Great service. For the estimation Isaac explained everything to me about the problem and my options and tradeoffs. I choose to go with the recommended solution. When Oscar arrive, he confirmed how everything would go again. Also checked other places in the house that we opened prior to the visit, has respectful of the place. He took photos and videos of the job, so I wouldn't need to crawl into my half attic. It was a treatment half attic with multiple possible entries, including one identified from the garage. Around 800 sqft. They replaced all plywood insulation with cellulose. $4000, which was great value and worth all the work they done just by the difficulty it was.

I recently installed solar and wanted to reduce gas use as much as possible, this includes not turning on my furnace this winter and using electric heaters. But obviously those do not work as well (thinking of getting mini-splits in the future) so it was constantly cold and uncomfortable in my house these past few months. I saw some ads on Facebook about attic insulation (Attic Cali was not the ad I saw) so I went on yelp and got some appointments for a few companies to come take a look at my home. Brian came for the estimate and was very helpful. I even rescheduled due to rain and he was very understanding. Attic Cali was able to give me a really good price amongst the 3 options I had. I decided on blown-in cellulose after Brian's recommendation and some research I did on my own. Attic insulation was overall a couple thousand dollars more than I thought (not specific to Attic Cali but in general) but the pricing was still competitive. And with all these storms in the new year (Jan of 2023) I had a lot of concerns about doing the job in the rain. But Brian assured me that they would keep everything dry and clean. Oscar and another team member came the day of installation and both did a fantastic job. They removed my old insulation, air sealed and sanitized the attic, rodent proof the attic and crawl space (luckily I didn't have any rodent infestation), and then blew in the new insulation. Job started at 10am and they finished at 4:30pm. They covered the floors in plastic and covered the working area with plastic from floor to ceiling. And as promised they did keep everything very clean and dry despite some heavy on and off rain. Now my hallway thermostat reads 68 average whereas before it was reading 62. I felt the difference the next day, it was so much more comfortable. Those 6 degrees make a huge difference! The past few days I have not used my heaters as much, when I do it's now just in the mornings when I wake up and evenings before bed. I'm excited to feel the difference in the summer. I honestly didn't think new insulation would be as impactful during the winter since I'm not heating the house much, but it is. From my before and after photos, you can see that I barely had any insulation to start with. I was told it might have been the same insulation as when the house was built many decades ago. Now there's a couple feet worth of insulation. Extremely satisfied with Attic Cali. Thank you! One bonus: their online invoicing system accepts ApplePay, so if you have an AppleCard you can mitigate the 3% service fee for cards with Apple's 2% CB. No service fees if paid by check, other companies have the same 3% fee if paying with card. I paid with card because I don't have any checks and didn't want to drive in the rain to the bank for a cashier's check. Hope this helps anyone researching!

Atticali did a great job at my family's rental property in San Jose. The old insulation was worn out and gross and the summer was cooking that house. Brian was our estimator and offered the best solution for the money which was R38 pink fiberglass in our case. He also answered questions we had about spray foam and air ducts. They came in at a fair price for the quality of work and quality of materials. They aren't the cheapest but also weren't anywhere close to the most expensive from the quotes we had. The installers were great and did a great job of prepping and keeping everything clean. They worked very hard and got it all done in 1 day. We will use them again when it's time for anything else.

If you're looking for someone with a deep expertise in and passion for what they do who has your best interest in mind, look no further than Isaac. We've been having a rodent problem & while the rodents had been taken care of, we needed help with the aftermath. We were recommended to Isaac by our contractor who had seen his impressive work at other houses. He came over for an estimate and was patient in his thorough explanations and answers to all our questions/concerns. He emailed us an estimate later that night & we had an appointment booked for the following week. Guillermo (also an awesome guy) & his crew of 3 or 4 came out ~9am and were done by ~6pm the same day. In this time, they cleaned up, sanitized, and patched up holes in the attic/basement/garage/around the house and replaced all the insulation in our attic. Amazing turnaround. They were respectful of our home and took extra precautions so as to not damage anything. Nothing but great things to say about this crew, thanks again for all your help Isaac & Guillermo!

Job: Attic insulation Background: My home was cold in the winters and hot in the summers, so I needed new insulation. I did some research and had an idea what the job entailed. I scheduled Attic Cali for a free estimate. Isaac came and looked at my attic. After given an estimate plus a $300 off from yelp, I hired Attic Cali. Work (Start - 9am, Finished - 430pm): - Guillermo and 2 workers arrived on time and started the work area prep and set up. They covered my floors, wall corners, and entrance hallways/living room. You can request any area to be covered and they'll do it. - Loose fill Insulation removal - removed my old insulation with a vacuum and hauled away. - Attic Treatment - Air sealing any gaps and Sanitation - Encapsulation of all asbestos registers in Attic space using their encapsulation spray. - Installation of new Owens Corning Batts insulation in Attic space R-Value: R- 38 - Rodent proofing the exterior vents around my house, if needed. Conclusion: I was pleased with their work. My home is warmer and cooler than before. In addition, the insulation helps with sound proofing. Isaac and Guillermo are responsive. They used good quality Owens Corning Batts (Faced and Unfaced) and cleaned up after completion. One feedback was I wanted Guillermo and his team to update me what has been completed and what work would be performed next. Also, to let me look at the attic after the removal of the old insulation. However, it was not a big deal since they wanted to complete the work without bothering you if you are home. I highly recommend them for attic insulation removal and install. Thanks.

