We took it to the dealership multiple times and spent thousands of dollars, yet they were never able to fix it. After doing some research on Advanced Auto, I suggested to my husband that we take the car there. Sure enough, they quickly found the issue and fixed it for us. More recently, I took my vehicle in to have the shocks replaced. I expected it to be very expensive, but I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the quote was. They are honest and trustworthy. They don't recommend repairs that aren't needed, which is something I've felt other mechanics have done in the past. With Advanced Auto, that has never been the case. I take my car there regularly, and it's always ready the same day. I truly have nothing bad to say about them. They are kind, caring, and dependable.

Concerned, I brought my car back to this shop to have them take another look. Instead of properly reevaluating the issue, they told me nothing was wrong with the valve cover gasket and claimed the leak was coming from something else. This didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a second opinion from another mechanic. The second mechanic confirmed that the leak was in fact coming from the valve cover gasket, the exact issue I originally paid this shop to fix. This means the problem was either not repaired correctly or not addressed at all. It's frustrating to spend money on a repair, only to be dismissed when you return with a legitimate concern. I expected accountability and a willingness to stand behind their work, but instead I was given incorrect information and no real resolution. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. I suggest others get a second opinion before trusting them with important repairs.
