I came here to find a dress for a gala that same night. The selection of dresses was fantastic. We also came the next weekend and found my fiancés suit for our wedding. It was impossible to find a linen suit but Macy's had it! Also we racked up a ton of points from our purchases. Went to Macy's to get a suite for a photo shoot, and the guy in the mens suite department harassed me the whole time I was here telling me I do t k ow what i'm talking about when it comes to my finances suite size that I have my numbers wrong he said his numbers don't even exist. A 52s in a jacket does exist and they had many of them. He basically told me i was dumb and I didn't k ow what I was saying. I went to the men's department and asked about a specific color of pants, and he just told me "go look for yourself". Really? How about some service dude? A second time 2 weeks later I went in to buy two ties, and I had to walk around for a long time to find someone to check me out. I ended up walking through 5 departments until I was able to pay for my tie at the perfume counter. read more

This mall has become so ghetto, and the employees in this Macys at the return counter on the weekends are fitting right in with that theme. Neither employee spoke other than to tell people that they were in the wrong line when there was no one else in line. Was bizarre, and they came off as rude and pushy. Leave Macys to about get run over in the parking lot, and see groups of teens/early 20s gathering for no apparent reason. This is my go to store for apparel, perfumes and shoes. Super crowded during the holidays but so quiet and comfortable post holidays. I am a Macys card member so I snag a lot of deals and earn rewards through points. Macys needs no introduction but definitely reviewing the ease of location, the flexibility of getting in through multiple entrances and great customer service. I have always found what I need and do appreciate the order online and pick up in store service which is my go to option off-late. read more

This is the saddest store in Castleton mall. The employees are clueless and not very helpful. They cannot process payment with a giftcard. Macy's makes Kmart look good. This used to be where I shopped but now I choose Von Maur or even Kohls over the disaster of Macy's. I have tried reaching out to them as to why the useless employees cannot process a giftcard transaction. Of course I have not heard back. Macy's does not care about the customer or their time! I tried to buy over $100 worth of towels but since the worthless employees do not know what they are doing, I took that purchase to Kohls and have been extremely satisfied with the experience at Kohls as well as the quality of the Vera Wang towels! The problem with Macy's is the leadership, if the leadership sucks then the rest of the staff is mostly worse. I have washed my hands from this company, and will just toss the giftcards since I cannot use them anyway. Hope this store goes away like Sears did! This store is owned by Macy Gray and William H. Macy, and they're pretty shameless about it. I try not to mention it. I almost got lost in here. It's so enormous. It needs more bathrooms. I almost called a taxi to get me around the store. This is a typical department store, but not as nice as some of the other Macy's I've been to. You can find some nice clothes on sale if you take the time to look through the racks. I just don't like big department stores. And big is the key word here. No one offered to help me while I was in here. Their prices are comparable to other Macy's stores. Hallelujah Macy's in Castleton has finally acknowledged that us larger women would like to have nice clothes that are easy to find and displayed in a customer-friendly manner and not all smushed together and messy. I returned to Macys today after a long absence due to the above issues as well as never being able to find help and was very pleasantly surprised. Not only was there store help, but the plus size section was neat and clean and even had its own dress and bathing suit section so I was able to easily find my size. (Now if we could just convince designers that not every plus size woman wants a "tankini"). I will return again. My only critique would be to have a sales associate available in the fitting room to help exchange sizes. Its these small touches that bring customers back. read more

I visited Macy's for a Reopening Party for their Beauty Department. It was a great event and everyone working was so friendly. They also had gift bags for us to take home, which included perfume samples and makeup. I even received an Anastasia Beverly Hills lip gloss and eyebrow pencil, which is one of my favorite brand of makeup. I appreciate Macy's hospitality and they hosted a great event. read more

Macy's Castleton is getting so much worse. The customer service sucks unless you are dealing with a manager. One of my big pet peeves is the clearance items on the mannequins. Mannequin displays should have current items that are still available in a variety of sizes for purchase. Another would be the lack of help. If you are looking for a particular item there is no one to help you and cashier lines are too long. Now let's talk about the mess... used to be just clearance racks and juniors had items all over the floor. Today even the more expensive labels are unkept. The dust on fixtures is disgusting. The restrooms are so old and outdated. Macy's has always been one of my favorite stores but it is quickly losing ground in Castleton. It is not worth the frustration to deal with the crap. read more

