My neighbors recommended them. Called and they got my windshield the next day. I couldn't get in and they called to check I was still coming and gave me options. I missed getting my new battery in time and they said if I got in before 9:15 am, they would have it out same day and they did. Cleaned up glass shards perfectly, sealed windshield and took care of some small issues and informed me about all of them. Any chips in the first year are covered free. After that $60. Owner is nice guy, very helpful. I won't ever go or recommend any other place for windshield or glass work or replacement. Fantastic!!! read more

Brought my CR-V in for a driver's power window regulator repair. In the middle of the repair the technician called me out to show me that my door latch/lock was not working properly all of the sudden. I had no previous issues with the door prior to the technician removing my door panel to repair the window regulator. They told me "we only do windows and glass, not doors". I expressed my displeasure at leaving the shop with an issue that I had never had before I went there. I am a 6'4" man now having to resort to crawling in and out of the passenger door to enter and exit my vehicle. I called the owner right after reluctantly paying for the window repair and let him know that they were liable for the new door issue. He adamantly refused to compensate me or reimburse me to repair the door that they broke. He offered to take a look at it the following morning so I brought the car back. He removed the door panel again and basically just started banging around on the lock, accused me of lying about not having the problem prior to the window repair, and again refused to reimburse me for the needed door repair. My next step was to call my credit card company and dispute the charge as the new repairs would basically equal what I paid for the window. The credit card company sent me a report of the conversation with the owner (the owner wasn't even the one that completed the window repair) and the owner stated that my door had an issue when I brought it in. Bold faced lie. He also shared a copy of my receipt that showed I "rated" my experience as "Positive". Completely dishonest. I am redisputing these charges and am going to take this as far as it needs to be taken to ensure that not one of my dollars is paid to this man. read more

I suddenly noticed a small chip on my windshield. Might have been hit by a small rock while on toll road. After looking at some shops, and seeing the good reviews on Yelp, I decided to get a quote from AGS. I got a prompt reply from Mark and he said it would cost around $54 if the size is less than a quarter. It was. He said he could give me an appointment tomorrow morning. When I told him that I am just 10 mins away from his shop he asked me to come over. The repair process took around 25 mins. The guy who repaired was a very nice guy. He told me he has put the adhesive nicely and it should be good. I am sure they did a great job. Overall I really liked their attitude. Entering their location made me a little worried though. These guys answered the phone immediately on a Sunday morning, and gave me a quote for replacing a windshield that was over $100 cheaper than what I was quoted by one of the major national chains. While they couldn't fit me in that afternoon, they said they'd come to me and do the job in my driveway the next day. Can't beat that. Lupe and his colleague (Chris?) showed up a few minutes before the given time window, but luckily I had just arrived home. They estimated 45 minutes to do the job, and were done in significantly less. From the minute I turned over the keys to the minute I gave them my credit card info was less than half an hour. That's impressive, and so far the windshield hasn't fallen out. They were even able to save my registration and inspection stickers and my toll tag (we'll see if that one still works next time I head up north . . .) So why only 4 instead of 5 stars? The cleanup left a lot to be desired, inside and outside the car. There were a lot of rubber molding strip remnants left on my driveway for me to clean up. And the dashboard and console were covered in a fair amount of black dust (which I still need to hit with the dustbuster). Doing the job fast and right is huge, but I would have rather they took another 5-10 minutes to leave things as they found them. Would I call them again if another jackass in an F-350 pulling a trailer flies by me at 90 in the left lane and throws up a rock into my windshield? Absolutely. But I'd ask them at the outset to please take a minute to clean up when they're done. read more

I haven't written a review in a very long time but I felt compelled to do so today. Cheap and fast and they came to my car. Had to replace my passenger window bc it got smashed through by a buncha turds. I was quoted $288 with Safelite when I checked online. Auto Glass cost me $152. That is $136 cheaper. They did a great job vacuuming all the glass inside of the car and sweeping up the glass outside.Make sure to park somewhere where there is enough room for their truck to park next to you and do their thing. Only had 5 bucks in cash to tip but the guy really appreciated it. read more

Had a front side window broken out of my SUV by a child's flying rock at the preschool I work at. Called around 3pm, was able to bring it in an hour later. Service was quicker than estimated, and done right. Also, cheaper than 3 other places I called by $40 at least, and they'll come to you for an extra $10! These folks replaced my windshield on time in about an hour and did a fine job. Their estimate was right on target and I'm grateful for not being upcharged as sometimes happens with auto repairs. I got quotes from four different Austin auto glass shops and AGS was the most reasonable price and as far as I can tell the glass is a direct replacement for what was there before. The waiting 'room' leaves a little to be desired but hey - I don't mind if it saves me some $$$ when they keep their overhead down. Excellent service I am pleased that my windshield is replaced at a great price. My jeep Cherokee was behind a semi truck and kicked a large rock to my windshield. I was very mad and called other places around and they wanted to charge me $400 dollars to get it replaced. These guys are amazing! I emailed for a quote and had a quote back in less than 1 hour and then called to ask some more questions and found they do everything and are very close to my office so I can drop off my car during lunch and then pick it up before work ends. I dropped off my car around 10am today and had it back by 12noon, man that was fast... They also remove all my affixed items, my alarm antenna, my txtag sticker and my TX State sticker.. I thought I would have to have some of those replaced but they were able to replace them all! SWEET!!!! I was very happy to see that the total price here was about 75.00 less than Safelight, who I was going to go with at first. Like an idiot, I was backing my new van up under a tree at my accountant's office. Didn't realize one limb was hanging low right at the top of the van. Backes right into it and exploded one of the back windows. I was supposed to drop it off to get wrapped at the end of the day too. I had to get that window fixed to get my wrap put on. This happened at 10:30. Made a few calls and they had it in stock. They offered to come to me, but my shop is really close to theirs. It just worked out better for me to go to them. We set up a 1 PM appointment. I had my meeting, grabbed lunch, and got to their place about 12:50. I left with my new window at 1:15. The price was right too. They even vacuumed out the old glass from a pair of boots I had at the back of my van. Great job and I highly recommend. read more

Lisa was so sweet on the phone, and the guy who came out to our house, Robert was amazingly kind, classy, and had a warm spirit that you pray your going to get when you have someone come to your home!! My mom and I offered him a water inside and he said, "Well I'd love to, and I appreciate the offer, but if you could just put some ice and water in my cup, I'd appreciate it!". Great gal on the phone too. My State Farm agent, whom I still adore, said to go to safelite repair... And of course I knew the jingle.. But when I called for a quote they said about $350 for what I got done for $150 with Auto Glass Solutions. AGS had to get new rubber around the edges -- something that the gal in the phone diligently warned me might happen for $25 extra. So my Nissan Altima, 2004 was replaced for $180ish after tax at my home!! read more
