I have found some really good deals previously at the Ollie's in Mooresville so I had to check out this location. I was not disappointed. I found more greats deals! Ollie's has the best deals on rugs hands down. Compare their prices with any other big box store and you'll be surprised how much money you can save here. I found two small rugs I needed. I found a nice blue 20" by 30" outdoor rug that I can use as a welcome mat that you can wipe your feet on before entering the house. The price was only nine dollars. That's a real bargain. I also found a heavy duty black 2' by 3' outdoor rug for my RV trailer. These heavy duty outdoor rugs can be really expensive at other stores and my price here was only twelve dollars. read more

It's a mess but my favorite place to shop for children's gifts and books. Their selection is wide and most things are very cost effective. I stopped at Ollie's on the Southeast side of Indy when I was headed for Kroger Maketplace on Thompson Road. This was the first time that I had ever been in this store. From what I was hearing their selection changes quite a bit so you just need to shop around each time you go you may find some new surprises. I found a lot of interesting things including low priced large rugs. They had a pretty good-sized book selection in the store and I hauled about 14 cookbooks out of there at very reasonable prices. There were some things that I looked at that didn't seem like they were that good of a deal but overall their prices seemed pretty good. I also bought some K-Cups, they have several different brands and I bought a pack of 40 K-Cups for 9.99. Pretty good deal if you like the coffee I may have to try a few different ones to see which one is better. I head over to Kroger quite often and I will add Ollie's to part of my stops. read more

There's a good chance you'll find something you don't need here but you'll buy it anyway because it's so cheap. Since they don't always carry the same items, it's not a great store to go to if you're looking for something very specific but I like to browse the aisles and see what I can find. I also love the music - they play strictly jazz, swing, and big band music. It's refreshing since you don't hear that many places. My last trip I went in because I was looking for cookbooks and I knew they'd have a selection. I was specifically looking for low sodium cookbooks which I didn't find but I found a few other good ones. I also look here first for home decor items, they always have some pretty cute stuff at a reasonable price. read more

A friend told me about this place and I wanted to check it out. Some things are a great deal and others are more expensive than Walmart or somewhere like that. It seemed just like a dollar store to me. You get a deal on some things and overpay for others. The set-up of the store is not very visually appealing. It looks dingy and doesn't smell great. The items they're selling are hit and miss. I went in for a rug for my classroom and did find a cute one. It was $17.99 here compared to $35 at Walmart, so I was happy. Checking out was a slow process and there are no bathrooms in the store. read more

I was looking for a good bargain store, and when I heard about Ollie's, it sounded right up my alley. So I headed down to the south side to check it out. The shop is a pretty spacious store on the inside, about the size of a non-super Wal-Mart or K-Mart, and with just about as broad a selection of items. There's a decent-sized book section near the front of the store, with novels, nonfiction books, graphic novels, children's books, and others. It has a decent selection but isn't exactly well-sorted. But they're not really running a bookstore, so I can't blame them for that. Beyond that is a large food and beverage section with a good variety of items, including some name brands and some off-brands. Given that the selection is based on what they can buy at a discount, you won't necessarily find everything you're looking for, but you will probably find a number of things you didn't even know you wanted. Also worth mentioning: unlike some salvage grocery outlets, Ollie's tries not to stock expired food. There's a sign asking that if you find something past it's sell-by date, you bring it to the attention of their staff. Other sections include hardware, housewares, appliances, furniture, carpeting--nearly every category you could find in a Wal-Mart. Especially noteworthy is the large section of rugs and carpeting near the back, with some big rugs at low prices. Not everything you find will necessarily be a bargain--you might want to use a price checking app like Amazon Flow to see what the item would go for on Amazon before you decide to buy--and you won't necessarily find the same thing in the store from visit to visit. My one big disappointment was that they didn't have a section for music and movies. The bargain movies at Bulldog Liquidators were one of my favorite things to find at those stores, but since they don't have much selection anymore I was hoping to find a substitute. Hopefully one of the other discount stores in town will have something like that. read more

We've shopped at Ollie's several times now. There's not much to be had in the way of service. This is a bargain basement shopping experience. But, I've found some great buys there. Trail cameras for $35 and wacky fishing baits for $4 per package. And, great price on kids books and candy orange slices. If you don't find your bargain this trip, the stock changes often so you may find it next trip. read more

Ollies has plenty of items and most of them are a steal. The signage and the organization of the store are a little lackluster for me. The signage is very overwhelming and a bit obnoxious. The organization isn't the best. I was surprised by the large book section. read more

