Fantastic suspense selection of books! I always say I'll only get one book, but I end up leaving with 3 or more each time!

This is my favorite bookstore in Indy! Whether you're looking to join a book club, get to meet an author, or just pick up a book or 10 you cannot beat Tomorrow Bookstore. They have plenty of books that are discounted and they also have a fantastic yearly membership! Each month as a member you get access to at least 4 of the previous month's best sellers at a high discount. The booksellers are fantastic at finding me my next mystery five star read, expanding my TBR, and giving me great book recs with any request for anyone I come in with. It's a small shop, but they do a fantastic job at curating their selection. There is something for everyone & if you can't find what you're looking for just ask! There is also a shop cat named Sweet Potato who is a sassy icon.

Jake and Julia opened Tomorrow Bookstore early this year in April with a vision to bring international perspectives and diverse writing to Indiana readers. What struck to me is the personalized thought and concept that went into the cute store. There's a wall dedicated to the owner's recommendation as well as book publishers suggestions. A very thought out space with exactly the amount of books I need and could peruse through. I picked a book close to my current liking and I also saw some more for next visits. The store has upcoming book clubs and a variety of poet and author visits at the store. A daily schedule is usually published on insta which I thought was pretty neat compared to the regular email updates. The one and only around Mass Ave, definitely a keeper!

Tomorrow Bookstore is my go-to place for browsing new and unique reads. They sell a variety of best sellers, but where they really shine is the books they choose to highlight on their tables. They display translated books and have a rotating table of recommendations depending on what month it is (Black History month, pride month, etc). Their nonfiction section is particularly good and the owners are always down to give recommendations. They host TONS of events, so be sure to check their instagram for all the details!

Love this new bookstore on Mass Ave! Just a few steps away from the Bottleworks District, Tomorrow Bookstore fills a hole left in the area after Indy Reads moved to Fountain Square. You will find a great selection of adult, teen & children's titles and non-fiction too. I enjoyed the staff picks and reading why they were recommended and thought it was a nice touch. They also have a few gifts, tote bags and t-shirts but the emphasis seems to be on books, at least for the moment. The shop was busy while I was there - so great to see people out supporting a local indie bookstore. Definitely stop in if you are searching for something great to read.

How exciting, a new book store on Mass Ave such a great addition. It's very small and quaint but lots to offer. Many books, games, puzzles and gift items. It was very quiet inside and just makes you feel right at home. A very stress free adventure.

Love this new bookstore on Mass Ave. It's a perfect addition the the neighborhood! Well laid out and plenty of reading options. Nice seating area to just relax and enjoy. Come out and support another local business!

Support local businesses! Tomorrow is an adorable indie bookstore that has a great assortment of fiction, nonfiction, young adult, and graphic novels. There are even themed displays, like the "local favorites" at the front of the store! If you want to relax and "sample" a book before buying, there is a comfy sitting area with chairs, candles, and wall hangings. Instead of ordering a book online or going to a chain store, come to Tomorrow Bookstore for an experience with friendly staff, great vibes, and a large variety of books!

Wow! An actual bricks and mortar book store! Had a couple books I needed and didn't want to give my $ to Amazon so called and ordered books, which they got in an impressive 24 hours! I'll gladly pay a little more than the big online money suck to have a neighborhood independent bookstore. Indy is looking better with this new beauty on the Ave! Long May it reign. Off to read!

Tomorrow bookstore is a new independent bookstore that opened up on Mass Ave. downtown, and I stopped in to pick up a Yelp Indy elite perk for the week. It was a Yelp tote bag and it was very nice. The bookstore is very quaint and has a nice selection of best sellers and other variety of fiction and non-fiction books. The prices are regular for what you would pay at a Barnes and Noble, but some books appeared to be pricer than others for some odd reason. I checked out the discount book rack in the store , and found an interesting book that peaked my interest, so decided to purchase the book. The books in the store are very independent to Indy and cover a wide range of areas. The decor and ambiance in the bookstore is very unique and has a lot of character that makes it so warm and fun to browse around and look at books. There is a book swap table in the front of the bookstore in which you can bring your own book to swap with another book on the table to read. It is a very creative way to read different types of books. There is a young man at the counter who was very professional and helpful with questions about the bookstore and any of the books in the store. He provided excellent customer service. I'm so glad Indy has opened up more independent bookstores in the area, because we need more bookstores. Tomorrow bookstore is a wonderful addition to downtown Indy, and I have a feeling it will be successful on Mass Ave. because there is no bookstore in downtown Indy, and this will generate a lot of foot traffic and interest from local Indy folks and tourists as well. We need character and culture on Mass Ave. and Tomorrow bookstore brings that to us!

I would never really recommend the building for wheelchair users, though I've managed to get around it fairly well. The building began development in 1921 and was completed in 1922. Like many Masonic Lodges, the ground floor was intentionally designed to allow for retail spaces as this would help support the Lodge. If you're familiar with the Irvington Lodge, then you know that it bears on it the rather ominous "Lodge #666" marking. It seems fitting to have this be in a neighborhood recognized for its many haunted locations, but there's no denying it even creeps me out a bit. The building was rumored to be the host of Ku Klux Klan meetings in the 1920s - KKK Grand Dragon D.C. Stephenson lived only a few blocks away in a mansion on University Avenue. Until 1950, the Lodge also hosted the Irvington Post Office. The Irvington Lodge continues to be an actively utilized building. Retail spaces are taken by Irvington Vinyl & Books, Hampton Designs Studio & Shop, and LVLUP Gaming Lounge. Additionally, Mosaic Church uses the Lodge's entire 3rd floor. Accessibility is most challenging in the 1st floor retail spots, though I noticed during my recent visit that Irvington Vinyl & Books had installed a bit of a ramp trying to help the situation. It's certainly not ADA, though it is an improvement. You can get into the first floor of the lodge. There is an elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 2nd floor includes a theatre room, reception room, a fully functioning kitchen, and a buffet area. You can rent these facilities and the rates are pretty market friendly. The Theatre Room has over 2300 square feet and many period touches still in place. It's rather stunning. The Reception Room is right about 1400 square feet. The 3rd floor has a couple of large main rooms. Hardwood floors are in place throughout and there's a stunning balcony that would be great for a wedding (unless you're in a wheelchair - then it would suck). This is one of those buildings I can't help but love. I'd give almost anything to have an office here, though it would inherently be a not particularly wheelchair friendly one. You also have close proximity to the Irving and nearby Irvington area businesses. Renting the facilities requires the usual liability insurance in place and a deposit, though rates are pretty friendly. They don't have preferred vendors - so, it offers flexibility that some venues don't. The Irvington Lodge was acquired, I believe, around late 2017-2018 by longtime Eastside resident Yasha Persson and a team. Given the pandemic was right around the corner, it was a challenging time to acquire such a beautiful building. However, here's hoping it continues to be such a beautiful, vibrant part of Irvington.
