Wow, where do I even start?! I needed to find a trustworthy mechanic for my teen daughter's car since she'll be commuting to college soon. I wanted to make sure her car was 100% safe for those longer drives. She had been worried about her brakes and thought her alignment might be off, so I decided to take action. Normally, I handle her oil changes and tire rotations myself, but this called for a professional! I've been to plenty of auto shops in the area over the years, but none have ever impressed me with both honest service and reasonable pricing--until now! My daughter reminded me that her old dance studio used to be next to an auto repair shop, which I'd never really noticed before. So, I went online, quickly booked an appointment, and decided to give New Hub Auto Service a try. From the moment I walked in, I knew I made the right choice. Jason greeted me warmly, and I explained all the concerns we had with my daughter's car. I also mentioned I wanted the transmission fluid checked just to be thorough. Despite the fact that the shop was very busy, Jason assured me they'd get started on the car right away and have updates for me by the next day. But here's where they went above and beyond: just a few hours later, Jason called me with an update! He detailed everything they checked--he said they pulled all the tires, inspected the brakes, hoses, fluids, and even the tires--and guess what? Everything was absolutely fine! The brakes still had 70% on the pads, there were no alignment issues, and the car was totally road-ready. They even took it on the freeway to ensure everything drove smoothly! Let me tell you, an unethical shop could have easily taken advantage of this situation. They could have claimed the car needed new brake pads, an alignment, or unnecessary fluid changes. But not Jason, not New Hub Auto! Instead, they were completely honest and transparent every step of the way. When my daughter and I went to pick up her car, Jason went over everything again and reassured her that the vehicle was in great shape. His genuine care and attention to detail gave both of us so much peace of mind. I truly can't thank New Hub Auto Service enough for their outstanding customer service, honesty, and integrity. It's rare to find a shop like this, and I'm thrilled to say I'll be bringing all of our family vehicles here from now on. Thank you, Jason and New Hub Auto, for an incredible experience! read more

I just had an oil change and they were very fair with the synthetic oil change. Keep in mind that the days of $30.00 oil changes are gone. They were very professional and the place is immaculate. Great business in Menifee. read more

Took my 2021 Tacoma for a suspension inspection as a second opinion turns out everything was tip top, got an oil service tire rotation while it was there, Jason made it easy, l drop the truck off after hours got a callback first thing in the morning to confirm services to be performed. also had New Hub do all the necessary 120k services for 2016 Mazda 6, great job turns out we wont be needing a new car for an 120k miles. the cost was right, and the piece of mind is even better.. 10 out of 10.. read more

2017 Jeep 100,000 mile service. We move around a lot, so we haven't had a mechanic that we would consider "our go-to guy." This place fills the bill. It is a small, family-owned shop with 3 or 4 mechanics. They fit us in quickly for our 100,000 service. Their work and communication was great, with thorough explanations of worked needed and recommended. We certainly don't baby our Jeep, but it is our baby. His prices are reasonable. We'll be back. read more

So brought my dodge charger here for a second opinion...they charged $170 and I'm not convinced they even looked at the area in question. I knew some things needed to replaced and others I wanted to know if was needed. They told me nothing was wrong & sent me on my way 3hrs later. It needed replacement parts I got elsewhere and wouldn't recommend for a second opinion. read more

Jason makes this place friendly, professional and comfortable. Took my Trailblazer in a month ago for an oil change, brakes, and new rotors and was shocked at the product and services I received. Definitely my new mechanic for all my vehicles. The waiting area is completely comfortable with couches, coffee, tv, magazines and Jason for conversations to help time fly by when your waiting for your vehicle to be finished. I waited a month to post my review, and I admit that I haven't encountered any brake failures, or oil loss. Everything here is transparent, the mechanic and Jason will show you what is being done along with a visual inspection of your parts replacement and repairs. Price wise, they are cheaper than the dealerships and provide a way better customer interaction. I will be booking another appointment next week for my other vehicle. Hopefully I get the same level of satisfaction on my next visit. I will keep you posted. Also the owner walked in the shop when I was there. I told him how great Jason was and enjoyed our own conversation about my next visit. The only thing else that would make this place awesome is some coffee snacks. Just spoiled when I get pastry treats at the dealership. See you next week! read more

