It also a perfect shop for pop culture fans. I love the selection of new and old comic books that I can find (such as Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, etc.), the good customer service I can provide, how much any of the comics cost, and everything else that makes it fun to visit! I sure hope a next comic shop will be my second favorite like Comic Carnival!

(For those that don't know, grading a comic book is having a 3rd party look at it and inspect it and rank the condition. It adds value to your comics if they are in good shape). They had all of their comics organized by characters and publishers. Can not wait to go back again. They have very fair prices too. They also sell different collectibles.

It seemed that everyone there was an experienced comic enjoyer and I felt a little bit like I was stepping on toes, but no one was rude and the man behind the counter was friendly. This was my first time in a comic book store so I don't have much to compare it too but the whole time me and my friends were saying it was a neat place! Definitely could use a working website though, and the lack of recent Yelp reviews made me worried it wasn't even open, so I'm leaving a review for posterity.

For the staff, it's a family-run business and they're all incredibly nice and personable. It's easy to talk to all of them and they're more than willing to help with special requests and orders. They also offer a 10% in-store credit reward system which is simple and quite generous too! In terms of location, while it's a bit off the beaten path, it's close enough to one of the main streets in tow (and another hobby shop) to not be an issue. Parking can be cramped on busy days, but that's to be expected. As far as product goes, there's a lot! Miniatures in particular are well-represented. All Games Workshop IPs are here (some more than others, but also including some boxsets that aren't available anymore) and they're always getting new product in for pre-orders. While they do sell them at GW retail price, their rewards program has let me get away (more than a few times) with getting a few boxes for free or for more than 50% discount. Dungeons and Dragons + Pathfinder minis are also available, as are Star Wars: Legion, BattleTech, and HeroClix, as well as more niche stuff, like Blood and Plunder. A fair selection for various card games, but also a generous and wide selection of board games as well! Lastly, there is also a selection of paints, primers, brushes, magnets, basing material, and other hobby tools that are readily available. As far as gaming space, the backroom has space to accommodate plenty of people and for different games. Plenty of tables to set up at, and a wide selection of terrain to make use of for wargaming. While I unfortunately cannot comment on the music section of the store, as I have not made use of its services, I can say that the gentleman who runs it is very respectful and helpful. Overall, a very worthwhile visit for hobbyists who want a wide selection of goods to peruse at an honest price from honest staff. Their hours are really limited, but they seem to be open 4-6 most days of the week. They had D&D and Magic, and host some gaming events. I was helped by this really sweet girl and when I asked who that other employee was she said the manager. I'm myself a manager and I was genuinely appalled at his mannerisms. the girl seemed like she wanted to say more, I have a feeling management here is unprofessional and under qualified to be leading a team. not sure who their dm or owner is but maybe screen your leaders a bit better, I feel sorry for the team. great selection though, the store itself is great just the staff besides the girl that helped me seems questionable.

In a past life, I lived with a comic book fiend, so I've been to my fair share of comic book…read morestores. Aw Yeah Comics is a great comic book store! It's way better than it needs to be, and the people of Muncie are lucky to have it. What I like about this store is that it feels very cozy. There are cramped hallways filled with comics, plus small rooms with bookshelves of graphic novels and action figures. It's a lovely feeling to be surrounded by so many stories and ideas. One of the rooms has a nice little chair at which to sit and read. Another room has toys and action figures and Funko Pop characters. A whole wall is dedicated just to Funko! It was oh-so quiet when I visited, which was nice because then I could just browse and look around without distractions. The people behind the counter were super friendly, and ready to answer questions or joke around -- it seemed like they were down for whatever. One of the things I love about this comic book store is that they have a designated section for young children, with comic book and graphic novel recommendations. Their recs were spot-on, too. A whole area dedicated to Raina Telgemeier? Heck yeah.

Definitely will be back even if I have to drive two hours to get there. Definitely recommend checking the store out , it will not disappoint. J&H
