I've been here 2 times in the past couple of months. The first thing everyone will do is compare it to Cote. To start off - for the same price, Cote definitely gives better vibes. But where Atti shines is its flavor & flexibility. I find it really difficult to plan a meal for 2 at Cote at a reasonable hour that isn't 5pm or 10pm. Atti you can just walk in (for now!) and enjoy an impromptu dinner with a friend or partner. The first time I went, I thought the meats were amazing, but the second time I went I thought it was just okay. Not sure if it was cooked differently or if I just set my standards too high. For the price, I may stick with Cote, but it depends how impatient I am to get some nice kbbq! read more

While the decor is inviting and the food tasty, the service and management of this establishment are seriously lacking. My friend and I were so looking forward to this upscale Korean BBQ, and this culinary experience left a seriously bitter taste in our mouth. We ordered our food at 7:15 p.m. and by 8:15 p.m. we were handed over our check despite having just ordered a 2nd cocktail. I had barely taken a sip of my 2nd cocktail when the manager came over and told us that they needed our table for the next reservation. We were then told that it was an 1.5 hour max per table. My question is, why wasn't this stated to us at the very beginning. As a result of us being rushed, my friend was forced to chug her $20 cocktail while I had to have my barely sipped cocktail to go. A manager that respects himself and the establishment that he represents would have either offered to comp our drink since we were forced to leave or at least offered us an incentive to come back. The whole experience felt rushed, and it just feels like the establishment is run like a factory rather than a high-end restaurant. They want to ensure a maximum turnover while sacrificing the customer experience. We were also give close to 15 sides to accompany our $69 chefs tasting menu, and not once did the server or manager bother to introduce the sides to us. I had to ask them to do so. My water was also never refilled. I had to stop a server after 15 minutes waiting with an empty cup for me to have my water refilled. In the end, we spent $230, not including tip. Honestly, I'm highly disappointed! This is not how you run a high-end establishment. Both staff and manager on duty need better training in hospitality. Great service and nice ambience. This is a good spot if you value being able to have a conversation over Korean bbq without having to strain your voice talking over blasting music (there was music but it wasn't overbearing, just the right amount of volume). The staff were kind and attentive and they cooked the meat perfectly (we requested medium rare). The meat was fresh and tender. read more

We got Han Sang Set A, which came with 4 selected cuts. The meats were good, just not a lot. Two soups, egg, and shaved ice were also part of the set. As for banchans, you can get free refills, just ask. The plum mojito was refreshing. read more

I try not to leave bad reviews, this could've been a 2 star review. I wanted Atti to be my favorite new spot in the neighborhood, but was let down. Oddly, all of the meats tasted pretty good except the Kalbi (major fail). We got the atti han sang, but wasnt enough food so we ordered an additional order of Strip steak (i think they gave us the hanger by accident). The bowls of rice were half filled, and we had to pay for each additional bowl. I'm Korean, i need a lot of rice with my meal - lol. I expressed that the quality of the Kalbi was very sub par, possibly the worst i have ever had in my life, to the waitress and hostess, in korean, and they did not offer any type of apologies or acknowledge the issue. I have no problem spending 150+ per person on a meal as long as the food is good and i am full after the meal, can say either was really true. Woori on myrtle has a more home vibe, and the KPOT BBQ (not run by koreans by the way, lol) close by is a better bang for the buck in the neighborhood. read more

We were in NYC over the new year and decided to try this place. First of all, the place is very cool and inviting when you walk in. The service was prompt and super friendly. Our drink orders were taken quickly, and everyone who visited the table was just great. The food was fantastic. Atti was a restaurant I just stumbled upon due to just craving K bbq in downtown Brooklyn. I only saw 2 Yelp reviews and figured ... wait this is new (since I was in the neighborhood 2 weeks ago) . First off the decor is beautiful, romantic aka great for a date night spot wink wink. However, they have a table that I believe can fit up to 8-10 guest which is fun for friends. The staff was amazing! Ko and Joon always made sure myself and my friend were taken care of and we laughed the whole night with them! They are amazing! Let's get to the food: We ordered the "Chef's Han Sang" which is amazing for 2 people (this can be filling for 3 if you are not starving ... but perfect for 2) It came with 4 meat choices (all beef my non pork eaters), scallion salad (this was delicious) , egg soufflé, red leaf lettuce to wrap your meat around, 2 different stews, ban-Chan and a snowflake like dessert! I want to say all the meats were delicious! The stews.... Please ask for side bowls so you and your friend can share since one has a minestrone like flavor which was delicious and the other was a kimchi stew.... I've had kimchi stews before but this was somewhat taking on flavors of French onion soup as well... DELICIOUS!! All the little sides that you usually get with K Bbq was great! yo i knew i'd love this place even before it opened. as a loyal customer of KUUN next door (i'm talking at least once a week), i've been waiting for atti to open since they put up the "korean bbq" window sticker. i finally got to try this spot last weekend and it did not disappoint. service: 5/5 food: 5/5 atmosphere: 5/5 you're getting that same great, friendly customer service that you get next door but a bit more upscale. food: we go the shrimp gang jeong, hansang and mool naeng myun. i think the hansang is a really great deal for $64/person. you get hella banchans (side dishes), two soups (kimchi jjigae and dwenjang), egg souffle (gaeran jjim), and a bingsoo dessert to round out the meal. my mom always aid you can tell how good a korean restaurant is based on their mool naengmyun and she hasn't been wrong yet. the mool naengmyun? *chefs kiss* i will note for my fellow koreans tho, they didnt provide any mustard or vinegar but the broth was still great! of course the meats with the hansang weren't enough so we got another order of the prime dry aged ribeye and the short rib. Yay for a fine dining KBBQ place in downtown Brooklyn!! Went with a group of 4. The meats were mostly really good - we got the premium menu as well as the other two cuts that didn't come with the menu so that we could try all the different cuts. I would recommend all of them aside from the filet mignon which was too lean. They have someone grilling it for you so you don't need to do it yourself but make sure you tell them how you like the meats cus the person who did ours kinda overcooked some of the meats until we told him. It was kinda expensive - they don't give you free vegetables (ssam and scallion salad) like all other kbbq places I know. Each was 8 dollars for a few leaves which is pretty crazy. Atti is a really great Korean bbq restaurant that just hit the scene. We had a group of 7 and ordered various meats and side dishes. I had dinner alone and ordered a set meal for 79. When I paid the bill, they charged me 149, saying that the set meal was for 2 people or more, but the menu clearly stated that it was 79 per person. This spot is pretty decent. Its a good KBBQ spot for downtown bk. It's a bit more on the pricer end but the cuts of meat are good. I did the Han Sang and it was lovely. I was full after but if you're comparing it to Ktown BBQ spots then I can see how it might feel like it's not a lot of food for the price but again the preparation of meats are different. In addition the service is different too, there's more attentive service here. I will come back! read more
