I just got back from there today and am very satisfied. Steve is very knowledgeable about auto AC and most of all, very honest. I took my car to three different shops and nobody knew what was wrong with the ac, however, Steve figured it out and it's blowing cold air again now. stayed much longer after hours to finish repairing my condenser, so I could use my car the next day. I highly recommend him and his shop to anyone looking to repair their auto AC. read more

Great service, good communication between staff and customers. Great repair price and done the same day!I was afraid to get my AC repaired thinking It would cost my thousands like I had been told and be carless for a week.....not here!! If I had to come back-this is the place read more

Dropped my car off that had no AC for months. They fund the problem within minutes. Prices were super good!!!

I've been dealing with Auto Air Pro for over four years now and I typically don't do reviews until I've had multiple experiences. My first was with my Suburban which I had taken to two other A/C shops and had spent over $300 trying to repair a leak. A friend recommended Auto Air Pro and that's where I've been going since. They found the leak behind my firewall. They had to remove my dash and center console to get to the radiator core. My A/C is still ice cold to this day. I had an older Honda Civic that was in an accident and they completely redid the A/C at a great price. I also always get my A/C on all my cars recharged when needed. Steve and his crew are the best. Very reasonable when it comes to price and they are extremely honest. read more

I came into this shop purely because of it's proximity to the location I was at when I poked a hole in my AC condenser. I'm Not super knowledgeable with automotive AC systems when I started looking to repair my car but when I pulled in there one of the mechanics working there within a few minutes had me up to speed and knowledgeable about things like R-1234yf freon and how everything works by the end of the conversation I felt comfortable with the work that needed to be done and gave he quoted me a great price. The work was done quickly at the quoted price. Since that time I've had several issues come up with the cooling system and even corrected problems related to the main computer module, electrical problems and even a Compressor clutch problem. and they have fixed all of it for very reasonable prices and in a timely fashion. The guy I spoke with on my first visit there even stayed there 3hours after they were closed to fix a problem and never mentioned what time it was or charged me for the extra hours. He is the same guy that always answers the phone every day when you call them and he's as honest and straight forward as they come.. He's also the owner which I didn't find out until about my 3rd trip in. I would recommend them to anyone! For all the frustration that comes with a broken car AC in the middle of summer this was a huge break and a resource I'll use again as well recommend to family and friends. Thanks Steve you and your guys have a customer for years to come. read more

I went in without my husband. Steve helped me out explaining what he saw was wrong showing me the messed up hoses, Tried to get my a/c fixed at a few places that didn't have the proper equipment. I googled and found AutoAir Pro. Steve the owner is super friendly and took my car in without an appointment. He quoted me a few hundred which was the same price range as the others so that was fine. Because of the extended work my car needed he offered to drive me home in Perris and when the work was done he also picked me up. After a few hose changes and the refill, A/c is working great now! After all was said and done my price was almost half of what he quoted me . Thank you again Steve read more

Absolutely the best. Steve came highly recommended with good reason. After a nightmare experience with another shop, I told Steve what was going on and he put in a new relay and checked my freon. The other place had put in too much freon. That afternoon, my problem resurfaced. I brought it back to Steve who then discovered the other shop had put in a rebuilt compressor, not a new one they said went in. He told me to go back to the other shop and demand they fix it, which I did. Not only that, he refunded my money on the spot because he said he didn't fix it. I will tell everyone if you have a/c issues, take it to Steve and Auto Air Pro. Hands down the best. I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more

Wow! This guy Steve is incredible. Ac has been out for about a month and my main auto shop wanted to charge me $900 for what Steve fixed for free! Very fast service. He saved me a ton of $$. Do yourself a favor and go to Auto Air Pro! read more

i was looking to get my motorhome air fixed on a saturday. everyplace i called wanted me to come in the following week and leave it with them but steve knew over the phone what the problem was by me explaining what was going on, told me to come in at 3:00pm and he would take care of it, honored the price he quoted and got it done lickety split. steve is "the auto air pro!!!!" he fixed my mothers car 7-years ago and it is still blowing cold air. you just can't go wrong with experience. you get what you pay for. he may seem quick at times but that is because he don't have to figure it out he knows exactly how to solve your car's ac problem.. i am pleased with his quick service and now i have cold ac blowing and keeping the motorhome cool. read more