Very poor customer service! Walmart could do a better job on their worst day. I received a defective item and found out I would not receive a credit even after returning it at store! Nowhere was it written or explained. I had to package to and mail it with their mailing label. Wasted my time and gas to drive across town. I'm a gen-X gal who fondly remembers the mall as the basis of many of my young social interactions. Should I also mention my sordid love affair with Express? Sigh, a story for another day. Alas, after my favorite Glendale Macy's bit the dust I was forced to come to Castleton Mall. Yes, internet shopping seems to be the way of the world. However there is something to be said for being able to peruse a nice selection of items and make your purchase the same day. This Macy's fits that bill! I was able to find a stylish Kate Spade swimsuit (with a discount) that fit me perfectly in the dead of winter. During another recent experience I was able to nab a super stylish CK work bag on clearance for less than $50. Last week, I found the cutest Lucky brand duvet cover with 2 shams for $35 (originally $250!) Yes, I love a bargain but I truly enjoy shopping at this store. It's clean, the salespeople are helpful, and there is a nice selection of merchandise. I heart Macy's! read more

I would give zero stars but I can't. Do not buy a mattress from Macy. They do not honor the warranty at all. My mattress has a 5 year warranty. I'm 2 years into having the mattress. It is horrible. The company they use to inspect the mattress didn't show up for 2 scheduled appointments. I received nothing but run arounds. The company that they use to inspect then keeps calling asking if I want to schedule an inspection at an earlier date( then the two they didn't show up for). Castleton mall just isn't safe... I went here for an event tonight - which the girls whom planned the fashion part of the event was great but the mall crew packing up literally took the chair from underneath me the minute the event was scheduled to be over. I almost missed the event because the primary associate I spoke to didnt know about it and tried to send me to the fashion mall. While shopping I was harrassed by an older man who threatened to pop me in the face and steal my stuff . The primary associate I tried to report it to was too busy dealing with a store theft currently being committed. The other associate I tried to report it to was too busy talking to another associate about non work related things and texting on her phone she didnt even respond when I said hi. When I called and asked to speak to a manager about it, I guess the manager was unavailable- the associate I spoke to was empathetic but couldn't really do anything. Safety issue isn't Macy's fault - but they're lack of customer service and assistance was frustrating in a not great situation. read more

I typically like shopping at Macy's in Castleton Mall. They have good quality clothing and if you take your time in the store you just might find that one item you're looking for at an incredible deal. The staff are friendly and helpful. My shopping experience usually is without any incident. However on my last shopping trip there I was surprised and upset to find a clerk walking around eating a snack while working on the sales floor. This is not something I have come across before but was upset to see this happening. I will most likely return. However. This is something I hope to never see again. We ordered a foot spa for an anniversary gift and selected curb side pick up on this location. When we reached this location found out that the curbside pick up parking spots are used as normal parking spots. Finally we found one spot and we updated our arrival on the spot. After waiting for 10 mins on the spot we realized the shopping order is updated as order complete and it was showing as picked up where no one came out of the store all that time so i called the helpline number mentioned on the curbside pickup board and after waiting for 12 mins on hold customer rep listened to my issuse and said she is trying to reach to the store and not able to get hold of anyone so she suggested i call the store 2hich makes no senses . Finally I parked my car and went inside at customer service and after waiting for another 10 mins when my turn came the rep told me I was not there at the spot in curbside pickup and I told her that I drove 40 mins for this curbside pickup and didn't move an inch after reaching there they were not ready to listen. I understand that if you even tried coming out and didn't see us there is no way you can show the order as complete and picked up and for that they didn't had any answers. Worst service I will not recommend anyone to do a curbside pick up from this location. read more

