First let me say that I usually hate buying a car and dealing with the game that comes with it. My experience with Auto Republic in Fullerton has changed my impression on how car buying should be handled. I called up and Mike the General Manager answered my call. I asked some questions on a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica that they had on their website. Mike answered all my questions and we then setup a time for a test drive. Upon my arrival I found the van sitting up front waiting for me. Mike quickly came out with the keys and away we went on a test drive. There was no pressure on where or how long this ride should be. While we were driving he pointed out some of the major features of the car. Mike's interaction with me was professional and friendly, there was no pressure, I felt like I was on a ride with a life long friend. When we returned we did a complete, and I mean complete walk through of the van to see all the options and explore the functions that were available. I decided to move forward with the purchase and David the Finance Manager was outstanding also. David quickly prepared the documents and waited patiently while I dealt with my Bank to arrange financing. The whole process took 20 minutes and I was out the door. I stopped on the way home to pick up my kids from a friends house and he came out to look at my "New" car. He thought it was a new car, he was very surprised to find out it was previously owned. The car is in excellent condition. I had an exceptional experience with Auto Republic and recommend it without hesitation. read more

So been going to vegas 2x w/ this car, drive daily to work, so far truck reach 87K miles already, I gotta say I'm pretty happy with the car as it is. Yes some parts need to be replaced but other than that, the engine running strong, transmission is fine too. I will have another update later on after 15k or 20k. read more

I must say that I was impressed with EJ and the rest of the Auto Republic team. I had bought a car from Carmax the day before and realized that there was a smell of cigarettes that was not going to disappear no matter how much we detail it. We found A similar car on the Audry public website at about 8:45 PM called over there and EJ picked up the phone. Set up an appointment for the next morning. Helped us return our car to Carmax. And then worked out a even better deal for us at their store. Nothing but positive things to say so far. read more

I find it annoying that people go in to used car dealerships expecting perfection on the dealerships inventory. That's plain ignorance! If you unhappy with the flaws a vehicle has why the f**k would you purchase it? I've delt with plenty of used car dealrships and I must say this is by far top notch I delt with a certain dealership by the name of southern california auto also in fullerton and they suck. I understand repairs promised can and will take some time but when after 2 months they decide they don't have to do it that's when I know how pathetic people can be. Fullerton auto square is awesome they put me in a car I've wanted since it was released back in 03. I was very lucky with finding this rare stage1 2005 dodge neon srt4 with 82k miles I love it all that was wrong with it was that the seat is ripped, so what its 5 years old its a small tear, I was kinda down that it didn't have the oem spoiler but Chris the sales "pro" that helped me get into this bad ass car said let me order it for you. How much I asked? He said he will take care of it. I understand these oem parts are usually on back order(I checked so shut it) but he got it within 7 days and he asked for me to leave the car for 3 days or so 2 days later it was done painted and mounted. It looks beautiful. I want to personally thank chris and fullerton autosquare. I will be coming back soon with more business. Anthony- 05 Flame red Dodge Neon Srt-4 :-) read more

Well, I had a real different experience than some of the earlier posters I guess. I waited a month to post a review to make sure the RAV4 I bought here didn't suddenly fall apart- so far so good! I dealt with Mike a little but mostly with Brandon, who is either a genuinely good guy or the best actor ever. I'm thinking the former! I had recently had a horrible experience at a Toyota dealership (you can access that review through my username) and I was a little on the defensive when I looked at this vehicle. Plus, I was a first time buyer (had always bought private party with cash before) and god knows I've heard all the horror stories about car dealers. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It was stress-free, completely pressure-free, and overall much easier than I expected. I even got a great trade-in price! I did buy the warranty- the 3-star plus, which covers a ton of parts with a $200 deductible for 2.5 years. The 3-star didn't look that great. Again, I have to recommend Brandon, he was a gem! And I love my RAV4! Thanks guys! read more

