I think they knew what the were selling so they used their OBDII Sanner and wiped the error before my short test drive so the issue didn't even register till the next day. these people are scam artists. they sell garbage here, watch out. the car they sold me on second day after driving around the check engine light came on, and there was noise in the transmission, and the code was The P0523 code on a 2015 Dodge Journey STX AWD indicates a high engine oil pressure reading, meaning the powertrain control module (PCM) detects an abnormally high voltage signal from the engine oil pressure sensor. Common causes include a faulty sensor, wiring issues, incorrect oil type or level, or internal engine problems like a restricted oil passage or a malfunctioning oil pump. Buyer beware. Do your homework and look elsewhere. My purchase process was riddled with red flags looking back. First off.. read the fine print!! The price is listed with discounts that are rarely met. Trade ins have to meet strict criteria, financing discount only applies if you use one of there oddball no name companies at an interest rate that is insanity. I had financing already approved at a local credit union and the credit union refused to fund the loan because of their internal ratings, and red flags about the dealership. In fact i couldn't find a local credit union or bank that would do business with them. I've bought a lot of vehicles and never had that happen. Then when final paperwork comes you are hit with 1800$ for door edge guards (59$ on Amazon) window tint and a GPS tracker to provide security and track your vehicle if stolen. The GPS tracker is worthless, it plugs into the Obd2 port and anyone that stole your car would remove it in the first 10 seconds. It just plugs in. When i picked up my vehicle Deven ran it through the car wash and an ABS light was on when he got back. Their in house mechanic assured me the connection was loose and got water in it, I was suspect but accepted the explanation. I was also told they will take care of it if it returns. While I was there I also commented twice that the windows did not look tinted but I was assured by my salesman that it was and he watched them do it. The next day it rains and guess what? I have an ABS code for the exact same problem, clearly there's an issue and the connector wasn't loose. It also felt like you are baking while sitting in the driver seat. I take the vehicle over to my tint shop and there is absolutely no tint on the entire vehicle. The back windows have privacy glass from the factory but the much hyped ceramic tint they talked about and charged me for was nowhere to be found. I now have a 425$ tint bill on top of the 1800$ I already paid. When I ran the codes and looked further at my local dealership I found out that the ABS code had been deleted several times and was a pending code. I also found a mobile mechanic that did an inspection on this vehicle and he found the same thing before I even purchased it. They knew it was there and just continued to delete it. Their solution is for me to take an entire day and drive up from Tucson so they can look at it. The same person who continued to delete the codes can "look at it" again. You looked at it several times and had the opportunity to do the right thing. I think paying to have the windows tinted locally in Tucson would be a fair compromise to the entire situation but I have emailed and called the general manager and sales manager and got no response. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY. This is a sketchy company. Steven and the service department are terrible people and wanted to fight me after I called them out on terrible service. It initially started when my sister noticed gas leaking from the bottom of her tank and a really strong smell of gas. She took It in to see if it was under warranty. They kept the car for 2 days. They charged her a diagnosis fee and said it was the fuel pump and it wasnt covered under kia or the extended warranty and will cost 1300 to replace. (THIS IS DURING CHRISTMAS TIME) My sister asked me about all this and something didn't seem right. -1st they let my sister drive off with a known gas leak and didn't make her sign a waiver form. -2nd the pictures they provide only showed the under side of the gas tank. (Which is the reason she took it there) No actual pictures of the leak. My sister is self sufficient, so when she asked me for help I know somethings not right. I LOOKED INTO IT AND FOUND THE FUEL PUMP WAS UNDER WARRANTY. AS A PERSON OF THE TRADES I KNOW WHEN I SMELL BS. I found the leak in under 20 min. we took it to kia and it was infact covered under warranty and we got it replaced for FREE!!!!!!! Now I'm mad because they took 175 or however much they charge for a diagnosis from my sister and never diagnosed It and than wanted 1300. I confronted them about the situation, but they were giving me run around answers. I told them I don't play that bs. I'm not running around the city for a 170 to make me look like a fool. I do this for a living. All I'm asking is for the 170 for my sister, And how I want a refund for my sister for a terrible diagnosis. They stated they did a good diagnosis. I next stated that if my sister would have paid you for the fuel pump you would have took my families money in a time of need. Just find a better place. First off, pay attention to the added cost then they give a "discount" for using their financing. I know the price you are seeing online looks good, but pay attention to all the fees they add. Read the fine print, they act like you are getting a discount because they add a fee and then take it back. Even though my credit was excellent, the rate was not good and was told they're a small place and don't get the best rates, but financing rates are reflective on the compensation the lender pays the dealer, so they are just making a lot on the financing. I get used car dealers are all tough to deal with, but the worst part is I purchased a car from them 3 weeks ago with a trade in and as of today, my old loan has not been paid off. I have called every day this week and get passed around and no calls back and no results. I was told it was sent out and asked for the tracking info on the check and they can't provide that. I hate to write this review, but it's needed. Short story- the car keeps breaking down & I was left stranded in another state, which I still don't have my car back after 45 days due to ongoing mechanical issues. Auto