Now located inside Bottleworks, Pumkinfish is a very nice gift shop, full of unique merchandise. They feature a large amount of Indiana-themed gift, novelty, and display items that you will not find elsewhere. Visitors often ask where they can purchase Indiana souvenirs and gifts, and this is the perfect place to recommend. There are also many pet-related gifts, socks, and clothing. Prices range from extremely affordable to more expensive items, but there are many quality items in the $10 to $20 price range. Definitely worth checking out this unique shop. A great addition to the Bottleworks district.

Random S**t is kind of a fitting description for Pumkinfish. Is it a gift shop? General store? Sunglasses retailer? Yes, yes, and yes. I stumbled upon Pumkinfish and went in to check it out. It opened recently and I was curious what type of stuff they have. Turns out a little bit of everything. Gifts, teas, cocktail mixers, jewelry, etc. I think most of the goods were locally-themed or Indiana-centric, and I am hoping they can rotate what they carry to showcase local products. What's more interesting is the back room that has sunglasses. The selections looked pretty good although I didn't stay long enough to check out the prices. Mass Ave can use a store like this to keep things interesting, rather than just having bars and restaurants. Pumkinfish has a very small footprint, so if you weren't paying attention you might have walked right past it. I would recommend checking it out just to see if there is anything that piques your interests.

This place seems to appeal to some people, and to others, not so much. They did have some unique items and there seemed to be plenty of room to browse for items as well. I guess the problem is that I found a number of their items to be crass. Okay, I get an unexpected comment that is off color can have some humor. But this place is loaded with items that use sexual references or bathroom "humor" to be funny. I outgrew that about half a lifetime ago, so I didn't see anything I would want to give as a gift to anyone I wanted to keep as a friend. What is a shame is that it was scattered throughout the store, so it wasn't like I could avoid it. There were some nice items that I might have considered buying, but didn't on my visit. This is such a cool and fun spot for some unique yet snarky gifts. I don't want to compare it to anyone because I think they probably get more love. They both have items the other don't so you should definitely take a look. I bought a couple of gifts for myself on this round but saw a few things I'd get friends. Perfect gift spot plus place to bring out of town guests for their gift shopping.

Pumkinfish is the perfect little Mass Ave gift shop. Their selection ranges from bath bombs to Golden Girls paraphernalia. A great place for gifts with that unique Mass ave touch. I like the cards. Sometimes hallmark just wont cut it when your best friend is going through a breakup and you want to say, "He's a jerk and o never likes him anyway." I always find something new here. Stop in if you want a good laugh and some great gift ideas.

Fun prayer candles, especially if you like the Golden Girls

Love this store! They have such a cute, random, funny, pretty, nice smelling collection of things. My favorite in the whole store is the elaborate collection of Golden Girls goods! Who doesn't love the Golden Girls? I wanted to buy everything they had but had to hold myself back. The staff are friendly and I love that they put your purchases in a gift bag so it's like you got yourself a present. I will definitely be going back here. If you're downtown go check out this shop!

Wow The first time I went in there I was just browsing & asked about their mugs w different breeds on them, what made the mugs unique was the handle was the dog's head! Cute! I said let me know when you get one of my little fur babies in. So I got a Facebook Messenger saying it was in, since I'm no longer rolling downtown a lot I said the next time I'm on Mass Ave I'll pick it up! So less than a month, I have another event to go to & I came through the door Hi Tommy!!!! Now I'd only been there once, now twice to pick the most Adorable mug I couldn't believe she knew my name!! Great staff w great memory Unique gifts all Around!! I'll be back!

Exterior- love the blue paint, it really pops!

A new gift shop has opened on Mass Ave and it's wonderfully quirky and will fit in perfectly! First of all, I love the bright blue exterior paint- definitely makes the new shop stand out. Second, it's in a great location to get a ton of foot traffic. Third, it's full of amazing gifts and goodies. It's hard to pinpoint a specialty of things they offer so "gifts and goodies" is the best way to put it. The first thing I saw when I walked in were herbs & vegetable plants to take home and grow. The also had lots of locally made body products (options, perfumes, lip gloss, etc). Move in a little further and there are funny gifts you - Hillary puppets, candles, magnets, etc. Then they have awesome vinyl records made into clocks. In the back corner they have cheese, drinks, local honeys and treats (like marshmallows). Overall this is a great little gift shop with tons of local products. I'm looking forward to making lots of purchases here in the near future!

