SLIMY BUSINESS. HORRIBLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I was searching for a BMW 1 series and happened to find one at this location. I took the time to schedule a meeting to drive the car, and immediately fell in love with it. Later that day, the manager and I spoke finances, and agreed that we would come to a negotiation assuming the car was clean. Following the weekend, we booked an appointment and paid $120 to have the entirety of the car checked. It was given the green light, and so we immediately proceeded to negotiating price. The manager and I came to an agreement on the price. Then, about thirty seconds later, I received a call saying that the car was being sold to a girl who came by the dealership and wanted to see the same car THAT I HAD JUST HAD CHECKED. The car that WE HAD VERBALLY AGREED TO as well as agree to proceed with any sort of paperwork/down payment/you name it. In short, they used the amount of money that we offered, the time we wasted and the money we spent on checking the entirety of the car as leverage to sell it right out from under us. These people are despicable. This is not the way you run a business, and rest assured we will be taking matters into our own hands and suing for damages. Again, do not waste your time or your money. Or your sanity. They'll take it all from you and you'll have nothing to show for it. read more

I signed th papers to purchased a vehicle from Cypress Motors that had a workorder to get the A/C recharded because the HVAC was not blowing cold air during the test drive. It turned out the car needed a new compressor. Also, I ended up having to deal with its sister dealer, Fullerton Auto Square, which is where the car was transported to for mechanical work (the A/C was actually fixed by a third-party shop). After a lot of headache and returning empty-handed (I had to go many times for various reasons, including bad communication and the A/C's continued malfunctioning), I finally was able to pick my car up with working A/C after three or four weeks. As soon as the 30-day warranty (which, by the way, is only shared 50% by the dealer; you have to pay the other 50%) came to an end, the A/C decided to quit. The dealer had refused to provide me with a copy of the workorder from the third-party shop for the A/C fix so I had to take the car elsewhere and pay out of pocket. Also, I changed my mind about the form of payment after I wrote a personal check and I got a loan from my bank instead. I communicated this and provided a check from my bank two days later and dropped it off at Fullerton Auto Square after I confirmed with Cypress Motors that doing so was okay. Cypress Motors did not return my personal check for several weeks despite many follow ups with them. I had "check alignment" written on the workorder to be completed post-sale. When I picked up my car one of the first few times, they said they checked alignment. I am pretty sure that wasn't done so I asked for the proof. I had to push several times to get proof that alignment was in spec. Within the first week or so of ownership and during the intermittent periods I had the car, I noticed the tires were badly worn on the inside (they were basically completely bald and down to the markers) but had plenty of tread on the outside, which is why I didn't inspect the tires prior to purchasing. The dealership obviously doesn't give a thorough inspection of the tires and if they did, it doesn't care about something as hazardous as bald tires. The dealership refused to even split the cost of changing the tires. I was apalled at the lack of attention to their inspection process and their unwillingness to satisfy the customer for something as trivial as worn tires. This purchase left a really sour taste in my mouth. I cannot begin to convey the amount of headache I had to endure and the number of phone calls I had to make to get things straightened out. Even something as simple as returning a personal check required many followups and inquiries. If you are looking for a deal, which admittedly I was, do your homework and definitely get the vehicle inspected. I made my decision in haste because I deperately needed a new vehicle after a lease. Unfortunately, I happened to agree to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Frankly, this dealership doesn't deserve any stars. read more