house is NOT who you want to purchase from. Trust me. The long version- In Feb of 2023 I bought a Jeep from the dealership, a car I have wanted as long as I can remember. The process of getting the car was fine but that evening after purchasing it I noticed some red flags, things like the hard top didn't sound like it was on all the way & things like the "touch screen radio" they advertised didn't work at all. The dealership did try to look at these things but ultimately found nothing wrong. The very next day, not even 24 hours after, I decided I wanted my original car back because I didn't trust this jeep. They said they can't do that. Legally they didn't have to, but ethically after one day, they should have. As time went on I found out that the radio is only compatible with android phones & had no way of connecting except with wifi, I was told I would need to replace it to use apple car play for music or GPS. The roof in fact was NOT on, because it was missing parts. I fixed that by purchasing the parts. Weird things started to come out of the vents, like sticks of incense. This has me asking "did they even look at this car before selling it???" The car squeaks & screeches over any & all bumps. The brakes squeal & I emailed about this just after I bought it, no response on that. Have to hit them so hard to stop the car. About 60 days after my purchase date my car over heated on my way home from school & I had to bring it in to be serviced. One of the MAIN points I stressed to this dealer is I am in my last year of nursing school, I need something reliable, I go to hospitals all over the valley. The service manager said "Wow its barely been 60 days" when I had it fixed. Paid the deductible & moved on. Well, on July 5th 2023 my car overheated AGAIN while I was in Elko, Nevada for my father in laws funeral. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere, no way to get to Salt Lake (closest airport) & I had a nursing clinical in one day. This was an unexpected funeral but I was confident my car would get me there & back safe. I was WRONG. This not only cost me so much time, stress & money in a time of grief; it's almost October & I am still without a car because they are seeing all kinds of red flags at this mechanic shop, who are two very kind and reliable women that I actually trust. Interesting that this wasn't mentioned when serviced at AutoHouse? When I emailed the service manager he pretty much said that's terrible, best of luck. I truly believe that this car was sold to me knowing there were major issues & this is why they didn't want to take it back. I am terrified to drive this car back to Arizona from Nevada. I am scared to even bring it into the desert because what if I get stranded again? This isn't a normal feeling to have with a vehicle that's meant to be taken off roading & should definitely be able to handle a 12 hour drive. If you are in a season of your life where purchasing a car is less about reliability, I think auto house is fine. If you are looking for something honest & reliable, look elsewhere. Look at dealerships that are confident enough to guarantee their cars, not just get them out of their possession. There is a reason people hate buying cars, things like this happen. I question the honesty & integrity of this dealership. Is it worth the money to do bad business? It must be. The person who sold me this car doesn't even work here anymore so I think this says a lot. Thank you Auto House. I hope nobody treats your daughters the way you've treated me. Update: Auto house had to shut down a location for "sketchy" and unethical behavior. They also claimed they did none of the above mentioned when I reported them to the BBB. I was without the car for over 3 months and it has ongoing electrical issues and more. I was looking at the 2019 grey Tahoe with 120000 miles. It has some small issues with it I didn't even get to mention. I presented $20,000 cash and was shoved away. I made time with my wife, and came there to make a purchase. I think it was one of the worst sales presentations ever. Travis was helpful when I got there and said it was a close family business. Where do I start, if I could leave something lower than one star I would. My dad had been having issue with his last truck so I wanted to get him something new, I came to auto house because we had seen a car he liked. We did a test drive thought everything worked/seemed fine. We finalized everything and a couple of days later we were having issues with the truck. I call and they tell me to bring it in which we do they kept it for about three days gave it back and it was still having issues. A couple months pass I take it back to the shop and they tell me they can't fix it or they can't do anything to help us. The absolute definition of car sales stereotype. Was interested in a 2021 GLC with a bad car fax. Sent them my trade information which included pictures of some existing damage. They gave me a total with a warranty, gap and $500 tint. I asked for all that crap to be removed and was told they added the ceramic tint to the vehicle (even tho the carfax shows it was tinted when new). I made an offer that was 1300 less. They then told me they need to see my trade. I asked if they reviewed the pictures. They said no and asked if I was quoted to repair the damage, I said yes 1500 they then reduced my trade by 1500 and said they didn't review the photos which were sent in my very first contact with them. It's their mistake to not review all the information presented to them. Total amateur mistake. I offered another $500 because of their mistake. I wanted to be at 32500 out the door which means to most people that's what the total is. The GM Jeff called me to say they can do that with 2k down. In what world is that acceptable? The epitome of bait & switch is Auto House.... I reached out for a vehicle priced online (see screenshots attached) for $11,982. When I called I was told that's actually not the real price. I told them I would pay cash. I was told I would be followed up with shortly. The salesman was great. He texted me additional pictures and emailed me the CarFax immediately, per his word. I was told the advertised price was only if I "qualified" for their discounts and they would follow up with me on a cash price. Take a guess at the price they sent me...The price (see attached) was 60% HIGHER than the advertised price. There are identical cars with HALF the mileage for the ACTUAL price they