Positive experience. Didn't try to add services nor charge for unn repairs. Explained everything and showed car while on lift and explained car concerns without the upsell of unnecessary work. Professional and courteous. Clean waiting area with tv and cords to plug up electronics...comfy couch. Good location next to post office off of Haun, walking distance from various restaurant and shopping center if you have a wait. I felt comfortable dealing with them, and plan to return for future service and maintenance. read more

I've been going to Jason for years. I found him in 2022 I think when Carmax couldn't see my husband's malibu for a blinky check engine light for SIX WEEKS. Called up Jason at New Hub and he got it in the next morning. He did a full work up on it, nothing was wrong. Other than it being a hunk of junk. Fast foward to January 2025, I bought a new Jeep. Took it into him he did a full inspection, oil change and alignment on it. He found an oil leak that I took to Carmax while under their 90 day warranty that they claimed "didn't exist". Now we will fast forward to January 2026, where lo and behold, the oil leak that Jason found is now leaking into my driveway. He got me in right of way, found the source of the leak (goodbye oil cooler), told me it would take two days and sent me on my way. Well, he got it done in less than 24 hours. My Jeep made one heck of a mess in his shop, all over itself, everywhere, so I ended up with a residual leak that's been spitting into the driveway. I've called Jason probably 4 or 5 times since Thursday 2/5 and he has never made me feel like a bother. He told me if it was still leaking to get it into him ASAP to see if it's the rear main seal. (Leak seems to have stopped, so I think we're good here) He also saw our Malibu again in January for a second opinion (the transmission is shot) where he told me it has 18 check engine codes (first shop only addressed the transmission issues, which is fine, that's what it went in for..but still..)and it's not worth it to drop any money into it. He even tried shopping around to see if he could find a cheaper transmission. As a woman, I've been to a lot of shops that try to jerk you around and add extra things you don't need. I have never felt this way about Jason, and neither have any of my fellow Jeep girls who have gone there. I very highly recommend Jason. read more

Great service and fair price on my brake job. I am glad I found them. I will be back for more auto service.

I took my '95 Isuzu Rodeo in a month ago or so for an intermittent check engine light. Very hard to find a shop that has OBD1 diagnostics but they had it. After the scan I was told that it showed a weak negative terminal so it was replaced. I retrieved the vehicle only to find the light come on upon returning home. Called them back and they did some more testing without success so I picked it up the next day thinking it was incurable. After about a week of driving, voila! The light disappeared and the Rodeo has been flawless ever since. These guys are legit and my new go-to for everything mechanical! read more

I was told I need new brakes and rotors from Jiffy Lube off of Winchester.. And Jason and his team were honest and said I had around 10,000 more miles. Especially if you dont want to be taken advantage of, especially if you want to support good quality customer service. Thanks again boys! read more

This is way past due-My girlfriend over the holiday weekend in February in route back to San Diego with another girlfriend of ours-her car broke down. Not only was it a holiday BUT she did not know any place up in the area, who would answer the phone, who could truly help them out? It turned out her car of 24 years that held so many memories went bye-bye. So I drove her up to get all her things out of the car, and drive her back to San Diego as I did not have plans that day. While she was getting everything out of her car-we started to have another storm move in and I was trying to figure out how to exchange my wind shield wipers I had already bought. Jason came out and did it for me. I offered to pay him and he declined my offer. I could not believe he would not charge me something? When I was telling my girlfriend about this she started to explain how she found him. She had to start calling around and not everyone was answering that day. The ones that did answer, not all asked the questions he did nor gave his responses when she asked him a question. She felt very comfortable leaving her car with him. When he told her the truth about the car not truly being able to continue on with-he let her keep the car at his place and she found a company to donate it to for a worthy cause. They somehow all worked it out. I knew after he put in my windshield wipers he was a nice person, but after hearing what she said I knew I needed to include it in my review. I also have a friend who lives in Murrieta and I gave her his information. If she ever needs a mechanic she will be going to see Jason. Thank you Jason for everything and for taking care of my girlfriends when they got to your place after 3 hours on a freeway trying to get help. read more

