I had car trouble, my vehicle broke down it was the middle of the night. I did not know what was wrong with it. I ended up leaving the car on the street. The next day I found out my vehicle was broken into and all of my belongings were taken. I had the vehicle towed to a shop. It took the shop two days to find out what was wrong with it. The starter had went out. I Had put a new starter in the car a few months earlier from Auto Zone. Since I was kinda far away from home. I had the auto shop just fix my car so that I could have transportation. The shop gave me back the starter that I bought from auto zone. I took the core to store 5465 in Pasadena, At this point in the week I was overwhelmed. It was so welcomed to receive the service I got from employee Juan Luis, He really made my day and my week. It's been a long god damn day. I recently got one of them "fix it tickets" from the police, for not having a front license plate, and we're approaching the ticket deadline, so I had to dash. I got here a little after 9am, bought the spiral screws and srewed them on in their parking lot. I paid 2.99 for the set of four. That's a deal, considering that the heads only take the little mini wrench it comes with. It made my job of screwing them that much easier. Had a great experience at Autozone Lake the other day. My battery light came on and I went in to get it checked out. They put it on the tester and it came out with 0% charge. Since it was out of warranty, I was going to have to buy a new battery!! However, Joseph (the manager) came over to double check things. He was a bit more suspicious of the alternator being the issue so he went above and beyond to make sure. Even though they were busy, he gave me all the time I needed to make sure the problem was correctly diagnosed. Turns out he was right! The alternator was the problem and luckily it was under warranty!! He charged my battery up and gave me a replacement alternator to take to the mechanic for replacement (deposit required). When I brought the old alternator back, I got a full refund! Thank you for all your hard work and making sure my problem was solved. I'll definitely be back! read more

I was told a part was supposed to come in at 6pm since they had to get it from "the hub," and that they were going to give me a call when it arrives. 6pm rolls around, I called them instead and they must've not communicated that order with the hub because the driver didn't drop off the part at this branch. I checked again an hour later and still. I was promised the part was going to be in by 11am the next day. I called then and asked if they could give me a courtesy call when it arrives at 11 just so I can be assured that it would be there by the time I get off work so I can have a car to drive to work again. They said they don't do those courtesy calls with orders coming from the hub. I would like some of what those employees are smoking in between shifts to compensate for their incompetence. Mind you this part was already paid for because they can't make the order without the payment. read more

I went in to get my battery checked and the guy helping me out was very helpful! He said it was still good, just needs a charge. I would just need to bring it back tomorrow to charge since they were closing in an hour. I left feeling pretty good knowing I'll get my car taken battery taken care of. I'm so upset at how they then proceeded to handle things afterwards on the phone. On my drive home my battery started to short out and made my car very difficult to drive and steer even though it was driving fine right before autozone. All my emergency lights started flashing while I was driving (airbag light, battery, engine, vsa) I got home and called kind of worried asking if they know if something might have happened due to checking my battery there and the guy on the phone seemed like he didn't care one bit and that it's not his problem. I don't think it was the same guy that helped me because this guy seemed very rude. I called again at 9:45, 15 mins before they close to check to see if they have my battery in stock there so I can replace it in the morning if needed. They answered, asked me to hold and never picked up the phone again. I hung up and called multiple times (9:55pm) after being on hold for 10 mins. The line would pick up then hang up right away. Sad I have to go to temple city now, it's so much further and I'm afraid my car will kill me driving there on the way during rush hour but I have no other means of transport. I couldn't find a belt-tension gauge to save my life and I couldn't find anyone to help me. I ended up spending way too long here. I am close to my five Autozone rewards points and a free $20. After that, I will probably not be back here. You only have six months to accumulate five points (that's five separate $20+ transactions) or your points start sadly to expire one by one - and they just don't have enough of what I need to get me to that point level. The same exact tools they carry are cheaper by at least half at Harbor Freight. Parts are generally cheaper at O'Reilly. Oil is cheaper at Costco. Smiles are free, but this Autozone doesn't seem have any of those on Tuesdays. read more

Because of Covid precautions, Ronald gave me instructions on how to use the device. When I returned the device indicated no problem.
