Instead of simply pointing us in the right direction, she stayed with us for at least another hour and a half to help my son find everything he needed. She sized him for a suit, helped us work through different fits and styles, and stayed with us as we selected a suit, at least six pairs of pants, four or five shirts, two ties, socks, and more. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the entire process. My son was becoming quite overwhelmed by all of the choices, and Brenda recognized that and made the experience manageable for him. Without her help, we genuinely would have struggled to get everything accomplished. Employees like Brenda are what make customers want to return to a store. Staying that long after her shift to make sure we were completely taken care of was far beyond anything we expected. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and dedication, and I sincerely hope Macy's recognizes Brenda for going so far above and beyond for us. Thank you, Brenda. We frequent Macy's a lot when needing to get clothes for occasions. They have multiple entrances, so parking usually isn't an issue here. The mall can get really busy during holidays, so it may be harder to find parking during these times. The entrance by the ladies/junior section has a women's restroom conveniently located by the fitting room. I have used this restroom often, and it's usually clean. Macy's sale racks are worth checking out. I found a cute sweater dress marked down for $22 that was on last act that I purchased. Original price was $80. I love a good sale. Fitting rooms are available in many of the departments, so that's never an issue. Most of the workers are helpful. This location also has a whole area for Macy's Backstage which is more clearance/marked down items. I found a pair of boots that were my size for $5, but unfortunately they were too tight so I decided not to purchase.

None of the big boxes stores have self serve check out machines available to handle multiple scans of the same item which I think is a huge flaw. I buy cat food by the case so three cases makes for 72 scans of the exact same item. A regular cashier employee can enter in the quantity and do one scan, why can't we or why can't the employee working the self serve check out area? I asked the employee working the self serve and she said she could not. I had 30 items, all the same, in flimsy cellophane wrapping which can be challenging at times to get a good scan. She didn't think it would work but tried using the hand held scanner to repeatedly scan one item 30 times. It worked for us, so thank you Meijer for helping me get checked out quicker and with no frustration. I do like the "department store" side of these big box grocery stores. In addition to the regular non grocery store items they offer, I have found some good merchandise not normally seen in other stores of this kind. I also find a tad better quality of merchandise as well. Particularly when it comes to kitchen and home furnishings. Their hardware inventory is larger than their competition.

I have used curbside services several times this year at various stores and I feel like Target has a really smooth and easy process thanks to the app, which also helps you save with digital coupons and special offers. I do wish the selection available for online pickup was more extensive. I have had some odd experiences, like not being able to order pickup for a specific size of an item but being able to get the same item for pickup in a larger size. Recently I needed cornstarch and discovered that two options were available for pickup and others weren't. It seems like they have been increasing offerings over time, so I anticipate this changing. Self checkouts are efficient (no glitchy scanning here) and provide a contact free experience if you desire. Employees are protected with a plexiglass shield and every time I walk in someone is cleaning the carts and enforcing the current mask policy. Masks and sanitizer are available if you forget. I've never had to wait in line to check out for more than a few minutes at this location. There is a Starbucks in this store. Sometimes the line there can get a little long but the service is great! I also really appreciate the drop off recycling for plastic bags and other items, located near the customer service desk.

There are comfy chairs and sofas to sit in. They have a charging station, and they have hand sanitizer!! The bathroom near the play area is family friendly and has a hard changing area. It would be nice if there was a lip there to ensure children didn't fall. The bathroom in the food courts is a whole different story. It is a FAMILY bathroom.
