Just when we thought that it couldn't get any better, we lucked into this charming little restaurant. It's a bit away from the touristy areas and had great reviews on Trip Advisor. It's a small restaurant with a small outdoor seating area. We were encouraged by the number of locals. We sat between an Australian family and a Swiss couple who raved about the food. Someone a couple of tables down said that it was their second day in a row eating here. The staff were charming. The house wine was excellent and inexpensive. There were two course for E23 and 3 courses for E29. We started off with fried goat cheese and a warm lentil salad. Both were off the charts. My wife ordered the chicken, which she said was among the best that she has ever had. I had the crispy pork, which was excellent and flavorful. These were the best frites of our trip. The green beans were excellent too. We shared the French toast for dessert, which was essentially a brioche bread pudding with a scoop of caramel ice cream on it. A three course meal here cost less than a single main course at the restaurant we ate at the day before. This was a top 10 meal for my wife. I loved it too- I felt as if I had discovered something, If you're in Paris and can have a meal here, go for it! Highly recommended. Wish that we had found it sooner, we would have eaten there more than once. read more