offered me (see attached). How they are able to advertise like this on AutoTrader, etc. is beyond me. It was so unreal that I had to write this email as a warning, especially for older folks, or perhaps those new to our country or language, that this kind of deception is not acceptable or normal and is down right shady. They added $1,798 in FEES for window tint (the car already had tint and there's no way they installed it as the vehicle hadn't even been detailed yet as it had only been posted for sale online the night before I reached out to them even the pics I was sent showed the interior was dirty) the other fees were for GPS and door edge guards. I wanted neither of these (see highlighted in red on invoice attached). This place is a rip off shop. Buyer beware. Normally, I wouldn't refer someone I had no experience with but Trevor has order from my business, and I didn't need another vehicle. Well, two days ago that changed. I needed a vehicle and I contacted Trevor. To be honest, the stereotypical thoughts about car sales folks came to mind. Trevor surprised me. He was hyper focused on practicality and functionality for my needs. We looked at about 10 vehicles, drove a few, and I truly felt I found the best vehicle. DON'T EVER BUY A CAR HERE! This is the worst place to buy a car. I worked with the Marcella & Frenchy. They got me in the car but the car had blinking mileage and I smelt coolant. I brought the car back the next day and they said they would fix the issue of the mileage and nothing was wrong with the a/c unit. Well... not even 6 months later, the car started overheating and then the engine went out and hadn't had the vehicle for a year, let alone 8 months. So I cancelled the gap insurance and Auto House is NOW refusing to issue the gap insurance check to the Finance Company. They are giving excuses stating they moved from Tempe to Phoenix (claiming it's a "different" business) and they are not responsible for anything pertaining to the Tempe Location but still have some of the same individual working at this new Phoenix Location. The individual at this company has now asked me to stop calling this morning because I have questions. They refuse to answer questions as to WHY the Tempe location closed. I'm really considering a lawsuit now. But they will offer me a discounted rate for a new/used engine. CRAZY. They could have replaced the engine under warranty the day AFTER I bought the 2016 Chrysler 200-15 day Lemon Law. Jeff at this Phoenix location has no useful information and appears not to be a help either. How is a check sent to your company, no one has documentation of it and I'm given a address to write a letter to inquire about my check. This is unacceptable business practices! This engine issue would have and could have been avoided if they had fixed my vehicle the very next day!!!!! Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong. Period. You don't just take people's money and except them to just be done with the issue. We work too hard for our money to just to throw it away on a NON-WORKING CAR! I was scammed by the salesman jeff- he took my phone out of my hands when i was setting up insurance and made changes without explaining them to me and made me not worry- i was hit by a drunk driver and come to find out i had NO underinsured motor or underinsured injury, i had NO protection and i had to pay and suffer for months due to the ignorance of him doing that to my insurance. i am young and unexperienced and he knew i was going on a limb trusting him- im out of 15k now. read more

This is the worst place to buy car, they are very dishonest especially if you get a loan. they tack on car service for extra $4600 without telling you, tack on $1200 in gap insurance without telling you. Don't leave without a copy of what you signed because they give you zero paperwork or email of what you just purchased! They are hoping you won't notice all the expenses they tacked on until it's too late to get full refund! 1st car- 2014 Ford Fusion ( this car was a gov. Fleet vehicle) they ripped up the carpet to take out a speed regulator (they asked me if I didn't mind having one ) like who wants to go under 65 miles an hr daily? The car was recalled due to drive train issues a year prior to my purchase. My car was in their "repair shop" no less than 6 times in 1 year. After being informed (meaning I called them and told them) they didn't offer to buy the car back, nope instead they wanted me to get another vehicle to cover the loan bc they refused to cancel it. 2nd car- 2015 Chevy Cruz this car was mainly for my daughter since I had just started working from home. The car had been driven for less than a month and less than 500 miles (local driving) the car had gasket issues and needed to p be repaired less than a month in. I took it to their mechanic, tell me why I saw this idiot woman driving my car on the freeway like a bay out of hell, I called in to complain; if the car wasn't already jacked up, it really was now. They refuse to cancel this loan (now mind you my car note went from 342.93 to 380.00 not that bad) the car was super cute and sporty but a lemon none the less. 3rd car -2018 Kia Optima... now this is where the problems come in bc not only is the car on the lot the whole time I'm going back and forth but they want $500 for this car initially I was okay with it I till I started doing some reflection and math. I have them the car back in less than a month and wanted to cancel my contract. They refused to do so, so now they've sold the car for 14k, less than the 20k they charged me for it. I have an outstanding bill that I am suing them for. No way am I paying 6k for a car I only had for a month. Never do business with Autohouse or Date Street they are predatory lenders who sell recalled and unsafe vehicles to the public. The only person who made me feel like I wasn't getting scammed initially was Dave at Autohouse I feel sorry for him that he works for such shady people, he is a really cool guy. We bought my daughters car here a little while ago and still gota say hands down the BEST car buying experience ever! Worked with Dan and he made it as pain free as possible. Didn't try to sell me a tinted window warranty or ask me to fill out a loan app even though we had our own financing. (Some places do that!) It was straight forward, 1) find a car you like. 2) check it out and see if it's a fit. 3) agree on a price. 4) drive the thing home. We were in and out in under 40 minutes!