Terrible customer service, would not return any of my calls and would not give me an agreed upon price the second time i came back in for the same vehicle. read more

I had left a review on here a few days ago and it got taken down so here it is again: BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place is such a scam. They have lied to me time and time again. I had gone here thinking "hey it's a sister company of Cerritos auto square they have to be good"... I was looking for my first car all for myself so headed there with my boyfriend in tow. After talking to a sales man we found (what I thought to be) my perfect car, 05 a Honda civic, and it only had 38000 miles, great for a civic. So I decided hey why not, had my grandfather a mechanic drive it and he said it was a nice little car. I was told this was a 2 person pervious owned car and had never been in an accident. They sold it to me for 13000. Sip ahead a couple months I was driving to work and all of a sudden the transmission started to skip!!! Drove it a couple more days to work an my car all of a sudden stops in the middle of a street and won't go!! At this point I'm 5 months pregnant and had to get out and push my car to the side to avoid getting hit. I went to the guys here told them what had happened and the manager told me it "wasn't there problem" (but wait they also told me they inspect every car before they sell it) anyways they decided to fix my car due to the fact they lied to me about it being a previous 2 owner car, I got the actual car fax and it was a pervious 5 person owned car!! And I had also threatened them I was gonna go to the better business bureau and report them for fraud. I had also knowticed that the bumper was a different shade of gray and that there was over spray like it had been in an accident that wasn't reported. I had brought this to their attention and they said it was ok and it was fine. At this point I was over this car. Skip to today, I had gotten it appraised at car max due to I can't afforded the car payments anymore due to having a new baby and needed to get rid of it. Carmax offered me 5,000 bucks for it due to having clamp marks on the frame like it had been in an accident and someone tried to fix it. I have only put 4,000 miles on the car and have not been in an accident... This car is Kelly blue booked (which according to this place is only a "guestament" pricing and doesn't count) at almost 9,000 dollars. I am going to be bringing this up to this dealer but I know I'm going to be told "this isn't our problem". Which in my book, they sold me a faulty car, that they had inspected, that could potentially kill me if I get into an accident, so yes this is their problem. Do not go here they are liars and will try to get anything for you to buy a car threw them. Even if it means putting your life and your families in danger. read more

EJ, Ari and Ish took amazingly good care of us! We got exactly what we wanted with no hassle and excellent customer service. My husband and I both loved that they were not pushy and so sweet with our little kiddos. We were in and out of there so quick and they worked directly with our lender. Thumbs up and we recommend them highly! read more

I'm very satisfied with Auto Republic. In the past, I had previously purchased from private sellers, so this was my first time buying from a dealership. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they were very professional and very courteous. Their pricing is great. They truly are "no haggle" pricing, meaning the price you see is very competitive so they won't any higher or lower. Based on my research going through their cars, they offer some of the most competitive prices I've found in the OC/LA area. I bought a Nissan 370z from them. A couple of months later, I was interested in a Prius for my Mom and again noticed that they had some competitive prices. I read some other reviews about the warranty they offer. They offered me a warranty with my car, but since my car was newer I didn't feel I needed it. If you're buying a higher mileage vehicle, you should consider it. Lastly, when I needed some service done with my car, Johnathan gave me a quote over the phone. When I came in, he took care of it right away and took care of my car. Very classy guy. Overall, I'd recommend them. Also, I worked with Sergio and David when I visited who were also very professional. Kudos to the team, and thank you Auto Republic! read more

I thought I was getting a great deal on my car but unfortunately after two weeks the hard piping on my car was getting loose, the repair was $80.00 dollars. Then 9,000 miles later my cars computer had to be replaced (because it was one from mexico..not legal in CA, which makes me wonder how it passed smog). And one injector was bad so my car was misfiring. This all cost me $1500.00 and then shortly after that, my entire axle and cv joint went bad, that was another $560.00 dollars. I have not even contacted the dealership because my car only had a short warranty on it (for obvious reasons). But I figured I can help future buyers by telling them to stay away! read more

