I was not going to return to this store, when I dealt with them last I spoke to an older employee on the phone who couldn't do what every other autozone employee I've ever dealt with could do, then when I went in I got assistance from the manager, he was abrasive, short, not good with the computer and just unpleasant. It is however the closest store to the house. So I went in prepared to be annoyed. HOWEVER! Jasmine is the nicest!!!! I pulled up thinking I just needed a new battery. Originally Jasmine thought it was the alternator and she wanted to be sure before selling me the wrong part. Jasmine quickly took my battery out and charged it. Turns out it really was the battery. Autozone will install your battery for free with purchase of a new one and will event credit a portion of your battery core towards your new purchase. Went to store on Aug 8, 2021 at 5pm. Parts Manager was super helpful. I'm a female who needed engine coolant, washer fluid and transmission oil (so I thought). I had no idea what kind to purchase and Parts manger was SUPER! He not only showed me what to buy (and not what to buy) but he checked my transmission oil and said I didn't need it and was nice enough to add the coolant & wiper fluid in my car for me!!! I live down the street and visit this autozone monthly for repairs on one of our 4 cars. Today my car wouldn't start at the gas pump across the street at circle k. No one had jumper cables so I walked over and asked if they could give me a jump with the box so I could come over there and have my battery tested. I offered to leave my credit card and ID. They said no. There was 5 employees in the store and no customers so I asked if someone could come with me over there. They said their tools can't leave the property. Instead I had to walk a 50 lb batter across 6 lanes of traffic. Very disappointed. Stuck in the parking lot for an hour no one offers to help then to go to autozone and not be helped. From now on I will be driving the extra mile to Oriley's. read more

After a 4 day vacation my friends car would not start. she took out her battery and brought it to Auto Zone at 35th Ave and Deer Valley. She did not realize there was one closer to my home. They guy told her to come back in an hour and a half they had to see if it held a charge. When we returned the 2 men working there were horrible. The one who charged the battery Vincent I believe put it up on the counter and said nothing wrong....okay she asked why was the battery so hot? he rolled his eyes proceeded to blow his nose in a paper towel less than a foot from her and said in a condescending voice. "because it was on a charger" I asked if they would carry it to my car the bald guy in a grey shirt said "You carried it in here we figured you could carry it out!" I am shocked Auto Zone has horrible men like this employed. I work in Global HR if Auto Zone would like some training on how NOT to treat people I can give you recommendations. I had a terrible experience at Oreilly- they spent almost an hour trying, unsuccessfully, to find wiper blades to fit my car. I left with no wiper blades, disgusted with their customer service, and immediately drove to this autozone. The employees were super friendly and Joe came right out and was able to get new blades on my car in a matter of minutes. I was so appreciative. I explained this to black attendant (doesn't matter that he's black but didn't catch his name) and he gave me incorrect item. I came back to return the coolant and exchange for what I needed and he called me a liar in front of other customers. These guys are thieves. I paid $160 for a Polaris battery, took At home, hooked it up, nothing. Duralast my foot. I don't have time to take it back to tell them they gave me a dud. Got sidetracked and didn't address it immediately. That's on me. Today I bring it in, find out I'm outside my 90 day warranty. I assume that common sense will prevail. The guy helping me tells me he'll get me taken care of. I sit there for almost a half an hour as this guy is punching things in left and right on the computer. I politely step aside and tell him help half a dozen customers who are waiting. Guy must have asked me my phone number literally eight different times. He finally tells me got it figured out and has me sign. I think I'm about to swap the dud for a new one. I tell him, "It's customer service like this that will keep me driving past the O'Reilly's that is between my house and this AutoZone." I let him know that I've been coming to this side is AutoZone for 8+ years, I even was at the AutoZone to buy a battery for a vehicle earlier in the day. This is when he tells me that the only thing he can do is provide a $10 refund for the core charge. I tell him "I bought a battery from you, it does not work, it seems to me that from a customer service standpoint, it would make sense to trade out the bad one for a good one". He agrees, I sit there for a while longer while he puts in more numbers into the computer. Again he comes back and says he can only give me $10. I tell him, "It's customer service like this that's going to make me stop at the O'Reilly's that's between my house and this AutoZone from now on." Good old Romero doesn't care about my loyalty, he only cared about milking another $160 out of me. Made my $160 donation to the thieves that are AutoZone, and walked out with another Duralast battery. We'll see if this one actually works this time. I understand warranty time frames, I also understand that I was outside the warranty, but when a loyal customer tells you that it was a dud when it was purchased, you look at the records and you see the thousands of dollars that loyal customer has spent through the years at your store, you waive the freaking rules to help that loyal customer out. It's not rocket science. These guys seriously suck. read more

I live just across to this location. I came by for changing the battery for my car key. There are only one man and one lady working in there. The man was truly bad service. He was not seem willing to help me. I think the manager should talk to him for his behavior and service for customers. My whole family will never come to this store location again even though we live just across the street. read more