Jason and his team are so cool! I love this mechanic shop and I'll never go anywhere else! I've dealt with plenty of other mechanic shops and no other place compares to here. Jason is very knowledgeable and easy going. They're fair on pricing and will charge you for only what needs to be done with no bs up charges. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

I found New Hub Auto Service by browsing during a roadside emergency while waiting for a tow. While traveling home to San Diego from Palm Springs, we called several local businesses in search of a shop to tow and repair my vehicle. Jason was professional and asked good questions about what happened and was honest with timeline for diagnostics. When we arrived by tow truck, he was just as professional and helpful. He was hospitable and offered us water after 3 hours on the freeway shoulder in the heat. Jason called me the very next day with the diagnostics report, sooner than he promised. If I ever meet anyone who lives near Menifee, I will definitely refer New Hub Auto Service! read more

Jason and his crew is amazing! Top notch, honest auto service. I would recommend anyone that needs service on their vehicle to go see them.

One thing I always worry about is honesty when taking my car to a mechanic and I had a little trouble with my serpentine belt. After they replaced it, it drove fine but the next day some weird things were happening. I was gearing up to hear a lie and some outrageous price to fix it...well they said the belt jumped track and they fixed it at no additional charge. Accountability and trust goes a long way with me. I will definitely continue to do business with them. Jason, who is the face of this company, is a very nice, straight forward and honest guy. Also, the waiting room and bathroom are very clean and comfy. They have wifi and cell phone chargers too. read more

Had my clutch and fly wheel replaced. Fast turn around but they forgot to put the skid plate back on which I noticed after I got home. Called New Hub and he told me he would look around for it. Not the answer I was hoping for. Next day I called and he told me they found it and to bring it back in. Well I did that this Monday and they did not apologize or even say how can we make it right. My time is worth something as is theirs. So not pleased I had to make the effort to get it fixed. How could you not remember to put a vehicle back together with all the parts befor giving it back to the customer? Customers are their bread and butter they should have at the verrrry least apologized, just saying. read more

We too were previous customers of Menifee Tire and Jason. Showed up for regular service and found out the business was now Integrity Tire. What a rip-off and hard-sell operation Integrity Tire turned out to be. Said we needed this and that to the tune of $2K. Left frustrated. Found Jason again at New Hub & knew we'd again get honest feed-back. We are retired and worry about car problems and getting stranded. Had the car checked out and it needed a few minor repairs...mostly maintenance items and didn't need immediate attention and weren't safety issues like we were told by Integrity. Can't say enough for the faith we have in Jason & New Hub. It's difficult to find an honest auto shop...so we're spreading the word. read more

I have found my new go to auto shop. I cannot say enough about Jason and the crew. Excellent customer service!! My car has been making a rattling noise for several months now. I have taken it to several shops and not one of them found a problem with the vehicle. I thought I was going crazy and the noise was just my imagination. I explained to Jason what was going on. After thirty minutes, I received a call with an update, Jason said they could not replicate the noise, but they would continue to search for the problem. This place is actually linked to another store. I've had the opportunity to go to both for vehicle repair work. Both places have the most welcoming staff. I've had the pleasure of being waited on by Shane, Josh, Karia and John. Everyone of them are young but have a professionalism that you would expect from someone a little more seasoned. They got to know me personally and made me feel like they had a genuine concern for not just my automobiles but me as a person. I can forgive mistakes but rudeness won't bring me back! It's about time someone was concerned about customer service, especially by a younger generation that doesn't seemed to care anymore! Thank you to the entire staff! I never thought I would say this but I can't wait until our next visit! They always seem to brighten this old mans day! read more