I had been searching for a bmw for weeks, I had been on every site possible trying to find a dealer with the car I wanted and who could work with low credit, then I came across Fullerton Auto Square, I was suppose to head over to their cypress location first but I just had to head to Fullerton first and I am glad I did! Fred was the best!!!! he promised me I would go home with a car that day and he made it happen, Fred, Brady, and Mike helped me get my bmw. Fred took me to all 3 of their locations I text dove 4 bmws and 1 charger and even though I liked the charger he made a comment how parents just want the best for their kids and he was right the car I got was a 2007 328i and im glad I did! Everything went smoothly, for being a first time buyer I defiantly recommend them!!! Thank You I have been telling everyone about this place!!! read more

In the month if July I purchased my first vehicle, And it was such a hasstle ! I was there for over 5 hours to leave with a car that I was not happy with. They where NOT willing to work with me at all. 8days after purchasing my car the check engine light turned on, The car is a 2011 ! My "new" used car left me and my 8 month old stranded ! I called the dealer left various messages with the manager I believe his name is MIKE. they texted me telling me they couldnt do anything about it because I did not purchase the dealer warranty but it was before the 30 days. Since they made me wait and wait it passed the 30 days ! A month passed they still would noy fix it. so its been 2 months still have a check engine light& AC doesn't work. DONT BUY HERE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT COSTUMER SERVICE. read more

I am glad I waited to leave a review. From the start, auto republic screamed shady. I was strongly encouraged to buy a waranty, I bought the waranty on the spot and that increased my down payment $1500. I further researched this "autowarranty" company and regretted the decision so I called and had them remove the warranty. I was not refunded the $1500, but rather it was rolled into my payments.. I was okay with that, but I was still dismayed at the deparity to sell this warranty. They told me they would take my trade in and pay off my balance.1 month later, I get call after call from my financer saying I have an outstanding payment. Auto republic failed to take care of the payment, so I was stuck paying back payments and I was never given a reimbursement from auto republic, nor was that payment rolled into my current loan. Now, I am three months into my purchase and my dealer issued temporary plates expired a month ago and I have not been able to get a hold of the dmv "manager" there nor have I received a call back. This place is sketchy and I would not trust them with large purchases such as a car or truck. read more

Today I went and bought my first car. Andre was the salesperson helping me and he made us super easy. Got there and within 10 minutes I was able to test drive a car I was looking at online. Within the next hour and a half I was driving off the lot with a "new" car. My experience couldn't have been better and the best part was, there wasn't any B.S. involved. Great place and excellent service! read more

My mom was in a rear ender collision last February.. To say the least I found myself looking for a new van. I was on line searching and found Fullerton Auto Square on the Auto Trader.com. There was a nice looking van with low mileage so I called to set up a test drive. Mike was wonderful about helping me out and I loved the van. I could feel good about my purchase knowing that the fully inspect and go through all their used vehicals. He helped me expidite the paper work and I was in and out with my new van with out any head aches. The whole team was very freindly and didn't keep me waiting. Check out their inventory next time your looking to get into a new or used car. My family LOVES the new van and it drives so smooth! Thanks Fullerton Auto Square! read more

Danny is the guy to see and Brady they were professional this is a great dealership no scams no nothing they saved me a boat load of money.

Overall very disappointed with my visit. Made an appointment yesterday to see a car I was very interested in. Setup an appointment with one of the sales people and had a set time, once I arrived I let one of the sales people know I had an appointment with someone, he then told me that the guy I made an appointment with was not there... okay. Someone else started helping me and we went to take a look at the car I was interested in. I was pretty excited because overall the car looked pretty clean besides the fact that they said they powder coated the wheels and it looked like they plasti dipped them, they were also chipping already hahah. The sales guy then let me know that there was someone else coming to buy the car that day and basically was telling me that it was a waste of my time being there. I drove over an hour to see this car which they knew because they asked the day prior where I was traveling from. I work at a dealership myself and how they went about everything was terrible, the worst dealership I have ever been too! read more