Called Atticali and 2 other companies to give estimates for rat infestation. We could hear rats in our attic and crawl space and walls for a longggg while and it started to progress rapidly. Our house started to smell so bad (quickly) and rat droppings everywhere in the attic, garage, and crawlspace. We needed to get these companies out quickly to do the work as we were leaving on a trip in about 10 days. Atticali and their crew to the rescue!! Atticali was able to immediately send Isacc out that same early evening I called them to assess. I was thrilled with their quick response, Isacc's knowledge, chill demeanor and even more thrilled when he sent the estimate later that night as promised. We got the other quotes and found Atticali to be a very fair price for all the work they were doing. We felt Atticali was the most prompt, communicative, complete in-house full service, was going to take care of all our needs, plus was able to fit in our service before we left on our trip. We signed the contract, paid the deposit and got on the books for the following week. When we called them for the rat infestation, they advised asbestos to our ducts and the damage the rats did to our duct work, so we replaced that also. First day they sent the asbestos crew to remove all duct work, they were prompt, efficient, safety protocols in place, nice and easy to work with. The following day they sent our two man crew of Oscar (lead) and Cordova. What a two man crew these guys were!!! Oscar was so knowledgeable, had so many good suggestions, made me feel at ease and taken care of, and wow what freaking hard workers!! Both these guys were nothing but hard working professionals that knew their stuff. They took tons of pictures (99 of them) of the job to show us the progress of the job. They rat proofed our house on the outside working tirelessly to find the entry points to seal and found something like 20-30 entry points. They removed old insulation, sealed up all the holes/rodent proofed, installed all the new duct work (making sure to tie up all duct work well) sanitized (2x cause the smell was so bad) and sprayed all new insulation over two days working tirelessly each day. Oscar also walked the property to show me all the trees we needed to cut back to help keep the rats away from the house. He also let me know that I had a plumbing leaking in my kitchen under the house that we had no idea about. I think Oscar and Cordova did a great job and made us feel at ease the whole time in a nerve wracking situation. Job comes with warranty of 3 years for the rats and they set traps to catch any rats that might be left, and will come back and check them like every two weeks. Ive asked how to be on maintenance with them after the 3 years because I don't want the rats back! So far we are rat free and don't hear anything in the walls or attic anymore! The smell is gone. They are our rat hero's and I would 100% recommend Atticali!!

(reposting - I accidentally wrote the initial review under my profile with my work email - that I didn't even know I had lol) Wish I could give 10 stars. Attic Cali installed new insulation in my attic, cleaned up a LOT of pest mess and all within one day. As with most of my reviews, I'll separate into categories for easy reading. (NOTE: this attic mess was not my fault, lol; I had the house fumigated when I moved in, but they don't remove rodent mess). Quote - I requested a quote via Yelp's system and Jordan S. was assigned. He came out a few days later and did a very thorough examination of the attic, and the outside of the property. At first I didn't understand why, and then the quote came :-). Incredibly competitive pricing that included rodent proofing the roof, exterior and adding traps. Incredible. Jordan explained everything in detail and as it turns out, everything he stated is exactly what happened. Installation - The lead of the team of 3 was Guillermo B. He met with me first to discuss everything, made sure that I was given an opportunity to see the attic before, during (once cleaning was complete) and after, both by visually viewing and also pictures. So awesome. They covered everything in my home on the path to the attic (including my couch) and vacuumed afterwards. Not a spec of dust was left anywhere. His team worked efficiently and while I had no insulation to remove, there was lots of rodent poo to take care of. They did all of this between 9:30am and 2:15pm. Mid-work walkthrough - As Jordan promised, he showed up almost midway through specifically to ask me how it was going and find out if I had any questions or concerns. He spoke to the team also, but mostly he was there to check on me. He also gave me their updated ETA to finish. He then had other jobs to also check, but wow, that's just incredible integrity. Final walkthrough - Once the team was done, Guillermo walked me through the property and all the rodent proofing they had done (which even my pest control company won't do outside rodent proofing), showed me pics again of the final insulation in the attic and asked if I had any questions at all. I noted that my basement access outside had some netting that wasn't tacked down properly and he immediately got a staple/nail gun and fixed it. So awesome! Text reminders - The quotes, notifications of pending arrival, appointment reminders etc were all done via text, so I never had to wonder where we were in the process or what was happening. I absolutely loved the experience, it was beyond perfect and I would definitely use them again for anything at all. I also made sure they had water in a cooler all day (which I sanitized for their use only) to show them how much they were appreciated. Guillermo and Jordan, you are absolute rockstars. Thank you again for your hard work and attention to detail! The house feels better already! I've attached lots of pics cause, well, who doesn't love pics!
