Service was fun and sweet. Food was amazing. It was a mix of French, Spanish, Indian cuisine. The chef is apparently from Venezuela. There's a good selection of small plates. They serve burgers however they will run out because they only make them on a daily basis. We are rather late due to our scheduled activities so no burgers for us. But the selection of other items is really great! The restaurant itself has a very unique decor. It reminds me of a small restaurant you would find in the Village of NYC. servers are young but super ON IT and very outgoing and friendly. Try the empanadas... you won't be disappointed! Great spot! I'd bookmarked Ferdi because I always try to honor my Grammy's birthday with a burger for dinner. I was flying into Paris on her birthday and knew I'd have to put my burger dinner off until I arrived. I'd texted Ferdi earlier in the week asking for a lunch booking and they informed me, the only day they have lunch is Saturday from 1-4 and it's on a walk in basis. This worked out perfectly for me. I'd planned on arriving at 1p but actually arrived by 1215p and no one was in line yet so I decided to go around the corner to Chanel. Well somehow, 1215 turned into past 2p and I was starting to grow anxious that I'd miss securing my Ferdi burger for lunch. Luckily I arrived after 2p and was told the wait would be about 35 minutes. I was staying! Although waiting for anything is difficult I knew I wanted to celebrate my Grammy's birthday and regardless of what city I'm in I make it an effort to always have a burger if I'm not at home to have it. I waited out front and was called in shortly thereafter. I had a little table in front of the bar and service was perfect! I was traveling alone and really enjoy cozy little spots like this. The place was a buzz and super lively. The décor was exciting and the vibes were just right. I of course ordered the burger since this is what I came for, and had the mac and cheese. Wow! The mac and cheese was sooooo good, the burger was fine too. I had a glass of Boudreaux that paired perfectly with my meal. Great service, food was out quickly and while I was encouraged to stay for dessert, I was on my way shortly after finishing because I'd seen so many people waiting and really wanted to free up my table for others to enjoy and experience the famed cheese burger :) Very thankful for a tasty new lunch spot! read more

The Mac cheese is good but the naughty fries (fries with a cheese sauce) aren't good because the cheese sauce is too milky. Didn't like the mushroom risotto at all either. This hidden gem is more then just Kim Ks favorite burger joint in Paris. It's a true Parisian staple that's been around for years offering up a perfect combination of Spanish and French cuisine. They have every right bringing these two cuisines together because the French owner married to a lovely women from Venezuela blending there love into their restaurant and menu. The burger is just perfect. No frills what so ever. It's just cooked perfect with their secret sauce and cheese. I definitely recommend adding bacon and trying the mustard they bring with their burger. The atmosphere is intimate and super small. Great vibe for a date or a small group of friends. I came here with my friend had to make a reservation a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot in advance, and also they ignored me when I was texting them in English but when I switch to French, they suddenly excepted my reservation. So try that out. Also, when we got there at 8:30, the burgers were fully sold out, and that's exactly what they were famous for. We were a little bit disappointed, but still stayed. We ended up finding like five parties after us complain, because there are no burgers left and even a party of six got up and just left that day. I was extremely shocks but also understood. I will add more later about the service and ambience, but I didn't like how the waiter kind of asked me in my party for a tip, but we didn't hear him ask the table next to us... perhaps because we were there for a bit longer and happened to order more food. Tasted like a in n out burger but more superior. This is Kim Kardashians favorite restaurant so it was a must visit. . Foie Gras - this was great. Can't go wrong with this dish anytime in france. . This is the worst meal I've ever had in my life. The restaurant was disgusting - broken glass all over the ground under our table :) then they say they ran out of the burger (which is why we came) - we should've gotten up then. We ordered some random dishes and it could've been the worse meal I've ever ate. The empanada we got was still frozen (freezing cold) in the middle while scorching hot? So like they microwaved it prob from frozen. Legit so gross McDonald's is better don't waste your time and or money. Pam fried tuna People only posted the hamburger and mac and cheese and for good reason, everything else seems to be small and overpriced. My cousin pointed me towards this spot in Paris, and walking in to find a burger joint decked out in funky decor had me questioning their taste. I mean, in Paris, of all places! But let me tell you, don't be fooled by the quirky knick-knacks and cozy space. The burger was absolutely stellar - so juicy and flavorful. We wrapped up with churros and three kinds of dipping sauces (unexpected in Paris, yet delicious), and of course, an espresso martini. If you've been following my reviews, you'll know I must.,. the martini was just okay, not blowing me away but not detracting from the overall vibe either. I don't think any espresso martini did in Paris. From what I gather, it can get pretty busy here, with a chance of being squished on a tiny couch in the back or navigating a tight bathroom. Finally we were able to find a table at Ferdi. We made sure to send a message two weeks ahead . If you want to eat at Ferdi , you should make reservations since the restaurant is tiny. My daughter and I ordered the burger. My daughter didn't want the onions but we were told that the chefs does not want to change the recipe and she will have to remove the onions. When the burger arrived, my daughter ended up eating the onions and told me this is the best burger and onions I ever had. My son ordered the stroganoff and it was delicious but he complained that the plate was tiny :). We had the croquettes too which were delicious . Were told no at first and then she had a change of heart and offered us a table outside we could have if we could be finished by her 9:00 reservation. We took it. This was one of the best meals I had on my recent trip to Paris. I received a few restaurant recommendations from a friend of a friend and Ferdi was highly recommended. I was told to make sure I made a reservation in advance and that Ferdi had the best burger in the city. When arriving for our reservation, we were seated immediately (8pm reservation). The quirky decor of Ferdi is what makes the restaurant so unique and interesting. It's quite a small space, but has a very intimate/homey/trendy vibe. To start the two of us shared a salad with hazelnuts that was simple, but delicious. Also, started with an order of hummus and eggplant chips. The eggplant chips were incredible. I've never had eggplant chips quite like these. They weren't breaded and they had this sticky honey like coating, which made them extra tasty with the dip. For our main dishes we both had the burgers, which were awesome. Really delicious burgers with their special sauce. Also, we shared a small order of Mac & Cheese, which was really good. I would say the burgers are on the smaller side so it was great we shared a few appetizers and a side. For dessert we had the churros with hazelnut chocolate dipping sauce. We were sad when it was over... it was that good. Ferdi is not to be missed if you're in Paris. Make sure to make a reservation! They honor all of their reservations and ensure the tables are open when reservations arrive. This place was our best find while in Paris! It's very small only about 12 tables so I would highly recommend a reservation. I would sit inside as they have some pretty interesting decor to look at! The food was amazing!! It's tapas style food - the price was a bit on the higher side for the portion size but definitely worth it! Try the corn and the empanadas - and the croquettes... try anything that sounds appealing to you because we literally didn't have anything we didn't love.
