But…read moreshe didn't know to remove the spare wheel cover and the antenna before heading in to the automated machine. So after I got my car back, both the tire cover and my antenna topper were gone! We called the next day and "Sam" told us that after cleaning the system and looking again they did not find anything. He even said that they would review the video to determine what might have happened. Later that day, I went down myself to confirm that those actions had been taken. I was met by the Manager, Sam, in person and he remembered the call. He then closed the car wash and diligently looked through each part of the machine including all of their drains to help find my antenna topper. All to no avail. He confirmed that he had looked through the videos also and had seen that the tire cover was still sort of attached to the vehicle when it left. (So if anyone finds a "Suzuki" tire cover in Anthem, it is probably mine!) Bottom line was that I did not retrieve either of my items from the car wash. When Sam saw my disappointment, he gave me a voucher for a free re-wash just for coming in! In the past, I had gone to his place for my car washes and by this time had already decided that I would now ALWAYS go there. But I cannot convey how impressed I was with the level of customer service, professionalism, and kindness that Sam showed to help find my items. To top it all off, while Sam was (again) looking for my items, the next customer was fairly patiently waiting to start his car wash. For that patron's time, Sam even upgraded his wash for his inconvenience! Truly, a great product, great service, great personnel, and a great experience. What else could one ask for?? No More Dealership Service for My Truck I was driving down…read moreI-17 at 75 mph when my well-maintained 2016 Silverado suddenly lost power -- I lost steering control, braking became difficult, the wipers turned on by themselves, and several LED alerts started flashing. It was a scary experience! O'Reilly Auto Parts ran a diagnostic scan and confirmed the battery was fine, suggesting it might be the alternator, but they recommended I go to a Chevy dealership for a more advanced diagnosis. I went to Midway Chevy, and the service advisor immediately said I needed a new battery. I wasn't confident in that quick assessment and asked for a full inspection, but they said it could take up to two days just to look at it -- and several more days for repairs. That meant a week of car rental costs and a huge bill! So, I decided to find a local shop and had my truck towed to Wilhelm Automotive in Anthem, AZ. Best decision ever. The next morning, Wilhelm's team ran a thorough diagnostic and found the real issue -- a wiring problem between the engine and the battery. They fixed it the same day, in just a few hours, and at a very reasonable price. My Service Advisor, Kyle Long, even arranged and paid for an Uber to pick me up at home so I could get back to my truck. I understood the the shell and bed rug had to be ordered and this shop had no part of how fast the delivery was. When the camper shell arrived, I received no phone call to let me know. Only after I happened to call them they said it was in and ready. So communication is at best poor. You'd think spending about $5,000 for all these accessories they'd be eager to get it off there lot and installed but it seems I'm wrong. Installation was ok however I didn't sit in their lobby but rather had some other transportation arranged. So they had about the full day to get everything installed. Upon inspection it with the, owner I believe, the bed rig wasn't laying flat like it was supposed to but the owner told me it'll lay flat when we had some warmer weather. All the holes needed done looked pretty good. After about a month, perhaps it was two, the bed rug was still not laying flat as it's supposed to. The owner found that when they installed it, there was about a half inch it needed to move forward. After they did this, the bed rug laid as it was supposed to. Everything worked such as the camper shell locking with my trucks locking/unlocking of doors via key flob. However my locking tailgate and key flop button to open my tailgate no longer works. I was told it must not have worked before but as the owner of the truck I'm very well in the know that it did etc. So that issue isn't fixed but I'll deal with that on my own time. I've now been back to this store for a 3rd time, once for the install, bed rug and now the fuse block I broke. Each time I'm not had the owner smile, or seem interested in my business or whatever. This is part of the lower rating then I'd loved to have given. At this point, with all the interactions I've had, I've not yet ever felt appreciated for the business I've given them. They have no idea that I have 2 other trucks I'm wanting to get shells for. This very much isn't the type of shop I'll use next time. I'm very disappointed as I always want to support my local brick n mortar businesses, sadly not here for my next trucks.
