It is a small, family-owned shop with 3 or 4 mechanics. They fit us in quickly for our 100,000 service. Their work and communication was great, with thorough explanations of worked needed and recommended. We certainly don't baby our Jeep, but it is our baby. His prices are reasonable. I've been going to Jason for years. I found him in 2022 I think when Carmax couldn't see my husband's malibu for a blinky check engine light for SIX WEEKS. Called up Jason at New Hub and he got it in the next morning. He did a full work up on it, nothing was wrong. Other than it being a hunk of junk. Fast foward to January 2025, I bought a new Jeep. Took it into him he did a full inspection, oil change and alignment on it. He found an oil leak that I took to Carmax while under their 90 day warranty that they claimed "didn't exist". Now we will fast forward to January 2026, where lo and behold, the oil leak that Jason found is now leaking into my driveway. He got me in right of way, found the source of the leak (goodbye oil cooler), told me it would take two days and sent me on my way. Well, he got it done in less than 24 hours. My Jeep made one heck of a mess in his shop, all over itself, everywhere, so I ended up with a residual leak that's been spitting into the driveway. I've called Jason probably 4 or 5 times since Thursday 2/5 and he has never made me feel like a bother. He told me if it was still leaking to get it into him ASAP to see if it's the rear main seal. (Leak seems to have stopped, so I think we're good here) He also saw our Malibu again in January for a second opinion (the transmission is shot) where he told me it has 18 check engine codes (first shop only addressed the transmission issues, which is fine, that's what it went in for..but still..)and it's not worth it to drop any money into it. He even tried shopping around to see if he could find a cheaper transmission. As a woman, I've been to a lot of shops that try to jerk you around and add extra things you don't need. I have never felt this way about Jason, and neither have any of my fellow Jeep girls who have gone there. I very highly recommend Jason. read more

Jason makes this place friendly, professional and comfortable. Took my Trailblazer in a month ago for an oil change, brakes, and new rotors and was shocked at the product and services I received. Definitely my new mechanic for all my vehicles. The waiting area is completely comfortable with couches, coffee, tv, magazines and Jason for conversations to help time fly by when your waiting for your vehicle to be finished. I waited a month to post my review, and I admit that I haven't encountered any brake failures, or oil loss. Everything here is transparent, the mechanic and Jason will show you what is being done along with a visual inspection of your parts replacement and repairs. Price wise, they are cheaper than the dealerships and provide a way better customer interaction. I will be booking another appointment next week for my other vehicle. Hopefully I get the same level of satisfaction on my next visit. I will keep you posted. Also the owner walked in the shop when I was there. I took my '95 Isuzu Rodeo in a month ago or so for an intermittent check engine light. Very hard to find a shop that has OBD1 diagnostics but they had it. After the scan I was told that it showed a weak negative terminal so it was replaced. I retrieved the vehicle only to find the light come on upon returning home. Called them back and they did some more testing without success so I picked it up the next day thinking it was incurable. After about a week of driving, voila! The light disappeared and the Rodeo has been flawless ever since. These guys are legit and my new go-to for everything mechanical! read more

This is way past due-My girlfriend over the holiday weekend in February in route back to San Diego with another girlfriend of ours-her car broke down. Not only was it a holiday BUT she did not know any place up in the area, who would answer the phone, who could truly help them out? It turned out her car of 24 years that held so many memories went bye-bye. So I drove her up to get all her things out of the car, and drive her back to San Diego as I did not have plans that day. While she was getting everything out of her car-we started to have another storm move in and I was trying to figure out how to exchange my wind shield wipers I had already bought. Jason came out and did it for me. I offered to pay him and he declined my offer. I could not believe he would not charge me something? When I was telling my girlfriend about this she started to explain how she found him. She had to start calling around and not everyone was answering that day. The ones that did answer, not all asked the questions he did nor gave his responses when she asked him a question. She felt very comfortable leaving her car with him. When he told her the truth about the car not truly being able to continue on with-he let her keep the car at his place and she found a company to donate it to for a worthy cause. They somehow all worked it out. I knew after he put in my windshield wipers he was a nice person, but after hearing what she said I knew I needed to include it in my review. I also have a friend who lives in Murrieta and I gave her his information. If she ever needs a mechanic she will be going to see Jason. After they replaced it, it drove fine but the next day some weird things were happening. I was gearing up to hear a lie and some outrageous price to fix it...well they said the belt jumped track and they fixed it at no additional charge. Accountability and trust goes a long way with me. My time is worth something as is theirs. So not pleased I had to make the effort to get it fixed. I was given my keys and well wishes followed by.. no charge! Wait what!? I was told my alignment is within specification, suspension and steering components checked good. Caster/camber, toe and steering wheel checked. New Hub just gained a customer for life. Not because I got something for free but because they were honest. They could have easily charged me full quoted price, $139 and I would still write a 5 Star review.
