Duck with green beans and boiled potatoes. Perfectly cooked.

This is your home away from home. The owner is so welcoming as is the interior of the restaurant. Nothing nouveau about it so if you're looking for a modern, cutting edge restaurant this isn't it. If you're looking for a delicious meal that warms the heart and soul while being in an extremely comfortable and comforting dining room, this is your place. You're taken care of from the minute you step into the restaurant until the minute you leave. The food is delicious and generously portioned. The soup hit the spot on a cold Parisian night and the duck was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and seasoned as were the potato and green beans. I will return many times.

    Scallops are unbelievable

Hey - you want great French food at a great value in an adorable setting? Then why argue? GO see Oliver here, you will not regret it! A gracious host and excellent chef - you cannot go wrong- I should know as I've been coming here for years when I'm Paris. Order the scallops - amazing. The Sea Bass and Salmon will leave you salivating. And start it all off with one of his goat cheese or crawfish salads - Yum!

Just came here for my birthday . The food was excellent ! The Chef Olivier came to our table and introduced himself and the service was nice and very generous ! I really like the unique collection on the walls and ambience in the restaurant . They really make you feel welcome ! Thanks for the great dinner!

    The fish soup!

Scallops wit cream sauce with fresh dill was absolutely amazing. Wine was good. Atmosphere was quaint with A very friendly wait staff. I love food and this was something truly incredible. What a find!!!

The whole team is amazing. Can't wait to go back. The owner and his staff were engaging, fun and made the experience truly French.

    Olivier greets us

Best food in Paris. Best host in Paris. Both combine to make for the best ambience in Paris. Olivier is a wizard in the kitchen and will make your visit one to remember

I rarely give 5 stars, but expected this to be bar food and it was so much better. We absolutely loved this little place! The owner spoke great English, it's in an odd part of town, so was never too crowded... and we went back multiple times. Some Delta crews from America seemed to like it too as they were there all three times we went to this unknown gem. The duck breast with mushrooms was awesome in my opinion, but the Sea Bass or Scallops with wine sauce were also very good. As we learned from the other Americans there, Oliver is the best.

    Goat cheese salad, excellent

Great meal and value for your money. Wonderful staff. Goat cheese salad was delicious. Crispy duck, was very good, the entree came with so many sides, I couldn't finish.

This place is a hidden gem! Chef Olivier & waiter Victor make us feel like we are at their home for dinner! It's a sleepy neighborhood place but you will NOT be disappointed! The food is tre délicieux!!! Wine choices made for us by the chef were outstanding both times we ate here (we started & ended our tip to Paris here) We highly recommend the food, the atmosphere & the fabulous staff! Loved the Jazz music too!

Wonderful - Amazing - Fantastic!!!!! Words and pictures can not describe what I experienced during my evening at this restaurant. I enjoyed the fried goat cheese salad followed by the steamed salmon. My desert was strawberries and sorbet. If I never have another meal again in my lifetime it will not matter. I am hopeful that you will give this restaurant a try and have a similar experience. I am very fortunate that as an airline pilot I get to travel the world and visit the truly hidden gems. Having dinner here will save you countless years of searching for your new favorite dinner place. When you visit, be sure to say Hello to the owner/chef - Oliver

Fantastic French food in a comfortable ambience, with very friendly owners! This is a small brasserie and it is not in a touristy part of the city. The owners are very kind, and they were very patient with my efforts to speak French. They speak good English themselves. I had the chicken in cream sauce with mushrooms and the strawberry min soup with lemon sorbet for dessert. Every bite was like heaven in my mouth. It was my last meal in Paris before returning to the United States, and I feel like I can now leave the city without eating anything else and feel very content. This little place isn't exactly a secret--I met two nice Delta airline pilots eating dinner there as well. They eat there regularly it seems. And it shouldn't be a secret, with how good it is. The owners don't know that Yelp exists, but now you know they exist! Go eat there and enjoy :)

We loved watching Chef Hugo cooking. Plus, what he prepared was delicious! We started with the ravioli appetizer we see so often recommended. Excellent! Dinners were a beef dish and a chicken dish. There are two tables essentially in the kitchen (a true "Chef's Table" arrangement) and maybe 6 tables in the adjoining room. We were welcomed warmly. Deborah was the hostess and server. Chef Hugo is visible in the kitchen, working very hard to make everything just perfect. They brought bread immediately (my husband loved the sliced baguette--it was perfect and chewy as it should be, but not hard). We ordered a bottle of wine, a Macon Villages, which was perfect. I had the cucumber salad appetizer, which was so fresh. My husband ordered the ravioli appetizer--tiny little rectangles in a scrumptious sauce--a work of art. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. (I have seen some comments from people who are unhappy that they can't just walk in. They don't appear to understand that there is only one seating. People arrive when they do and they linger. Empty tables seen from the street do not mean the place is not fully booked. Make a reservation well ahead of time. It is worth it!)

They were good, but they weren't the kind of sandwiches that make you stop after the first bite and think, this is amazing. I honestly don't understand the hype. After waiting in line, I expected something truly memorable, but it turned out to be just a good sandwich, nothing more. If you happen to pass by when there's little or no queue, it's worth trying. But if there's a long line, I'd skip it and head to one of the many other excellent sandwich shops in Paris. For me, the wait simply wasn't justified.

Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.
