This is a World Class car dealership like no other! I've had the best car buying experience with this company even though I ended up taking the car back!! We bought a 2007 Camry in September from Austin eAutos. I test drove the Camry and it drove like a dream, it was tight , responsive and felt and looked like new. We bought the Camry on the spot. Two days later my wife started complaining to me about some "Jerking" motion and the engine sporadically revving going between 25-35 mph. We googled the symptoms and found a bunch of write up about this very issue! It seemed that a small percentage of this year model Camry, had a transmission flaw that eventually would lead to having to replace the transmission. We were horrified when we read these reviews, and thought we just got totally screwed, especially that we bought the Camry "AS IS-NO WARRANTY". To spend 4-5K on a transmission job right out of the gate was the ultimate used car buying nightmare in the making! I knew I had no leg to stand on if I decided to demand for Austin eAutos to help me fix the Camry, since I bought it as is! I decided instead to make a suggestion to Ms. Kim, my sales rep. I sent an email to Ms. Kim, and let her know the issue we were having with the Camry, and suggested that they should consider offering a 30-day optional warranty, even if they charged $500 for it, to help customers like me who don't have deep pockets to deal with an expected situations as the one we were facing. That's it, I did not make any requests or demands to have them fix our Camry. The reply I received from Ms. Kim was totally out of this world...In the most pleasant way possible! Ms. Kim apologized for the problems we were experiencing, and then asked us to bring the Camry back to have their mechanic inspect it to see what was going on. Ms. Kim did not stop there, she gave us a 2012 like new Infinite loaner car for FREE. Two days later Ms. Kim supersized us beyond our wildest imagination with her final reply! Ms. Kim said her mechanic drove the Camry for a 100 miles, and was unable to duplicate the issues my wife described! Ms. Kim continued to say that, because she did not want us to feel we were getting the runaround that she offered us the following two options: 1- Return the Camry for 100% of the price we paid, less about $120 in taxes they already paid. 2- Keep the Camry and get 6 months, 6000 mile engine/transmission full warranty for FREE Now please tell me who does this? Remember that Ms. Kim was not obligated to do any of that, she could've easily said: sorry you bought the Camry as is with no warranty, but she did not. Ms. Kim and the owners of Austin eAutos were more concerned about me and my wife having the best car experience rather than making the sale...They were focused taking care of their customers. I will buy all my future cars from this company, even if I move to another state, I will make sure my family, friends and co-workers buy their future cars from this company, and so should everyone reading this review...This company is the real deal. ORIGINAL POST [w/1-star rating]: Purchased a 2012 Audi A4 from them on a Friday evening. It stopped running Sunday. Went to have it towed, the tow guy noticed that the electrical connection to the air vacuum wasn't completely attached, thus air was escaping and not reaching the engine. The car ended up running well for a few more days once it was properly attached. Apparently when austineautos detailed the car before we took it home, it wasn't put back together completely. Mistakes happen, no biggie... So we thought. Wednesday rolls around - less than a week after we purchased the car. The engine stops turning. We have it towed to our repair shop - turns out the fuel injector needs to be replaced. $1000+ later... We're fearful of what's next on this vehicle. Lesson learned: don't buy from this place and trust their word on the state of the vehicle. Have your own mechanic run tests and evaluate it first... you could end up with a money-pit like we have so far just 2 weeks later. UPDATE [w/5 star rating]: The owner called nearly immediately after I posted my original review with some concerns and questions about the vehicle. Long story short, they didn't know we were experiencing issues with the vehicle after we purchased it and wish we would have let them know so they could fix it. Austin eAutos is not like your typical car sales place when, if you sign on that line to take the used vehicle as-is, it's your problem once you do. I didn't bother contacting them to let them know about the issues we'd experienced with the vehicle because I assumed they'd be like every other place you buy a vehicle from... "Your problem now, not ours". They apologized for the inconvenience we experienced with the vehicle's needs, paid for all repairs no questions asked, and asked me to let them make it right before I made any changes to my perspective / review. I couldn't be happier with the service and genuine care these folks had for us and our experience with them. I cannot say enough great things about Austin eAutos!!! If you're looking for a no-hassle car buying experience, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!! Not to mention the AMAZING customer service before and AFTER the sell!!! I started communicating with Gary via email. He responded within minutes and I went to look at the car that afternoon. I drove up to this unsuspecting dealership in an industrial park, where I met Gary. He showed me the car, handed me the keys, and said "I'll see you when you get back." The car was just as advertised, but I wanted to make a rational decision and not an emotional one. Gary answered my questions and I left to think about it; no pressure from Gary. I went back the following day to talk about next steps. I was handed the keys again and told "I'll see you when you get back." It was at that time that we talked price. He pulled up his computer and showed me his margins and gave me a final selling price; he wasn't going to make a lot at the new price. Still, it was a little more than I had originally budgeted for. So I left. Again, no pressure from Gary. I came home and did my due diligence for a couple of days, confirming what I already knew... The car was a great deal: mileage, condition, options, color combo - AND it was the cheapest one in the entire nation! I emailed Gary a few days later, and told him I wanted the car. I stopped by after work and completed the paperwork in less than 20 minutes. He