I came into this shop purely because of it's proximity to the location I was at when I poked a hole in my AC condenser. I'm Not super knowledgeable with automotive AC systems when I started looking to repair my car but when I pulled in there one of the mechanics working there within a few minutes had me up to speed and knowledgeable about things like R-1234yf freon and how everything works by the end of the conversation I felt comfortable with the work that needed to be done and gave he quoted me a great price. The work was done quickly at the quoted price. Since that time I've had several issues come up with the cooling system and even corrected problems related to the main computer module, electrical problems and even a Compressor clutch problem. and they have fixed all of it for very reasonable prices and in a timely fashion. The guy I spoke with on my first visit there even stayed there 3hours after they were closed to fix a problem and never mentioned what time it was or charged me for the extra hours. He is the same guy that always answers the phone every day when you call them and he's as honest and straight forward as they come.. He's also the owner which I didn't find out until about my 3rd trip in. I would recommend them to anyone! For all the frustration that comes with a broken car AC in the middle of summer this was a huge break and a resource I'll use again as well recommend to family and friends. Absolutely the best. Steve came highly recommended with good reason. After a nightmare experience with another shop, I told Steve what was going on and he put in a new relay and checked my freon. The other place had put in too much freon. That afternoon, my problem resurfaced. I brought it back to Steve who then discovered the other shop had put in a rebuilt compressor, not a new one they said went in. He told me to go back to the other shop and demand they fix it, which I did. Not only that, he refunded my money on the spot because he said he didn't fix it. I love this shop. Steve is honest and down to earth. They charge you for the work they actually do, and nothing more. Being a novice mechanic myself, any negative reviews you see for this place are people that just don't know how this stuff works. I've been dealing with Auto Air Pro for over four years now and I typically don't do reviews until I've had multiple experiences. My first was with my Suburban which I had taken to two other A/C shops and had spent over $300 trying to repair a leak. A friend recommended Auto Air Pro and that's where I've been going since. They found the leak behind my firewall. They had to remove my dash and center console to get to the radiator core. My A/C is still ice cold to this day. I had an older Honda Civic that was in an accident and they completely redid the A/C at a great price. I also always get my A/C on all my cars recharged when needed. Steve and his crew are the best. I went in without my husband. Steve helped me out explaining what he saw was wrong showing me the messed up hoses, Tried to get my a/c fixed at a few places that didn't have the proper equipment. I googled and found AutoAir Pro. Steve the owner is super friendly and took my car in without an appointment. He quoted me a few hundred which was the same price range as the others so that was fine. Because of the extended work my car needed he offered to drive me home in Perris and when the work was done he also picked me up. After a few hose changes and the refill, A/c is working great now! I have never met a repair shop owner as honest and genuinely caring as Steve. His brother and his son work there too. I have gone to Air Pros for many years for my automotive A/C needs but this time the problem was persistent and nearly undetectable. The system in my 03 GMC HD 2500 would drain down over a period of several months. Then, always on the first really hot day, it would quit working all together. A couple of those times, Air Pros would check the system, re-charge it and send me on my way free of charge. It was finally concluded that it could be a leak in the under dash evaporator, about a $1000 repair job. I dropped my truck off on a Thursday preparing for the worst. Saturday it was still unknown if that was the problem. Dye and detectors were not revealing anything. Sunday, Steve called and said he would like to keep my truck one more day for more testing. Monday, I got a call that my truck was ready. I arrived checkbook in hand only to find out the evaporator was good. They had finally determined that it was not the evaporator but a minuscule leak in an "O" ring. They also re-crimped a fitting on a relatively new hose which did not show a leak, but "just wasn't right". I wanted to pay for his time, but Steve said, "No charge", once again. Who does that? After wasting my time and money at three other places, Auto Air Pro properly diagnosed the problem and did the repair.

On my way home from a trip, I noticed the AC wasn't blowing cold air anymore. When I got home I popped the hood and noticed one of the AC hoses was frosted over. Something I've never encountered before. I'm thinking oh no, gonna cost me $$$ to get it fixed. I asked my neighbor who has the same vehicle if he knew what was the problem. He didn't, but highly recommended this place as he has been there a few times. I also did a search on Yelp and this place had really good reviews. So, I dropped by, introduced myself, told him the problem and shows him the pics I took. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and had the bad part in stock. The total fee was very reasonable. He took the time to listen to me as opposed to just trying to finish with me and get onto the next customer. In other words, I felt like a customer and not just a "number".