Macy's was on their "A" game Saturday. Everywhere you looked there was something exciting. I went to the Fall Fashion show as a Yelp Elite invitee. I didn't know what to expect or where to go so this was all new to me. Once I found a place to park, I got a little lucky because a car was coming out close to the door) I was lost. I asked one of the Macy's staff where to go and they quickly pointed me in the right direction. The Fall Fashion show was really nice. After the show I went over to the latte coffee bar and got a can of kambuccha. Next stop was the makeup and nail bar. There was no wait for the makeup but the nail bar had too many people waiting. I settled on the makeover. The MUA had me glowing so nicely that I headed right on over to Este Lauder to make a purchase. Overall this was the best event I've experienced as an Elite so far. I had the best experience today at the Estée Lauder counter! I went in to get a wishlist together for makeup I would like and I had great service by the Estée Lauder Makeup Artist, Jan. She was very kind to do my make up so I could test out the Estée Lauder products and she wrote everything down for me with prices and notes! She also sent me home with samples of the skincare and makeup that I had tried out. I was very impressed by her helpfulness and kindness to do a trial of the makeup and send me home with products to try out! I will be returning to this specific Estée Lauder to purchase my makeup and skincare products in the future! Wonderful experience - good customer service makes all the difference! read more

I just finished returning a purse that I ordered online and picked up in-store yesterday, what should've been a simple task became problematic. I was returning it because it didn't suit my needs, but Carol acts like the bag looks worn and called her superior to come down and approve the refund. She changes her tune when I point out that the bag was made to look distressed and I just picked it up LESS THAN 24 HOURS AGO. Really Carol? This is just the latest in a string of mediocre-to-down-right-insulting interactions at this store, I've never seen anything like it. I'll drive out of my way for better customer service, thanks. I've been very unimpressed with Macy's on the whole lately. I don't feel like the quality or selection is there and some of their stores are more like short-staffed rummage sales than department stores at times it seems. With all of that said, I was floored when I walked into the Castleton Square Macy's on a recent weekday morning. The store was bright and sparkling looking. Displays were carefully curated and there were actual staff members available to help. Lots of them! One gave me directions to bra section (I had a mission in mind). Another greeted me on my way there! And the assistance in the lingerie area was top notch. I had to make a return and asked for guidance on finding something to replace what I was returning. Mary was so sweet and led me around helping me find several different styles in the size I needed. So overall, a very positive experience. I am inclined to go back to check out some of their clothing options. I would give this Macy's a try above others in the area. read more

Worry No More Warranty Protection Plan is a Scam!! Do not buy! Upon purchasing the plan I was to wait 7yrs and if I did not have warranty work done on my Macy's couch, loveseat or recliner I would get total refund towards new furniture. I have receipts and the brochure. I called to have this warranty work fix a hole in my recliner and they refused to fix the puncture because I had claw markings on the front of the recliner! So a week ago I contacted Worry No More Protection plan since it's now been 7yrs and they wont give me credit/refund since I filed the claim that they refused to do on my recliner! This is a Scam!! Do not buy Macys or Amazons Worry No More Protrction plan..they will not repair or refund as they say they will! read more

One of the anchor stores of Castleton Square Mall, this is a decent size Macy's. The selection is generally pretty good, but it can be hit and miss during the changing of seasons. If the item isn't in stock, you can ask the sales associate, generally pretty helpful, to try and locate the items from other stores or their warehouse and ship it. There is usually a sale every day so you really shouldn't have to pay full price for an item. If it isn't on sale, just wait a week, or if you can, get the Macy's branded credit card, as they send coupon's regularly. read more

Prices are reasonable but the store is a mess. I've never seen a Ralph Lauren Polo section have $100 RL shirts thrown in big piles for customers to dig through. It's like a garage sale, only no used items and no garage-sale-prices. They are also short staffed - my wife bought a pair of boots and had to wait 15 minutes to checkout. When we moved across the store for a men's suit, I was then required to wait more than 20 minutes to check out in that section (Friday night and they have ONE gentleman in the entire menswear section). I shop here from time to time when I have a coupon; but I rarely enjoy it. I feel like the Castleton Mall as a whole is just going downhill read more