handed me the keys and said "I'll see you when... (your plates come in)". After the sell, I ran into a few minor issues. Gary never once hesitated to take care of them and did so immediately. He has been extremely personable, patient, and reliable through the entire process. I would highly recommend Austin eAutos to anyone looking for a new car. It has been over a year since I bought my 2009 Mini Cooper S from Austin eAutos, and I regularly check their inventory because I want to buy my next vehicle from them. Buying my last vehicle I had a VERY specific set of options I wanted, I only found 5 cars online that fit what I wanted, and looking into the others I had found salesmen who were trying to push me into a car while telling me they were "pretty sure it had Bluetooth." I was shocked after I emailed Austin eAutos to find out how knowledgeable they were about the car, and how willing Kim and Justin were to listen to and address every concern I had about the car. I live over 1000 miles from the dealership, and I ended up not being able to fly down right away because of work, so they paid to have it inspected by the Mini dealership, and they put me in touch with the service manager there who was very honest about the issues that that model was likely to experience (and very wise, because both things he told me were likely to go wrong, in the next 50k miles, did, and nothing else has gone wrong). We completed the transaction over the phone, and they stored the vehicle for over a month before I was able to fly down to get it. Justin picked me up and took me to his office, even though they already had my money, they had detailed the car again for me so it wasn't all dusty when I picked it up. Before there was any discussion of the paperwork to be done he wanted me to go drive the car to make sure I was happy with it first. I was, it was exactly as represented, and despite my thorough research into the car, Justin showed me some features I didn't know it had. I purchased the extended warranty, but both the issues I had with the car occurred before the factory coverage was up, so I cannot offer any insight into their warranty, but Kim and Justin recommended it, and I trust them, they know their business. read more

I want to thank the Austin eAutos team for making my purchase wonderful. If only It was like this everywhere you go. There is no pressure to purchase or the hounding salesman meeting you at your car door. They allow you to test drive ---alone, to walk around the warehouse---alone without them breathing on the back of your neck. I told Gary where I wanted my note to be and he came in $59 lower than that! At that point there was no negotiation needed. I live in Houston and worked with Kim via the phone to ensure everything was in order for when we arrived. My husband and I drove into town and he wanted to have the car inspected at Christian Brothers Automotive and Gary had no problem with this. The car passed inspection with flying colors. The men at CBA were familiar with this dealership and gave them praise as a great place to do business. We went back to the dealer after inspection and Kim went through all the paperwork and we signed the documents. I can truly say that I have never bought a car where the paper signing process took less than 30 minutes!!! She was very patient and answered all our questions and thoroughly went through each paper with us. Kim advised that at anytime if I have a question I should feel free to contact her. The oil change message was appearing on the screen and I called Kim to ask if the oil change had already been performed and the system was not reset. She called me back within 15 minutes and said yes it had BUT if I felt more comfortable I could go to the dealer to get an oil change and they would cover the cost. There are no other dealers to offer you anything once you leave the lot. I thank them for the experience as in the past I had come to hate the car-buying process. It was such a pleasure dealing with Brian, Justin, and the rest of the team at Austin eAutos. They make it clear from the start that the process of buying a car should be a comfortable and pleasurable one rather than the hassling one that accompanies a trip to most dealerships. When I was abruptly thrown back into the car buying market, I prepared for all the sleazy car selling tricks, and all the time I would waste with the guy who was supposed to sell me the car running back and forth checking with the faceless / nameless guy in the back room. You know, the one who was in control of the actual sales process. To my delight, I came across Austin eAutos via TrueCar and I experienced what was, hands down, the BEST car buying experience I ever had. From the first call I had with Denise, to the day that I drove off in my car, the process was excellent. The pricing was absolutely fair, there wasn't that feeling that all they wanted to do was get me in, sell a car, and get me out. There were no shady answers when I asked questions about the car. And best of all, there was absolutely no pressure! The entire team was professional, courteous, and knew what they were talking about. The car was in like new condition: incredibly low miles, not a scratch on the car, and is still covered under the full warranty. In fact, every car I looked at and test drove were all the same way. It's still hard to believe that any pre-owned car could be in the condition of the cars I saw. Long overdue review. My wife and I were in search of a vehicle last year. We went all over town, trying the dealerships and other non-dealer sellers. We went as far as SA searching for what we wanted. We didn't find what we thought was out there and grew very frustrated, especially when you deal with sales people that want you to buy what they have to offer and don't listen to your needs. I do an online search for inventory and clicked on the link for eAutos. The website is very user friendly, it shows you pictures of the vehicles from all angles and everything is disclosed in the description. We found a vehicle that we were interested in and we drive over to the location. We get to the shop close to closing time and Gary was gracious enough to talk to us and show us some of the inventory. After looking at some cars, we told Gary we were interested in a particular vehicle and that we would come in the next day to test drive and see if we can work out a deal. The process was easy and we had minimal negotiations. We agreed on a price