Auto Air Pro is the BEST place to take your vehicle! I was lucky enough to find them back in 2000. They are honest and have integrity. They go out of their way to accommodate you. Any A/C problems with your vehicle, please do yourself a favor and go see Steve and the crew over at Auto Air Pro in Menifee. I was without A/C for a few weeks in this summer heat and couldn't take it any longer so I decided to look up reviews and recommendations on yelp. This spot had great reviews and was local, score!! Family owned and operated for 20+ years! When the job was done, Steve even sent his son to pick me and my kids up at home and take us back to the shop to pay. Won't go anywhere else for future A/C work needed. 5 stars!! read more

I love this shop. Steve is honest and down to earth. They charge you for the work they actually do, and nothing more. Being a novice mechanic myself, any negative reviews you see for this place are people that just don't know how this stuff works. Sometimes it takes dye and a few quick trips to the shop to find all the leaks. That being said, Steve is knowledgeable and very thorough! read more

Thank you for the great service and for getting my ac working for less then you quoted. It's nice knowing there are still honest mechanics.

Great place for auto ac issues and I recommend them. Great customer service and honest. This is second time in 7 yrs that I've gone to them for help and what with the heat, dust and age of my Honda Odyssey...they manage to find the problem and fix it at a reasonable price! read more

Auto Air Pro is awesome!!! Steve(the owner) and his crew are fast and efficient. I brought my Chevy Tahoe in and I needed a new actuator and a blower. Steve ordered the parts and had them delivered to his shop the same day within the hour! Don't expect a fancy waiting room with TV and espresso machine, but if you need a fix for your car's A/C, this is the place to go. Took my wife's Toyota MR2 here after a couple other shops declined to help (or seemed to be really grumpy) and Steve and company took good care of me. In and out quickly with a re-charge and leak test. read more

After being quoted $500 at the Toyota I looked for other options to why my ac wasn't working, so happy I found them! Came in for a quote and they fixed my ac for only $100!! Makes me question whether the Toyota even inspected my car. The men here are very honest and they got the job done in a timely manner. Just be prepared to drop off your car for them to quote you. read more

These guys ROCK! If your A/C has gone wrong look no further. They evacuated my system and recovered the refrigerant so I could do my own repairs and then recharged my system. After taking my car to a chain auto repair place where I was charged $100 for an inspection and quoted a $1000 for needing a new compressor, I was referred to Auto Air Pro. The staff was friendly and so very honest. He said I didn't need a compressor and that it just needed a service. I walked out paying $86. Thank you to the guys. It is so nice to see that there are honest businesses out there. read more

I have never met a repair shop owner as honest and genuinely caring as Steve. His brother and his son work there too. I have gone to Air Pros for many years for my automotive A/C needs but this time the problem was persistent and nearly undetectable. The system in my 03 GMC HD 2500 would drain down over a period of several months. Then, always on the first really hot day, it would quit working all together. A couple of those times, Air Pros would check the system, re-charge it and send me on my way free of charge. It was finally concluded that it could be a leak in the under dash evaporator, about a $1000 repair job. I dropped my truck off on a Thursday preparing for the worst. Saturday it was still unknown if that was the problem. Dye and detectors were not revealing anything. Sunday, Steve called and said he would like to keep my truck one more day for more testing. Monday, I got a call that my truck was ready. I arrived checkbook in hand only to find out the evaporator was good. They had finally determined that it was not the evaporator but a minuscule leak in an "O" ring. They also re-crimped a fitting on a relatively new hose which did not show a leak, but "just wasn't right". I wanted to pay for his time, but Steve said, "No charge", once again. Who does that? He said he just wanted to make it right after the times I had been in over the last year. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AIR PROS FOR THEIR CARING, HONESTY, AND INTEGRITY. read more

Brought my wife's 2011 VW Jetta in this morning and Steve and his sons were able to get her A/C back to proper ice cold temps the same day. It's nice to have an honest business available in our area. Steven (Steve's son) even brought me home as I didn't have a ride while they worked their magic on the car. Will be coming back to bring another car in for A/C service. Top notch service and stand up businessowners. Great job and thank you so much! read more