The great thing about Ollie's is saving money on name brand stuff! Not everything is cheaper, but a good amount is! They have some consistently same items, but sometimes they have other stuff. It's always an adventure to go shopping at an Ollie's. This location isn't my favorite. I feel like in the last year it looks more run down. Especially when you walk in the entrance. This location is much smaller than the others. I do always feel crammed when shopping here. So it's not my first choice, but I do like shopping and searching for things that are greatly priced! read more

Today was an unplanned visit to Ollie's. I certainly won't complain because I love this store. They carry everything from soup to nuts and that's the truth. Some items you see there all the time and others you might not ever see again. Of course I love the food area. I love to try new things. Ollie's gets in cereal I have never heard of. There are great discounts on books including Bibles of all kinds at a fraction of the cost. Dog and cat food, treats and toys, cleaning supplies for the house and car. Pots and pans, towels, sheets, pillows, candy, shampoo, and the list goes on and on. read more

There are plenty of other places that has qualify bargain items , that are actual bargains . Other than that , not a bad place to browse and kill time . I absolutely LOVE this store and I cannot stay out of it! I have gone from buying their cookbooks to now buying the art work (pictures) in the back of the store. Everything is priced so reasonably and if I pass the store, I will turn around and go back...What a great store to spend your money!! Their merchandise changes frequently so if you see something and really want it get it then and there because they sell out alot of the time. The employees are so helpful and professional..... Don't understand where they get off using the word bargain, prices were the same as any other retail outlet. Lots of the low hanging fruit, books, some clothes were decent prices but who really wants to buy Leon Podesta's book or an autobiography on John McCain? Place is dumpy, spent 25 min or so, like watching an episode of real housewives or the kardashians, time you'll never get back. Hard pass. read more

Ollies is the best. You can find great bargains on name brand items. I have seen prices 50% or more off the regular retail price. I wish Ollies had more household decor items. Unfortunately that section is lacking. My suggestion is to sign up for the Ollies card which will give you 15% off your next purchase after your initial sign up. For those who have seen the episode of "Parks and Recreation" where Ron Swanson and April Ludgate go to Food and Stuff, let it be known... Ollie's Bargain Outlet is Food and Stuff, for real. And multiplied by 7. It probably isn't really deserving of 5 stars, because you don't go to Ollie's because you need something specific. You just go for things you kinda need and expect to find a really good price for it. And yes, it has sardines about 50 feet from enormous rolls of carpet. And greeting cards a stone's throw from pruning shears. Hamburger meat and taxidermy crows. The place's lovability outshines its pragmatism. It probably competes with Wal-mart, but it always feels a bit more tasteful (not that that's a very high bar). And the shelves are more orderly. And, as slapdash as it appears on first blush, there is a method to the madness. Even better are the ridiculous cartoony images of Ollie himself, who apparently is Mark Twain with a tracheotomy. It's all too cornball for words, but endearing all the same. And of course, the prices are great. I've been a quarterly visitor to Ollie's Bargain Outlet for the last two years. At first, it was so lightly patronized that I wondered how it stayed in business. But each successive visit, it's been more crowded. And now I learned that there are actually dozens of Ollie's all over the eastern half of the country. A sleeper hit? We could all be so lucky. But then, if it gets too popular, people as cool as Ron and April will have to find somewhere else to get their food and stuff. read more

This store is similar in nature to a Big Lots, crossed with a Tuesday Morning and a little Walmart thrown in. Brands are usually recognizable and, from what I have seen, are usually middle of the road and higher quality. It is a fun place to explore since they receive shipments about every other day so inventory changes often. They have everything from books to very, very large rugs and rolls of carpet, throw rugs, towels, bedding, kitchen stuff, mattresses, put-it-together-yourself furniture, sportswear, paint, hardware, holiday stuffs, laminate flooring, vacuums, soft-side luggage, etc. etc. There are many steals and deals to be found and it is a clean, well organized store with a friendly, helpful staff. I visited Ollie's in Indianapolis Indiana. I have a service dog which I have the appropriate papers for her and according to the justice department who oversees the Americans with Disabilities Act. I visited the store twice. And twice I was told that I was unable to bring in my service dog. In both incidents the cashier was extremely rude and I will not be visiting there again. read more

3 stars makes it seem bad but not a bad place. I went after the chaos of Black Friday just because I had some time to kill. Items were in disarray and unorganized but that might be due to Black Friday. There were some items that were better priced such as bed sheets. You can find a couple deals on books as well. read more

This place is terrible, the staff are rude and misinformed. I called to check the price on box spring mattresses, the line transferred to 3 different people saying "Hi, how can I help you?"