and a couple of days later, we had what we were looking for. We were so impressed by the customer service that we decided to leave eAutos with nnot just one vehicle, but 2. Can't say enough, we were treated cordially and attentively and felt very appreciated. First let me start off by saying I absolutely HATE shopping for a new car but I had no choice. After visiting with too many dealerships in the area, I accidently stumbled upon this little dealership off the beaten path and so happy I did. I knew what I wanted and saw it at a couple of dealerships but did not have a great experience with the typical cheesy sales guys. I went in and was greeted by Gary who let me roam around the lot by myself with no one breathing down my neck. I told him I didn't see what I was looking for but told him what I wanted. Him and Brian went to work right away for me and purchased 5 Infiniti's that I could choose from. The best part about it was that they told me that if I didn't like any of them, not to worry! I was not obligated to buy any of them. Fortunately for me, they found exactly what I wanted and even offered it to me for less than what they were asking at other dealerships because I waited for them to find me a car. I love my G37 and absolutely loved dealing with Gary and Brian! I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a nice used luxury vehicle. Especially if you're like me who would rather be getting a root canal than be out shopping for a car. Caught between a rock and a hard spot, until I encountered Angela Grado! I was under a cloud of financial challenges and medical diagnoses that had me feeling like I was drowning. My husband I had a great experience with this dealership. We decided last minute to come check out a few cars they had in stock that we had been researching for a while. They close at 5 on Saturdays and when my husband called at 4:15 to ask a few questions they didn't hesitate and told us to come in-we live in southwest Austin. We showed up near closing time but you wouldn't have known it because they told us to take a look at any of the cars we were interested in and they graciously answered all of our questions. They encouraged us to test drive whatever car we wanted. No pressure felt on the clock at all. This place has exemplary customer service and my husband and I both felt comfortable with their knowledge and expertise. It didn't feel like a pushy place and the cars they had for sale were all top of the line models. We didn't go with the intention of buying a car, but they had what we wanted at a fair price and we decided right then and there that we were happy doing business with them. They know their stuff. I have purchased many cars in my lifetime, both new and used. I must say that Austin E Autos Is the most customer service oriented auto dealer I have EVER ! dealt with. I had been looking for a Thunderbird. They had one in their covered garage with approximately 50 other extremely nice cars. The staff very professional, sales (no pressure at all) The buying process was fast and again no pressure to add extras. It gets better!!! A month later my engine light came on, common on any car at anytime. I called they said no worries bring it in and we'll have our mechanic check it out. They gave me a loaner car, couple of days later after they checked car bumper to bumper, discovered a hose had aged and cracked. Unfortunately it required removing gas tank to get at it, they not only fixed but did not even charge me. The owners told me "you've only had the car a month, it was just a hose". WOW ! to me that is what customer service is all about.. From day one this dealer has made it 5 star experience. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I saw their reviews online and decided to give them a go. We were looking to sell our barely used 2016 A3 (wife got a company car) and upgrade to something bigger. Had already tried Audi dealership and they were worthless. I worked with Gary and Armondo who were both professional and friendly. The ability to easily test drive their fleet of cars was awesome. The wife and I took out an Infiniti and 2 Lexus. We ended up going with a 2015 GS350 that was in immaculate condition, but to be honest all their cars are in real good shape. They gave me almost $1500 more for our Audi then the Audi dealership had offered and they are a no haggle shop which is made obvious by their prices. I would highly recommend that if you are in the market for a car to stop by and see what they have to offer, but come quick because they sell them fast. Seriously, the best car buying experience I have ever had. I was dreading going through the process of purchasing a car, because of past experiences of sales people who were pushy and not upfront. Austin e Autos is the complete opposite, everyone there is a team and will help you through the process. Jonathan allowed us to look at the vehicle and test drive it alone, so that we were able to talk freely. Once we came back from the test drive, he answered every question I had and was able to provide out of the door pricing within 15 minutes (I had a trade in, so the majority of that time was spent appraising my truck). Out of all the car dealerships I have done business with, these guys are simply the best! No pressure, no haggle, no "let me talk with my boss", no rush, etc... Justin took great care of me. He answered all of my questions, very candid and friendly, and very professional. By the end of our transaction, I knew everyone by name and they all knew mine (even my little munchkin who ran amok while we were finalizing everything). Great experience and it continued after purchasing my Infiniti. I had picked out a car at Austin e Auto, but my wife wanted us to check out the Infiniti dealer. Gary was calm and understanding when I told him I would let him know the next day. The dealer would not budge on their price. They were also $1,000 less on the trade in value. Their rational was that someone will pay their price. I called Gary and by next morning had bought the Infiniti. Process was quick and easy. After two weeks the brakes started squeaking. Gary had me come in and I received a loaner while the car was repaired. Week later, same problem. Again i was asked to bring car in and they would provide loaner and have car repaired. All repairs were done at their cost. Per Gary, "That's what customer service is all about." So far, no squeaks. Needless to say they deserve the 5 star rating!!! read more
