Went to the dealership to purchase a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. While writing the contract we were granted an option contract where we had until 11/3 to refinance. On 11/3 I went back to the dealership as my credit union wanted us to rewrite the contract and cancel a few insurances (as my credit union offered better coverage for less money). Victor (sales manager) claimed that the contract states we had until 5:00pm on 11/3 and basically told me to kick rocks. When re reading the contract, there was nothing stating it had to be before 5:00. I went back inside the dealership to ask Victor for clarification and he informed me he didn't have time to haggle with me and told me if I have questions to ask my sales man. My next issue comes when as we are driving the vehicle away from the dealership home (came all the way from Bakersfield which is a 3 hour drive) the check engine light came on and we lost power to the engine. The jeep wouldn't rev above 2,000RPMS and we were on the side of the 5 pitch black at 7:30pm. We attempted calling the dealership numerous times and nobody was available to pick the phone up. We were forced to leg it home with the hazards on (about 1.5 hour drive going 40mph). Another issue I have with the jeep we purchased is a massive coolant leak coming from the radiator. When I brought this up with Victor (clearly had so much motive to help us out) he told me to talk to my salesman. We were not helped and we wasted 6 total hours of driving time (and around $60 in gas) to not be helped and to me stuck with a world record 15.99% interest rate (even with a 740 credit score). I'm not going to tell you not to shop here, but if your standards for customer service and vehicle quality are higher then this. Purchased a 2010 Toyota Prius from here about a month ago. Prior to purchase the battery was replaced, however after 3 days the fuel gauge would drop from full to half tank when driving. After having the car for a year. I am ready to write my review. I had checked their yelp before and noticed many good things in the past year compared to the years before so i trusted that things would go good. Chris had shown me that this was the best car in the market and that it had a score of "94" or whatever from AutoCheck. Carfax said it has a clean title. I am now confident the information they provided to Carfax and other car history websites a whole bunch of BS. He told be they go through a "intense multi-point inspection". If they missed a couple of exterior bulbs being out i wonder what else they could've "inspected" and missed. They sold me a car that had been in an UNREPORTED ACCIDENT. I let my lust for the car get the better of me and now i am facing the repercussions. Aftermarket front bumper, aftermarket fender and a poorly blended passenger door that does not align with the body of the car. Whoever they had repaint the car left their finger prints on the windshield so now i technically have the finger prints of whoever repainted the car. The driver side fog light housing is broken. They put a makeshift wheel well cover when they could've gotten a new OEM one for $15. Ryan was very friendly and went with me on the test drive, he didn't really know much about the car when i asked him questions. Ram is their finance manager and after already signing papers it was him who had a paper that showed me that 3 panels had been repainted. I asked him why wasn't it on the ad he said they don't put it on there and that it doesn't need to be reported to Carfax or any of those other websites. Overall, i wouldn't buy another car from them. This was my first time buying through a used car dealer and never again. Although they were friendly, they were not honest and just kept telling me, look at the score! look at the score! I should've trusted my gut and just walked away. I tried reaching out but we could not come to an agreement. As the motto goes, kill 'em with kindness. And it's killing my bank account. I was recently approved for a 32000$ loan from west lake financial, I called car republic because I seen a porsche suv for 16000$ and I felt it was a good deal and I can save money, I called west lake and they told me I was approved for that vehicle also; so I called the car lot and spoke with a salesman name Chris, I told Chris I was already approved and I had the code from west lake, he told me to do their app so he can see what's on my credit, even though I was already approved with my approval letter on hand, once he heard I was black he started talking in slang saying "I'm going to be real with you, you have to many inquiries and you owe some child support idk if it will go through let me talk to my manager...I waited he never called back, west lake called me the next morning and ask was I going to make the purchase and I told them that the guy Chris said I didn't qualif, west lake replied back and said how is that if we already approved you? so I called the guy back to ask and he started talking crazy an we got into an argument and I started to go kick his ass for lying but instead I called his manager and hopefully they took care of it, if you are a person of color stay away from here and if you do go, do not deal with Chris, he is a racist and a loose cannon at the mouth and you might catch a case dealing with this guy. read more

This is my general impression after my purchase experience. I believe it is disingenuous and dishonest to advertise a vehicle's price and not disclose, verbally or otherwise, (until time of purchase - after repeatedly asking) that the ("As-is") price (undisclosed) includes a Low-Jack system and an added theft insurance policy (non-negotiable) - adding $4K to the advertised price. I'm sure I'll get a Customer Service representative responding to this post defending a position, but it's indefensible. Honestly, the sales experience was everything you'd expect from a really bad movie - the service was unprofessional and I felt manipulated and lied to - the finance manager needs a humbling refresher course in customer service. No one likes to speak with a manager who thinks and acts like they're God.
