Had a great experience here. The selection was great! The clearance area wasn't slim. And the store was clean. I also enjoyed my encounters with the staff. If I ever get a chance to revisit this area, that'll be a store worth visiting. read more

Always a fan of TJ Maxx but this one is not quite as clean as some of the others. It's in a great location and has been a frequent stop for quick grabs when downtown for events, walks, etc. Selection for clothing is broad, but toys and household items are a little limited. Price and value is good-they hold true to the promise of great value for trending fashion. read more

This is one of the most beautiful TJ maxx we've been to, now last time we were here it was nice but the upgrade and new layout has really improved and transformed the space. Obviously all new to use items so it was really nice to have a little time to browse through before having to dash across the state! read more

I've old is TJ Maxx is very clean, it has a very limited selection of everything. The men's section is two racks worth of clothing with very unimpressive styles. I would not recommend making the effort to come to the store, nor this mall which has for the most part been closed down. read more

Tj Maxx - Department Stores Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

Was so happy when this location opened back up! There isn't much shopping downtown (sure hope that will change at some point) outside of the mall so having this location is a treat. Parking can be a pain, I rode around the block twice to find a spot and of course since it's a meter you will have to pay. Once inside it's great. Good selection of home items and clothes. Prices seem on par with the other locations. Plenty if staff around for question. The dressing rooms are open and ready for use. The lines aren't overly long like some of the other locations, and they move quickly. Very pleased and happy to have them back open and in business. read more

I went in for a cosmetics case. They had a limited selection but I did not find what I was looking for. The store was pretty clean & busy!

Oh my goodness . I don't know what was going on, but they had fans blowing throughout the store. Not used to seeing that in a TJ Maxx.It was still as busy as any other TJ Maxx I've been to and well stocked .I commend the employees. They were still stocking , visible, and friendly.I don't know how they did it. It was hard for me to focus on shopping without the airflow I'm used to . I was expecting something different when I went through the revolving doors, but that was not it. I was in store 6/9 . read more

Ghetto... this TJ sucks. It's a Friday and it closed its doors at least 20 minutes before advertised. Employees just gawked at me while I waited outside at 9:10PM. When they close at 9:30PM. Trash... I paid for parking too. read more

Kenya was the sweetest with great customer service! Thank you so very much. Got a couple great things and always happy to stop by.

As the new school year approached, I made a random decision to stop at TJMaxx downtown on a whim with my teenager. It would be the best decision I'd made in a long time. Not only do I abhor shopping malls, but I have a hard time paying retail for anything. Luckily, I've passed that discount gene down and my mini, while at that name brand age was also taking note of prices as she shopped. We loaded up a cart of jeans, carefully selected tops, some new intimates and a pair of Nikes. We paid no more than $16 for a pair of jeans, which afforded her the opportunity to select more of what she wanted, while keeping our budget in check. We spent the afternoon bonding as she modeled and twirled in the dressing room, with a thumbs up or down. Fast forward two hours, my meter had expired and I'd received a ticket, but it was all worthwhile to see the smile and appreciation after making her choices on her new 8th grade wardrobe. This location is large with plenty in stock and the line goes very fast. Well worth the trip! Don't forget to check out their clearance aisles for even deeper discounts read more

Thais location AHS truly proven to be hit or miss. It's a huge location but sometimes just full of stuff I am not interested in. Tonight proved to be an exciting exception bc I found an item from one of my favorite brands: French Connection UK aka. "FCUK"! I was so stoked bc that's never in a TJ MAXX, I had to buy haha, luckily they weren't closed yet when I arrived on a Sunday, they closed @7p, and I got there at 6:50. Just enough time to skim and find this treasure!! Check them out when ur downtown or at the Mall It's only 1 block north of it. A quick 3min walk down the sidewalk. Unique location with some hidden gems :))) read more

It's a decent Tj Maxx. Not the best one, but not the worst one. Pros: - It's big. There's a lot of stuff from clothes to gifts to home goods. - The proximity to Circle Centre. Nice to be able to walk to the mall from the tunnels. - I almost always find SOMETHING that I like. Cons: - It's big. I have a hard time finding stuff because it's so large. - It's usually packed. The shirts are so close to each other on the racks that it's hard to look through them. - It's old and feels sorta dingy. Not the same vibe as many of their stores. You should go there still, but don't expect anything ~amazing~. read more

this TJ maxxx works on its own schedule. its closed randomly. It has some great finds when it is open but no clue how their schedule works. It says open until 8pm on Thursday, I went at 6pm and it was closed. read more

This store is jam packed full of little gems! You can always go there and find great items at discounted prices. I mean, who doesn't like to keep a little extra coin in their pocket. I found a Fossil watch in there, originally $135, for $39! Things to know: 1. Always check the price of something if you like it. Most of the times it's been reduced from the ticket price. 2. Parking is better on Market street. read more

I went in looking for a cute shirt of some kind. I left with 8 new nail polish colors and 2 pairs of shoes. The usual kind of TJ Maxx victory. Cleaner and better set up than many other locations I have been to. Pleasant staff too. read more

Women's TJ Maxx...well kids too. What a disservice to only have TWO miniscule rows of men's clothes. Worst TJ Maxx in city.