This was my first time visiting this shop and it was so much fun! Great little knick knacks for the witty feminist in all of us. Ranging from greeting cards (they are hilarious) to my absolute favorite a Golden Girls trivia book!! The real gold mine though is their popsicles!!! So next time you're in a bind for time but craving an icy treat skip the block long line at Subzero and just grab something from here. You're welcome.

I have never been to such a unique store in my life. Pumkinfish offers a variety of different trinkets, souvenirs, and gifts. If you are a dog lover, you must visit their section in the front of the store. They have adorable dog themed socks to cute signs. The most unique thing they had were dog mugs. They had almost every dog in these mugs whose head is the handle. The store also carried quirky coloring books to funny mugs. They also many different themed prayer candles including the full Golden Girls set. Not only does this store have unique gems, but the service was phenomenal. From the second I walked into the door, the man greeted me right away. He asked what we were in for and to let him know if we had any questions. He saw me looking at the dog mugs and told me that he would get me a boxed one instead of the one sitting out. When he got that for me, he let me look at it to make sure there were no scratches or marks. He then put it back in the box and asked if I was buying it for myself or someone else. I told him that it was a Mother's Day gift and he decided to wrap it nicely with tissue paper in their bag. I really liked this since I did not have to rewrap the gift. Overall, I recommend stopping in and checking out what items this store has to offer.

What a fun new addition to Mass Ave. Tons of eclectic gifts, home, snacks--to consume straight away or take home and make fun creations. There are things for locals and travelers here, with items I've not seen in the other local fun gift shops. They have morning specials: cup of coffee with some baked treat for $2.50 was on offer this morning. Cards, bags, cups, food, jewelry, garden/ home stuff, cursing cursive coloring book, Indy related stuff. Really nice staff. Hope they do well here!

Cute small store on Mass Ave with a lot of trinkets that make great gifts. Lots of local food companies in the store too like 240Sweets and Fermenti. Pet friendly

Or if you just want a quick snack or drink while walking around Foubtain Square, pop on in. Everything I have bought from Rooftop Fruit has been a new favorite. From the Hey Champ miso candy bars, to lip makeup, to CBD icy hot, and wrapping paper everything has been of great quality. I go here often for stocking stuffers or birthday gifts. It's nice to be able to get people something I know that they will love while also supporting a local business and so many small businesses. Recently I went in to get some wrapping paper to wrap books for a book swap and I was so pleased with the quality of the wrapping paper for the price. I was nervous that it would be see through, but it was not see through in the slightest. I got so many compliments on the wrapping paper at the book swap! Once I run out of hand soap I really want to try their waste free options! The staff are amazing and so helpful! They're quick to show you options and help come up with ideas (or let you know when they have more inventory in the back if you like to stock up on Hey Champ bars like me).

The Accent Shop has been around since 1958 when Dick and Jane Bridgins opted to move out of their department store setting in an effort to bring a more modern style store to the Indy area offering furniture, lamps, tabletop and more. Today's The Accent Shop definitely still focuses on contemporary design, though they have a strong focus on bridal and gift registry items including dinnerware, flatware, glassware, serving pieces, collectibles, jewelry, and a bunch of other fun stuff. This new location is a little more relaxed than was Nora. For the most part, it seems a lot more spacious until you get into the Collectibles area where everything is really packed in. The employees have always been helpful here, though it's definitely in a more reserved way. In terms of accessibility, I'd likely quibble a bit with Yelp's listing that "wheelchair accessible" is one of the amenities here. While it definitely has some of the basics - for example, nearby accessible parking, appropriate curb cuts, and a level to the ground entry - The store itself is for sure a little bit hit-and-miss in terms of interior design. As I noted, this is especially true in the collectibles area where even my small manual wheelchair struggled and had to detour my path multiple times due to far too narrow aisles. I can't imagine a power chair being successful here. That said, the front of the store is vastly superior to the Nora location in terms of space and design. That was nice to see. I also really love the options here. I think the collectibles section bugged me in terms of access precisely because that was my favorite area of the store. From Christmas wares to a surprisingly large (and unique) Halloween section, I was really impressed here. I loved some of the candles. I loved the garden flags. The glassware was awesome. I think my two favorite sections are likely the kitchenwares and the seasonal collectibles. I can easily see myself returning come Halloween. Prices vary. You can sure spend a modest amount here, though there are also some higher-end items. There's something special about a shop that reminds you of the value of in-person shopping. I really enjoyed shopping here and loved the diversity of the items. Overall, I'd easily return and I very likely will during both Halloween and Christmas. While I do wish the layout was a bit more wheelchair friendly, there's an obvious effort here and I'm guessing 3/4 of the store is easily accessible and for the most part going very slowly and with care I was able to see most everything I wanted to see.