MAYBE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OF SOME KIND IDK BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! LETS GET THEM! I went here to purchase a 2005 G35. This car is my dream car and I worked very hard saving up money to afford to purchase one. I saved up $3,000 cash to put as a down payment and i figured I had the upper hand being the buyer with cash. I went in and took the vehicle for a test drive and there was clearly some issues once i inspected the vehicle. So the car had its issues here and there but it was something that seemed manageable because they kept on assuring me that they will fix it and and that i just need to bring the car back in and leave it for a day. I figured cool i can deal with that. I had NO credit history therefore it was a hassle getting a bank to finance me. But apparently when i pulled out the $3000 cash it all changed they said yeah your grandmother can co-sign and you can drive off today. so i get my grandmother to co-sign for me hand over $3000 to em and they give me a contract that states 315.00 monthly payments for like 5 years and the car ended being like 23,000 when it had a sticker price of 15,000 i was like wowww almost half the car price just in financing but i wanted the car i was young had money i so said screw it. You gotta pay if you wanna play. Thats when i shouldve walked away. But i wanted the car and they knew it more than i did. So i purchase the vehicle and everything is fine until a week later they call me and say i need to go back in with my grandmother to sign some more papers. I was'nt sure exactly what they wanted us to sign but they said there were some mistakes on the first contract and to come back so we can sign the new one. I drove from anaheim to los angeles to pick up my SICK grandmother at the time to sign these papers. SHE signed a new contract and they gave us the copy and we were off to home. UNfortunately i didnt really review the contract and they had said they needed to find another bank and had to run just my grandmothers credit?? so now i have a new contract with my grandmothers name on it NOT mine. Which means shes purchasing the vehicle and its on her credit. I wasnt even on the second contract. I then notice they back dated the contract which is illegal BTW !oh my god heres a list of what they did 1. Gave us english only contract and not spanish for my grandmother which by law if one word of spanish is spoken during negotitation thehn a contract in spanish is required as well as english so both parties understand what they agree to. 2. They back dated the contract. The second contract was dated as the same date as when i purchased the vehicle which was a week earlier. which is illegal. 3. They gave me a new work order regarding the rims to be fixed and whatnot but it did'nt say anything about the rims it just said 30 day warranty or some bs like that. I asked them to put in in writing and they refused and said its ok trust me just come back next week -__- 4. 2nd week of having the car and the door handle literally came right off the door!!!! They said that its my fault and the car was perfectly fine when they sold it to me and that they cannot honor fixing it! 5. sold the damn car to me on an empty tank jeeez!!! 6. Sold a 2005 infinity g35 6speed with a 300hp engine to a 81 year old lady who had no drivers license!!!! (contract had her name not mine so i had nothing to do with the car other than being the guy to pay it off but legally it was under my grandmothers name!!!!) 7. ruined my life,my job, my family! So after all these shady moves done by them i started to do research on do's and don't for car dealerships and realized that these guys did 3 of the top ten auto scams. Backdated contract Non english speaking person with an english only contract tried to do the bait and switch trick but didnt work! Finally the third week came along and they call me and demand $1500 more or to return the car. I said no way i already gave u 3000 and we have a signed contract. they said they couldnt get a bank to loan me to pay up or return the car. I said no way called a lawyer and tried to get some answers. They then repoed my car one day before i made my first car payment. I demanded my 3000 cash back and they sent me only 1500 because of damages like the door handle and me using the car for 30 days wear and tear plus the repo fee!!! I had to attain a lawyer and pay him 33% of what i get back fromt he dealer just to write a stupid letter stating to give the money back or face consequences. They sent the money back in full and that was that. I lost around 900 dollars to pay a lawyer to get my money back. Almost lost my job due to no transportation.OUT OF ROOM TO TY read more

First of all I want to start off by saying please don't buy a car from these horrible people (specially Stephanie) at first angel offered me a very low APR then Stephanie changed it because he wasn't working there that day I also told them I didn't want to put the 6k down payment anymore and that's when it started going down hill! I purchased a car here over a year ago. Apart from bald tires and the rear window break light not working, the mechanical side of the car was fine. I replaced the tires and light myself. Frankly, their 30 day warranty is horrible and 50/50 customer/dealer split makes it embarrassing for Cypress Motors. They helped me to find a car within budget and helped cement in a low monthly payment. I cannot argue with the customer service on that part, but, for some reason, the process seemed shady. An auto shop that conveys a 'hit or miss' visard. Look at all your options, but don't discount this Cypress Motors. read more

They sent it to a tranny shop where the owner said he put in a new transmission and he lied. They put a bunch of Lucas inside the tranny. They are liars, crooks and thievs. Dont trust them. Go buy ur car else where. I had to take my car to a reputable tranny shop where it cost me almost 3000 to replace my tranny. They did not stand behind their words. Floor mats. They couldn't even follow up and get me floor mats after spending nearly $20k with them. After a few months, the car clunks rattles and squeaks - but whatever, it's a used car, I'll get it fixed. I also didn't appreciate the extra $1k in options added on that weren't explained to me, just "sign here please." Didn't figure it out until a few days later when reading the contract. My fault I suppose. Would I recommend them? Not really. They're okay for getting you into a car and finding financing that works. My husband is a mechanic so I have an advantage most don't, but for those who have to pay for their repairs, I'd tell them to really hesitate before buying one their cars. read more

It is exactly what you think it might be...a sketchy, fly by night auto seller. Granted, my car overall has been solid, but that is only after investing near three grand additional into it. My experience buying my first car was great here. From before I even came to the lot John was being very communicative with me about the car I was interested in. When I got there they knew I was coming and promptly pulled the car up which looked exactly like the pictures. We went for a test drive and everything was great! We looked over finances and the manager helped me understand the process better and explained about the financing to me. We went to lunch to think about it and we decided to get the car! We let them know and we're able to come back later to sign the papers and get the keys. I got there at 7 and Sergio the financial manager had all of my papers ready and laid out and made the process very simple and fast. I was able to get the keys in about an hour. The next day I was having an issue getting my gas door to open and I was worried I was going to be stuck with fixing it. I was looking for a Honda Element or a Toyota Tacoma when I visited Cypress Motors this weekend. They had two Elements, and a number of Tacomas all in my price range ($13k-$18k), so I was really impressed with their inventory. My salesperson, Sean, was happy to show me anything I wanted. He even crawled around in the Element to show me all of the different seat configurations. I ended up going on four test drives, including an Infinity FX that was BEAUTIFUL! Sean gave me good advice on which cars were the most reliable when we discussed the differences in all the SUV's on the market. I didn't feel pressured, and being a female, I really appreciated that.