Great selection ans friendly staff. The check out line was super long but moved quickly. read more

Out of all the TJ Maxx's I've visited in my time, this is probably the least visually appealing; however, it's not the worst. Pros: - A bit larger. - good selection of cooking / foods / animal (all in the back corner) - staff was extremely friendly last time I was there - connected to the mall so you don't have to go outside in the cold months Cons: - parking (gotta pay for it) - so so so many clothes (that could be a pro too) - not the cleanest feeling store Overall a good TJ Maxx. Not the best, but not the worst! read more

Tj Maxx - Dog toys - Department Stores Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

Always a great place to find something great and unique! It's one of the best, TJ Maxx stores around.

What did you come in for? Not important. You probably need these noodles shaped like stilettos for your friend's 30th birthday. Sharon will think they're a hoot. When was the last time you went running? Never? New running shoes will motivate you and they're a STEAL here! Is that a yoga mat? At that price you better get one just in case you feel inspired to connect with your inner chi. This island theme stationary is about to be cutest new addition to your desk at the office. Is that a golden pineapple paperweight?! In. The. Cart. Better grab a bag of chia flax omega 3 rice puff snacks and a Diet Coke on the way out- you're going to need the strength the carry all these bags in from the car. read more

This is the place to go if you are traveling to Indy and forget to pack something. I forgot to pack my tie on my trip to Indy and went down to the hotel gift shop to see if they had ties. They did and they were $25 for a poor quality tie. I went to TJ Maxx and picked up a nice Kenneth Cole tie for $11.99! This is a great place to pick name brand products and a serious discounted price. read more

For an out of towner this location is hard to find. Parking is awful. Store was ok. However, the employees not so much. The manager would do well in sending his employees to charm school. Over 8 people waiting to check out and three cashiers. One was flirting with a customer and simply ignoring the growing line. You will know this one by her excessive makeup. The second cashier decided she needed to round up a cart and take a phone call. The cashier that I had asked me if I wanted a bag for my purchase! Say what?? I have been to many TJ Maxx's in several different states. This is by far the worse one yet!!! read more

A fine TJ Maxx conveniently located downtown, which is where I prefer to spend my money. It's set in a historic building where I imagine myself in another era perusing the isles with some sort of fanciful air about me. Places like these are worth supporting, in my opinion, for their charm and willingness to be repurposed. The sales are decent and finding a good deal has more to do with you being knowledgeable about top mass-produced fashion brands than the store giving you a true deal. Some of the brands you will find for the same price at Nordstrom Rack (which can always be found for cheaper online), and others will truly allow you to express your inner Maxionista. If you're all about the hunt and flexing your bargain shopping muscles, then you have to check out this store before you go straight to the mall. It's not a one-stop shop so in order to truly take advantage of this store you will need to frequent often and take mental note of the quality of item and the asking price. This place is best for business professional, work-out items, bags and shoes. The houseware is hit and miss and the beauty products are sparse. As for the men's section, they have an impressive balance between men and women's so guys have options too, which I've heard from friends is a struggle for the modern man. read more

Just checking in with some seasonal cheer and updates. The plus size section is getting work (honey child they needed it) and flourishing nicely. I have invested half my pay into clothes and shoes that accommodate my bigger behind this year so I rejoice when seeing something I can finally strut to!! In addition, customer service is on the up and up! People want to help you now, and they are actually sweet about it!! TJ Maxx you are becoming a fav!!! Now, lead me to that dusty candy!! read more

Today I bought a comforter, walked home carrying it, and found the security tag was attached. Okay, simple mistake. Walked back. Waited in line again. Politely asked a cashier to remove it. But she was too busy flirting with another customer, asking him about his accent and batting her lashes. So I asked another cashier. Then as I walked away with my tagless purchase (no one having acknowledged the inconvenience to me) the first cashier had the audacity to call "PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE!" behind my back. Because evidently I should have just stood there and waited until she was done throwing herself at the other customer, and I annoyed her by asking someone else to perform this simple 5-second task. read more

Love this downtown Indy TJ Maxx location. I visit this store practically once a week after work. It located in a historic building, across the street from the Conrad Hotel and adjacent from the Circle Center mall. If you have a desire to save money, it is a wonderful place to purchase a bargain deal. Part of finding a good bargain, is having patience - and you will need it in the store. I usually take my time going thru each aisle in order to find something I need --- or usually in my case, something that I didn't event know I needed in my life. Case in point, I went to store to purchase a scented candle for my home and left with designer sun glasses, body lotion/soaps (that I recognized being included in BirchBox) and workout gear. One of my favorite isle in the TJ Maxx store is their food section. This is were you can find brands like Stone Wall Kitchen and items like white truffle oil. There have been several items offered here at half the price (or lower) than other stores (I'm looking at you Williams Sonoma). This is one of my favorite stores in Downtown Indy and I have really become a devout "Maxxinista". read more

