It also a perfect shop for pop culture fans. I love the selection of new and old comic books that I can find (such as Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, etc.), the good customer service I can provide, how much any of the comics cost, and everything else that makes it fun to visit! I sure hope a next comic shop will be my second favorite like Comic Carnival!

For the staff, it's a family-run business and they're all incredibly nice and personable. It's easy to talk to all of them and they're more than willing to help with special requests and orders. They also offer a 10% in-store credit reward system which is simple and quite generous too! In terms of location, while it's a bit off the beaten path, it's close enough to one of the main streets in tow (and another hobby shop) to not be an issue. Parking can be cramped on busy days, but that's to be expected. As far as product goes, there's a lot! Miniatures in particular are well-represented. All Games Workshop IPs are here (some more than others, but also including some boxsets that aren't available anymore) and they're always getting new product in for pre-orders. While they do sell them at GW retail price, their rewards program has let me get away (more than a few times) with getting a few boxes for free or for more than 50% discount. Dungeons and Dragons + Pathfinder minis are also available, as are Star Wars: Legion, BattleTech, and HeroClix, as well as more niche stuff, like Blood and Plunder. A fair selection for various card games, but also a generous and wide selection of board games as well! Lastly, there is also a selection of paints, primers, brushes, magnets, basing material, and other hobby tools that are readily available. As far as gaming space, the backroom has space to accommodate plenty of people and for different games. Plenty of tables to set up at, and a wide selection of terrain to make use of for wargaming. While I unfortunately cannot comment on the music section of the store, as I have not made use of its services, I can say that the gentleman who runs it is very respectful and helpful. Overall, a very worthwhile visit for hobbyists who want a wide selection of goods to peruse at an honest price from honest staff. The rear right is set up for comics, a few comic related toys, and graphic novels. There are some boxes of old comics as well, but the collection is rather small. (I've seen larger collections at conventions.) The guy behind the counter was friendly and made sure to let me know to ask if I had any questions or needed assistance. The problem is that the inventory is on the small side compared to most comic shops I've been to and it could do with more wall displays promoting the new story lines that get collectors excited. This place is awesome! We stopped by before heading to dinner with family, not knowing what to…read moreexpect. There is such a large selection of comics, games, and other really cool items. I ended up buying a new comic compilation to read for the plane ride back to California. I am sad this store isn't in Cali, because I would be there every week. The staff was really nice, as the guy at the front counter showed my boyfriend how one of the display games worked. They had a practice match and he took the time to explain the rules and give a couple of tips on strategy. It's great to see someone who really enjoys their job. I didn't have enough time (or money) to grab all the things I wanted, but this store definitely was a high point for my visit back to Indiana. It's going to be somewhere I visit each time I return.

This is a small shop that is long and narrow with graphic novels down one row and comics (old and…read morenew) down the other. The space is a little cramped if multiple customers are shopping in the same area. The novels are displayed in easy to find order. The older comics are filed in boxes alphabetically and have some vintage items, but definitely are weighted towards more newer material. So, finding some specific older issue is hit or miss. But at least it's worth stopping in to check. The man working the front counter was friendly to customers as they entered or were leaving. He seemed willing to carry on conversations with customers that were interested in between sales as well. Note that this location doesn't sell much merchandise since there is a specialty store for toys/collectibles just a couple doors down. This is a place for reading material. Nice selection and there's a good chance to find what you are looking for. Review #3732
