Doug's Duggs and Bunnies is the absolute best! It's just a great place and you will want to hang out at there like I do. Besides that, they offer everything you need for your air-cooled VW, as well as exceptional service from some of the most knowledgeable VW mechanics around.

Do not go to. Had to arbitrate to get over 2 grand owed back. If you knew doug back in the day, the former owner he wouldn't try any shady stuff. But Fish owns it now. Almost had to go to small claims.

Excellent service and a great experience!…read more My car died when I went to the gym, and I was completely stranded in the parking lot near Rally's. I stopped at O'Reilly Auto Parts on 855 W University Drive in Mesa (85201), and a very professional and knowledgeable lady came out to the parking lot to help me. They jumped my car and brought it over to the store, where she carefully tested the battery, starter, and other components. She discovered that the problem was actually a loose battery cable. She fixed the cable and did all the necessary tests to make sure everything was working properly. My car was running again! I was very impressed with her professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help me when I was stranded. She took the time to find the actual problem and fix it. I highly recommend this O'Reilly Auto Parts location on University Drive in Mesa. Thank you so much for your help and excellent customer service! You made a stressful situation so much easier.

One guy behind the commercial customer service desk said he couldn't help in case the phone rang. The other kid had a line of 8 people. I did use my customer service Karen voice and said you only have 2 people working and everyone in line stared at him for a second. Then he went and found an older guy. Probably like 50 not crypt keeper old. He helped me find my socket wrench then disappeared into the batteries. A lady with a socket wrench and audacity thinks she can do anything! Anything had another idea. But the guy, I shall dub him Richard, (no idea what his real name is) came out wheeling a cart and great hair. He stops and uses a big knife to open my wrench goes about his business. Me, still full of audacity and the a vision, have no idea how to use this socket wrench. Richard comes back over and shows me how to use it like an angel a windshield wiper shot my way. He then turns into dad mode and does pretty much everything but I did tighten two screws! And so the perilous journey of a girl with a dream concludes as Richard wheels away a dead battery and I drive off in search of dinner. Only 3 stars because live customers should be more important than a phone call that might come in.

I had an extremely disappointing experience attempting to purchase a Toyota Tundra from Carizona…read more I placed a $2,000 deposit based on how the vehicle was represented and then paid for an independent pre-purchase inspection. That inspection uncovered multiple problems that were not apparent from the listing, including a cracked dash screen, a tear in the rear seat that had been covered with duct tape, and significant cosmetic/body concerns. After receiving the inspection, I gave Carizona two reasonable options: repair the vehicle so it matched how it had been represented to me, or return my deposit. I documented multiple attempts to resolve the situation but did not receive a satisfactory response. What was particularly frustrating was discovering later that Carizona had apparently made repairs to the truck and relisted it. I was never contacted to tell me the repairs had been completed or given an opportunity to move forward with the purchase. I had to find the new listing myself. The truck was subsequently advertised at approximately $2,000 less than the price I had been dealing with--which essentially corresponds to the amount of my deposit. This experience ultimately cost me the $2,000 deposit, the cost of the independent inspection, additional expenses, and a significant amount of time trying to resolve the matter. The dispute is now the subject of pending litigation, so I will let the court determine the legal issues. My advice to anyone considering a vehicle here is simple: get an independent pre-purchase inspection before committing significant money, carefully document the vehicle's advertised condition, and keep copies of all communications. I would have much preferred for Carizona to simply communicate with me and resolve this professionally.

Said they would ship from LA and would be there the next day. Ok, I'm thinking that's good customer service. Wrong! Said the they were ordered too late for the shipment. But not a phone call, so I wasted my Sunday driving there to be told the bad news. Said it would be here Tuesday. Guess what? Only the fuel filter was available but the air filter couldn't be found. I am worried that these won't fit too, because their track record, so far, has been atrocious. I'm glad I'm not a flat rate mechanic, my lift would be cluttered with non revenue producing cars. I know what I'm talking about - I spun wrenches for ten years Follow up. They did call me when the new filter was in. They even gave me a gift card. I've always had good experiences with NAPA as they cater to mechanics. Thanks for stepping up and restoring my faith in you.