Love a quick stop by TJM before heading back to work. I could spend hours in there. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Best part is getting to reminisce and think about what the space looked like when it was William H. Block & Co. As for the TJ part, it's what you'd expect: lots of digging through stuff like it's a yard sale, total hit and miss for random things for which you may be searching. Some random stuff found here: oversized beach hats, high end winter gloves, perfumes, jewelry, rainbow of purses, bags and clutches, shoes, lingerie, makeup application dabbers, candied ginger, iphone cases, baby stuff, workout stuff, umbrellas and other stuff. read more

Not very pretty inside but conveniently located in downtown Indianapolis. They have a great travel selection this summer. I found some things worth taking back to San Diego: beauty products, cacti stationary & travel pouches. I loved that you can charge your phone for free while you shop. Check out their phone charging station in the jewelry department. First time seeing these in a TJ Maxx store. read more

I like having a TJ Maxx downtown. It just gets a lot of traffic so sometimes it can be picked over, and of course, finding a meter to park can be challenging. I still enjoy going to this location, and I still do manage to spend plenty of money here. I wasn't too happy with the jewelry counter on my most recent visit. I stood there waiting to be helped while the associate was helping another customer. She walked away from the counter leaving me standing there for seriously 5 minutes. She came back and apologized for the wait. I had a pair of earrings that had no price and asked for a price. She looked at the rack to try to find another pair or the same brand (I had already done that). She said she didn't see a price. No kidding, that's why I'm asking you. Then there was just dead air. Crickets. So, I asked about another pair in the case. She pulled them out, and no price. She said well those don't have a price on them either. Again, dead air. I'm waiting to hear that she will check on it or get a price. Is the stuff just there to display, or is it for sale? Finally, she said she would have to call a manager to see about getting a price. I told her I didn't have anymore time to wait for that, and I left without making a jewelry purchase. read more

This store can be addictive. Over time, I have become hooked on this store. It has become my after yoga ritual twice a week. The thrill of finding good quality items at a low price has me hooked! Apart from that, this store is located in the center of downtown Indianapolis. It can be easily assessed through the circle center mall if you don't want to walk outside, and it is only a few steps from the monument circle. Inside of the store is always clean and organized. They have a nice collection of items, mostly cloths. I can't believe the items I have found at this store at reduced prices. My most treasured finds are a Ralph Lauren rug, and a pair of the most comfortable Toms shoes. My favorite spot is the clearance section at the back of the store. It's like a treasure hunt to me. I can easily spend hours in this store, even though shopping isn't my favorite thing to do. The ambience and music just makes one feel comfortable. Now, patience is key. Not everything is truly a bargain, so you have to be smart and do a price comparison on your smart device, and also be patient going through their inventories to find a treasure item. read more

Finally someone or some corporate high up told the staff to be friendly to their customers!! I was greeted by almost all the staff! Got into the dressing room on the first call! What a pleasant change from what I experienced the last 10 or so years. The only reason I shopped before was for the discounted prices, if there was any alternative, I would've avoided them like the plague for there snooty customer service . Now I can honestly say it was a good experience!. Highly recommend....now read more

Only thing about the circle centre mall that I enjoy. Can find stuff at lower prices. Very easy to get distracted by all the cool stuff there. Very nice variety of different things at affordable prices. Can be a hit or miss though. Some things can have something wrong with them which is why they are so cheap. There're are days where stuff doesn't change and can get boring. Best to go when they get new stuff in. The stuff will add up quickly though if you are not careful haha read more

I forgot my running shorts so I ran next door from the hotel to ATJ Maxx. Store was clean. Running shorts were easy and convenient and quick to find. Check out was fine. The shorts had a major hole in the pocket which seems pretty ridiculous. But for 10 bucks they were throwaway shorts anyway. Good pricing but not very good quality product. read more

As much as I love the Marshall's in Nora, I loathe this TJ Maxx location. The customer service is nonexistent, the selection is very once over, and they never have what I'm looking for, be it a tie, drawls, dress socks, they never have a good variety. In addition, the store itself is usually dirty and disheveled. The location is not convenient, although you can get there from indoors if you go through the mall and are staying at one of the attached hotels. I just have never had a good experience or scored anything worth my while at this place. read more

One of the best TJ's I've been too. Great historic building, very different than most TJ Maxx's. Great selection, each department was huge with tons to pick from. Clean and well lit store. Conveniently located down from Circle Centre Mall. A must if your in Indy. read more

I freaking LOVE this store. I used to shop here at least once or twice a week. My loft was on the 8th floor of the building that houses this TJ Maxx on the bottom level. It was so much fun traveling down to the store by elevator or escalator just to look for random things that I might like to have. From home furnishings such as cool looking glass vases, bottles, jars, wall decor to marked down clothing that saved you over 15 bucks or more from buying them at Nordstrom or another store down the street. You also can find a lot of great kitchenware as I was obsessed with having nice top of the line looking utensils, cookware, and whatever that went into my kitchen :) read more

Aside from smelling like the sewer, there are always great finds at reasonable prices. I especially love their shoe selections.

I'm huge fan of the store! I will say that it is smaller than most and has basic items for your needs. If you need to do deep shopping, this is probably not the right location but a good stop if you need to pick up a quick outfit. read more
