We had ongoing issues with the dealership and other mechanics, but Advanced Auto was able to fix a problem no one else could. Our original issue was with the air conditioning. We took it to the dealership multiple times and spent thousands of dollars, yet they were never able to fix it. After doing some research on Advanced Auto, I suggested to my husband that we take the car there. Sure enough, they quickly found the issue and fixed it for us. More recently, I took my vehicle in to have the shocks replaced. I expected it to be very expensive, but I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the quote was. They are honest and trustworthy. They don't recommend repairs that aren't needed, which is something I've felt other mechanics have done in the past. With Advanced Auto, that has never been the case. My 2012 Nissan was out of alignment and pulling hard to the right. I took the car to FireS**** for an alignment, but they said my car was unalienable and suggested I take it to a body shop. I took it to Advanced Auto Care instead. They took the time to test drive the car with me so they could see how bad the alignment was for themselves. They were able to adjust the alignment and now my car drives straight down the road without me fighting the steering wheel. I have been to this shop a few times. I had the best experience with Ryan and Steve. They both were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The best service I have gotten in years. I found them through my AAA membership discount service. My daughter's A/C went out and we tried the routine quick fix (buy a can of coolant) that didn't work long so I knew it was something that needed to be checked out. I had called a round and the price just to check it out was ridiculous. But when I called Advanced Ryan was more than happy to check out the problem and get back to me. When he called me back he told me exactly what the problem was and what it would take to fix it. Even after it was repaired Ryan and Steve took the time to go over everything that was done. I felt like I was at my doctor's office getting the rundown of my physical. It was just that detailed. I can't remember the last time I received such professional and kind service. I have been bringing all my cars to Steve and Ryan for a couple of years now. Last week my daughter's battery died and right after that the car was making weird noises and several of the engine lights came on. I called Advanced Auto Care who said to bring it down and that they would check it out as soon as possible. I got a phone call the next day where they did a thorough check of the belts, the air conditioner as well as went through all the error codes and engine light messages. They didn't find anything wrong with it. When I went to pick it up, Steve explained to me what had happened and how the AAA guy was supposed to provide power to the car when he exchanged the battery and that what my daughter experienced happens sometimes when the proper process is not followed. Then he said that this was free of charge. I would give them a higher rating if I could for their impeccable work, their honesty and their business ethics. I had an oil leak coming from the side of my engine, and white smoke coming from under the hood. I took it in to Steve and Ryan and they diagnosed there were more leaks than I knew. Mind you, this is a 2004 Avalanche with plenty of miles. They had my vehicle fixed in a couple of days for a very reasonable price considering all the problems it had. Ryan was great about giving me a detailed and understandable explanation of what was going on with my vehicle. I took my car in to have tires rotated and brakes checked. I told them I thought maybe I needed new brakes. Would have been easy for them to check and say "yes you need new brakes " . After a thorough check of my car they said no your brakes are fine. They did a thorough check of my car and found there were a few things I might want to think about. No pressure to get them done. I did choose to get them taken care of. I had a mechanic I used for 40 years who I always trusted what he said. He retired and sold his business. I was so leary of taking my car to anyone else. This NEVER happens. Had a horrible pinging noise as I drove my car. Had it looked at and the estimate was much higher than what the bill came out to be. Left my car overnight to be diagnosed after a clear understanding of what needed to be done on a misfire for a Jeep. Never received a call back. After ME calling, I was told the technician that is qualified to diagnose my vehicle was going to be out sick until next week (Monday) I assume they will be open on Labor Day? BE CAREFUL, THEY OBVIOUSLY DON't HAVE QUALIFIED MECHANICS while the only one they have is out sick!!!!! In addition, they cleared the code for my check engine light which should only be done once a job is complete. Bringing my Cadillac here was a last ditch effort before going to the dealership. I had my car at another smog shop in Corona four separate times. I spent over $1200 replacing parts because they couldn't figure out the problem. When I brought it here, within an hour they called me and told me what the problem was. I was hopeful it would take care of it. They got the latest software for my car's computer and that took care of all the issue and my car finally passed smog. Excellent service, very professional and spotless business. Went in with squeaky brakes and a check engine light on. Less than 24 hours and I was back on the road with a very quiet vehicle. I took my car here for repairs to help me pass smog but when I got it back it was in worse condition. My car is not drive able any more and is just sitting in the driveway.