First of all I am happy with the car I purchased but not with the salesman. A car purchase is an important event and my experience was not a good one. I would rate this place a 1 if it was based purely off of the salesman. Salesmen know how to sweet talk and get you to buy a car after all that is their job but I trusted the salesman and I shouldn't have. He promised to fix a part in my car and never did. I contacted him several times and nothing. He also promised a free tint on my windows and nothing. I have lots of friends that were looking to purchase cars and sadly I was not able to recommend this place. I feel cheated and wish someone else had helped me. Avoid Danny as your salesman! read more

I'm from Santa Monica, but decided to try Fullerton, since they had several different cars I was interested in. A bit of a drive, but totally worth it. I spoke with Jay over the phone, who made sure the vehicles I was interested in were still available, and texted me an address and directions as soon as we were off the phone. I didn't buy what I initially came looking for, but they had so many options, Jay and I were able to find a 2011 Dodge Challenger in amazing condition, with every option you can thing of. It was hands down the nicest Challenger I had seen. In about an hour we had figured out numbers that gave me really good value for my trade-in and awesome financing. Mike, the sales manager, was very cool, and let me go out for an extended test drive to make sure the car was truly what I wanted. Afterward, I worked with Brady, their finance manager, and we knocked out my trade-in, DMV, financing, and a ton of other paperwork in under an hour. It was a totally painless experience. Cool guys, cool dealership, cool car. Time to go cruising. read more

We inquired about 2003 Ford E140 Explorer van on web site - last Sunday listed price was $9591. Adrianna called us to report van had sold. Monday she called again, saying van was available. We requested specific details as our trip would be 2 hours one way to see vehicle. Nice salesman D.J. Looked over the vehicle and called back to say there was no roof rack as advertised, and engine was not size advertised . He sent photo of gaping hole in interior roof where someone had removed TV/DVD equipment. We checked web site again to be sure about wanting to see it - the price had been changed to $11000!!!! We cancelled our plan to visit. The sales manager called this pm and apologized. He said we could buy the van for the previous price. We feel this dealership has unprofessional practices and customers should be very alert. read more

I had a good experience at Auto Republic. Juanita at the Santa Ana Store, was very prompt and helpful. I ended up buying a Dodge truck from the Cypress store. Marco my salesperson was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. We agreed on a price and it was pretty much a done deal. They do try to sell you the Lojack, that is previously installed, you can decline, but they are pretty persistent. Which I understand they need to make money too. Lojack is a fine product, I was just not interested. Overall we are very happy with the vehicle, and the service. I would recommend Auto Republic. read more

Impressed with the friendly and efficient service! Arrived at AR with a particular SUV in mind, and Erik and Sergio not only showed me what I was looking for, but also presented me with a few other options. If I could give 0, I most definitely would. Service was T E R R I B L E. I had an appointment to get my tire sensors fixed and got here at 10am. I'm sitting in their lobby as we speak, at 2pm. Lack of communication and service were the base but the fact a simple job could take this long is insane. After an hour 30 goes by, this shady dude who supposedly is the manager, let's us know that it'd be ready in a couple of minutes. Only to find out the truck wasn't even being fixed on the lot without letting us know, with expensive belongings in the car. I've never dealt with a business that lacked professionalism and simple courtesy to let us know what was going on. If that wasn't enough, after 3 hours in, I asked them for a rental in which they'd just promise to find out what was taking long. Then they want to tell me the guys that were fixing it were on lunch -- took me everything to hold back because I didn't bring it during lunch, I brought it at 10am. Only offered us a half ass apology and lunch until I spoke up. Couldn't even tell us WHERE the truck was. TTTTTTRRRRRRRAAAAAAASSSSSSSSHHHHHH Don't get serviced here. Gave us a full tank for 4 hours of our damn time. read more
