The staff usually are willing to offer me recommendations. I'm a middle-aged guy and don't really keep up on comic book news. So I appreciate when I can just ask, "What's good right now?" and have them suggest some books for me.

Unlike ThinkGeek, this fan's store appeals to both comics and movies lovers AND sports enthusiasts. They had Harry Potter items, Marvel and DC superhero items, and a large part of the store dedicated to sports posters and mini stadiums. Of course, the local teams, both college and pros, were represented. But I saw a number of other pro team stadiums and posters available....even something for the Patriots! uggh!
