24 hours after being installed. because of that my belt melted off and snapped. when I went in there today to buy a new alternator, he wouldn't replace the belt or offer me a deal for it. which is frustrating considering that they messed with my battery earlier this week and their part broke the belt that I had just bought and replaced. read more

Not sure if I've got the correct Auto Zone, I'm writing a review on the Auto Zone on Union Hills and 7th in Phoenix. I went in for a battery for my key fob. As I walked in, a very kind associate named Roberto helped me without me asking for help. I told him what I needed, he took my key fob and went right to the battery and proceeded to perform a surgery on my keys :) He is a very knowledgeable, and kind human being. It's rare when I come across an employee that is as kind and helpful as Roberto, so I wanted to make sure I mentioned him here.! We need more Robertos in this world. read more

Michael takes advantage of elderly women. An elderly woman from church went to have her car looked at here. It had a check engine light on and the car wasn't running well. Mike said he fixed cars on the side and could replace the parts. He didn't. He only did half the plug wires that were easily accessible. Not the one that was bad. Michael was very helpful with my AC problem. I went to two mechanics prior and they told me I had to replace my compressor unit and that there was a leak and other issues. Mike simply told me all I might have to do is add Freon and it may fix the issue. I took his advice and he even came outside to my truck and assisted and we were successful! I've been hot in my truck for weeks and am a beginner at learning the truck so this was a true blessing to me. He went above and beyond and I offered him a $20 tip and he declined gracefully! I didn't know these folks will charge your ailing battery for free. Lifesaver! Other than that, it looks like an auto supply place ought to, as far as this non expert would know. (It's cleaner than I imagine auto stores to be.) I doubt they purposely hire good looking people, but they have those, too. read more

I'm beyond baffled about the experience I just had with an employee named Michael at the store on 7th ave and Union Hills. I have never felt so threatened and uncomfortable before by an employee who's supposedly there to assist. After leaving the store I tried calling to speak to a manager and I was hung up on twice by the same employee after simply asking to speak to a manager. The employees here are amazing!! Every single one of them! My bf and I went here to check our battery (thanks to the summer heat) and I did not expect to have such a fun experience at an autozone! The first guy who helped us (totally forgot his name) was very friendly and assisted us to check the battery. Right away he found the issue with the battery all the while giving me a mini heart attack after faking that he was getting electrocuted (this is probably the reason why I forgot his name), nonetheless he was hilarious.
