I've been to this Audi dealership several times now. This review is based on all of my interactions so far, not just one visit. Buying the car: I got a fair price and was initially happy with the deal. The car was Certified Pre-Owned, but it was pretty dirty when I first saw it. Not a huge deal, the salesman told me to come back the next day with the loan check and it would be cleaned. I came back the next day. Still dirty. He asked for another day, and I stupidly agreed. Came back again, still dirty. On top of that, he told me the key fobs were dead and would be replaced. They weren't. At that point I just said screw it and took the car to deal with it myself. To make matters worse, the safety inspection sticker was expired. I had specifically asked for the safety inspection to be done before pickup. It wasn't. Title and registration: I brought the car back myself for a safety inspection zero issues. When I bought the car, I was told registration could take up to three months and that they'd call me when it came in. Three months went by. No call. No mail. I finally went to a satellite DMV, and they told me, "Yeah, this car has been registered to you for a month already." They printed it on the spot. Meanwhile, my bank kept calling me asking where the title was. It took the dealership almost two months to get the title to my bank. That's completely unacceptable. Customer service: I later brought my vehicle in for service. I pull up, and the guy checking people in is just fucking around on his phone. I had to get out of my car and walk up to him. No greeting. No "sir." Just grabbed the keys. This is supposed to be a luxury car brand, but the experience felt more like a Waffle House than Audi. To top it off, the service manager initially told me I didn't have an appointment then looked again and realized I did. At that point, I was already fed up. Overall: My experience here has been consistently poor. If you're going to spend money on a "luxury" vehicle, go to Mercedes or BMW. These people clearly don't care about you or your time or at least that's exactly how they made me feel. read more

Bought a A3 from Audi Honolulu. 3 days after picking up the car. There was a computer glitch that turn all the warning light on. Then washed the car and the trim on driver side delaminated. Audi did not want to replace it. Told me to pay $700.00 to replace the trim. RECOMMENDATION: DON'T BUY AUDI VEHICLES. read more

And scheduled my day around having access to a vehicle. Dropped off my vehicle, and to my surprise, there was no loaner car available or scheduled due to lack of confirmation on representatives end. I dropped my car off to have work done they replaced my oil filter and didn't put oil back into my car. They are coming to my house to put one quart in but not 4 like my car requires. Every time I call I get no answer. I asked to make a claim and they shut that down real quick. Was told my car would be done in 3 days it took 8 days and they had no care in the world to update me, I had to call for updates. I will never come back here. My only complaint is Audi notified me that i needed an oil change and told me that it was still covered, however after i left to do some errands they called and said they were mistaken and that the warranty was done but if i still wanted the oil change? I unfortunately neglected to ask the cost. When i arrived to pick up my car i was presented with a $300 oil change bill (only an oil change nothing else). I'm increasingly frustrated with the level of (lack thereof) of customer service almost every time I try to get my car serviced here. First - it takes an inordinate amount of time and effort just to get ahold of a human (67 minutes today) Second, the person who answers the phone provides a very low level of customer service. When I asked about the status of my 2016 A3 I dropped off two days earlier for a check engine light and shifting issue the response was "there are other cars ahead of yours so we probably won't get to it till next week". I asked if they could just pull the code to give me some idea and the response was "I just said other cars are in front of you" I also purchased the extended warranty with rental car coverage. When I inquired about how it works, the response was "you'll have to call enterprise" I love my Audi and was considering an R model but I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I was having trouble letting go of my 15 year old Honda Civic. We've shared too many memories together and I just couldn't say goodbye to my trusty old friend, even when she began to make funny sounds after I accidentally backed her up into a post. I was planning on getting an updated version of my beloved Civic, but my (human) BFF was like "No girl, you're coming with me to Audi with me." My BFF has been driving Audi exclusively for the past several years, ever since we finished school together. We watched a James Bond movie around the same time we graduated, and that was it for her. Me? I'm... just not the kind of person who cares about things like that. I just want a car that gets me from Point A to Point B. BFF picked me up one Saturday and said "Get in the car loser (TT Roadster) we're going car shopping!" She even made the appointment at Audi Honolulu for me and everything. My only two requirements were: 1) I need a car that's small since I am bad at parking and need to get in narrow parking stalls, and 2) it needs to scream bloody murder when it looks like I'm going to back up into something. We were helped by Max, who was extremely patient with a reluctant me. He showed me an A3 which is a smaller car that really did scream bloody murder if you got too close to things backing up. Max also did not act like I was a weirdo when I said I didn't want to do the test drive. My BFF had to do it for me since I get anxious when I drive a car that isn't mine. Max showed me everything I needed to see, was never pushy, and his answers to my questions were all so easy and understandable. An hour later, I was thinking, "Ok this is doable, I can actually afford this car." Then after another half hour... "OMG what's going on?!?" I was signing my life away on some paperwork I had not planned on signing earlier on the day. Haha, wow. But what can I say, I was convinced it was a good deal and I was getting an excellent car. Their finance guy JP also was so accommodating and easy to work with. I had good credit so they let me put the down on my credit card so I could get my airline miles. And I also got a good deal on some sweet anti-bird poop car coating when I went over my options. They even gave my BFF and I matching Audi thermal coffee mugs when we left. Aww, what a sweet touch. It's now around a few weeks in, and I am enjoying my new small car that screams bloody murder whenever I back up. It does feel like a major upgrade, but I still miss my trusty old Honda. I hope to see her on the road some day with a fun college kid who is taking her on better adventures than I ever did with my boring corporate life. But I have to admit, I now secretly feel a bit like a Bond girl.
